Basically, it is unknown company so I asked company's business license or anything that proves whom I need to send the funds to but guy just sent me picture of binder of company and binder shows company name but it is not enough and I asked him to show me as documents but he said he doesn't want to release his information. If so, how can I transfer the funds to unknown company. That is the case, I dropped the project from this company. It is funds related so it must be Clearfy.

However, when a warranty issue came up (a faulty temperature sensor at the condenser) in early July, communication has slowed down significantly. Frank last replied in early September, mentioning limited inventory at AC Pro and that he'd check on parts availability. Since then, I haven't heard back despite a few polite follow-ups. I still hope this can be resolved soon and that the delay is truly due to manufacturer part shortages rather than lack of follow-through. If the repair is completed, I'll be happy to update this review to reflect that.

Robert Bachus, the owner of AHP Testing made time immediately to help us out. We were up against a deadline to open the restaurant, and unfortunately failed our first air balancing test. Robert did not just deliver the bad news and move to his next appointment. Instead he helped us troubleshoot the cause of failure and coordinated closely with the HVAC contractor we were using. Robert led the way to specify and share with the team the exact amperage and CFM levels needed to pass the test. After we hustled to source the items Robert advised us on, he put us back on his already busy testing calendar for the following day. As murphy's law would have it; Robert shows up with all his gear, we turn the exhaust system on and it still was not working properly. Rob made his way to the roof to troubleshoot and even made some adjustments to the fan belt - going way above and beyond! Not 40-minutes later we passed our air balance test! Throughout the process Robert was steadfast, calm, resourceful, collegial, and above all humble when we praised him for all the help he gave to us. My 86-year-old mother lives alone and recently told me that her house has been freezing for months. Because I do not live close by, I sent an HVAC serviceman out (from another company) to look at her system. After seeing pictures of the attic and HVAC components, it was clear that she needed an entirely new system, including air ducts (which had decayed through the years) and she needed additional blown-in insulation to reach an R30 factor. Using Yelp and other Google searches, I identified four HVAC contractors in her area. Two of the four estimators were arrogant and had trouble answering my questions over the phone. They spent most of their time telling me how good their companies were and how bad the competition was (even though I did not give them their names). The other two contractors, one of which was OakRidge Energy, seemed very experienced. Both were very kind to my mother and were very professional with me over the phone. The two arrogant guys provided ridiculously high quotes. The third was quite a bit less. OakRidge provided the best price and threw in a free "before and after duct pressure test." My mother was so happy that I had chosen OakRidge Energy because she "really liked the guy that came out to estimate the job." We signed the contract on a Wednesday, the team arrived on that Friday, and they had the entire job completed by 3:00 pm that Saturday, just three days after signing the contact. The office team, Rebecca and Hannah, were excellent as well. They were always available, pleasant to work with, knowledgeable, and very responsive. And the owner, Chris, responded to each of my technical questions, via email, in minutes. Although I did not meet the installers, my mother, sister, and brother-in-law did. They were all very impressed with how Armando, Carlos, and Cesar went about their business. They were very pleasant, were very clean and organized, knew exactly what they were doing, and seldom took a break. I asked my sister to look over the review that I had written. Here is her response unedited.... "Randy that was PERFECT! They were amazing & so professional. We all felt so comfortable with them that Mom went away for the day and Phil & I sat downstairs. Never once did we feel we needed to stand over or watch them, it was weird how much trust we had in them they just came across as hard working, honest guys and they truly were. Tim spent two full days on site running a blower door test, duct leakage test, thermal imaging, and smoke diagnostics, and he walked us through everything as he went so we actually understood what he was finding and why it mattered - not just handed us a report full of jargon at the end. He caught things we would have completely missed, including flagging that our existing 5-ton AC system was likely oversized for the space it's conditioning, which turned into a whole important thread in our renovation planning. What's stood out most is that he's kept answering our follow-up questions after the visit, even though the paid assessment was long done. Because he's independent and isn't trying to sell us ductwork or a furnace, we've trusted his read on things more than any of the contractors who are also bidding on the work - there's no incentive for him to tell us anything other than what he actually sees. That kind of honesty has been rare to find in this process. That's where it ended. I was given a 3 hour window for their arrival. I have tenants and they were going to be in and out so I waited at my home for the technician to call and say that they were on the way, so I could head over. I sat for hours waiting and when the window was almost over, the technician called and said he was stopping for lunch. I certainly don't want to deny someone food when they're hungry, but this caused him to finally show up :40 past the end of the window, which messed up the rest of my afternoon work obligations. He performed the test quickly and then said he was going to his truck to get my paperwork and would be back in :10. He was gone for almost :30. He asked my preference for dates for them to schedule the final inspection with the city. He said someone from their office would call to let me know the date and time range. That never happened. I called their office TWICE and after being on hold for :10 both times, it went to voicemail. I left voicemails with very specific info but no one ever called back. I had to troll around the city website and finally found my address listed with an appointment for the following day. Good thing I searched. Absolutely zero instructions or time specifics and while I realize this was a city thing, iPermit were the ones who should have provided me the specifics. Run, don't walk away from this company, if given a choice.
