If I could make this NO stars, I would. We hired Coastline Builders for window installation at our home in West Palm Beach and it has been a very frustrating experience. The job is still not finished, and we are being pressured to pay about $7,000 more to complete it. They're saying the extra money is to get the installation "up to code"--but installing windows to code is what a contractor is supposed to do as part of the job, not something you spring on the customer after work has already started. There have also been workmanship issues. Some windows appear to have been measured incorrectly, multiple screens do not match the windows, and there are visible gaps in the wood/trim around the window areas. On top of that, different workers show up and each one says the previous person did something wrong, so there's no consistency or accountability. Communication has been extremely difficult--no one on site speaks English well enough to clearly explain what is incomplete, what is being corrected, or why we're being charged more. read more

Recently had a second property updated with hurricane windows and doors by Reliable. Very professional, courteous crew and the owner who attended both our jobs, a few years apart, is wonderful to work with. Very responsive, dedicated to his customers and their preferences. quality products, quality workers. They prepped and covered furniture and put up sheets of plastic to protect etc. They cleaned up each night and at the end of the job. Couldn't fault a thing. One thing to note, although not a negative for me, crew didn't speak much English on the second job whereas the first job was performed by all American staff. I am wondering if this is a situation where American workers are harder to find, hot, heavy work is not for the faint of heart. Would definitely recommend Reliable and will use for any future window/door installations. read more

Used Reliable almost 8 years ago and still happy with our decision. Our windows and doors have proven tough- noise canceling and give us peace of mind during hurricane season. The added protection on the security of our home is also a plus! We have had zero issues with our windows and their operation. We have had the front door handle replaced but it was done under warranty with the door manufacturing company (which we chose during our purchase and quote- an outside vendor for a specific door we wanted). Contacted company and requested a quote. Waited weeks with no response. Followed up with a phone call. Quote was finally emailed about a month after rep visited project site. We told the rep that we wanted to move forward with the project and were told he would be out to the site on a specific date to have the paperwork signed and collect the deposit. No show, no call. Sent rep message and he apologized and stated that his day got away from him and he was consumed by his job. We setup another appointment. No show, no call. I reached out and received no response. While I am incredibly happy to see that this is such a healthy business that they do not need additional work, I am not happy about the lack of respect to others. Simply tell me that you are not interested in the work. I will find another source but stringing me along for months on end is just not right. read more

Reliable was the contractor for my large sliding glass door, French doors and front door although they didn't do the installation originally. Thank God the jerks that messed so many things up used Reliable who came through like hero's to correct their mistakes and prepare everything for the inspection! The Reliable office manager, her name I don't know, and Johann the Reliable installer, were the absolute best! I could not have been more impressed. I just had all the windows and doors in my house upgraded to impact glass. This company was awesome. Rich Morris is the owner/operator who is highly involved with all aspects of the project. He followed thru with everything he promised. His team was extremely professional and courteous! His team showed up on time every day as well as cleaning thoroughly at the end of each day.
