Dino came and measured, Donna sent me a couple of different proposals as i wasn't sure what i wanted. then i switched the window configuration completely and they said they could accomodate and poor Donna had yet another proposal to send. Gino came out and measured again and went over some specifics. the biggest hurdle we had was my hoa, they took forever as they kept switching property managers. finally got approved Vico applied for the permit and and voila.....i have beautiful windows. the installers were on time, professional and cleaned up after themselves. Donna arranged for the inspection and 2 more representatives were here during that and then removed the window stickers and left me with warranty paperwork and important info and i am tickled pink. i highly recommend hiring Vico Windows, they are a terrific company to work with.

I, on the other hand, had a FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE having my 50-year old windows and doors replaced. Everything was explained in detail perfectly. You can save 3% if you pay cash. But you can also pay via CC if you want your miles/points. The terms were fine (50% order/Balance after installation). The timeline was spot on (10-12 week lead time), permit opened with city, city inspected, permit closed. All was flawless and they do an amazing job of follow up. I have also recommeded them to the other 44 owners in my condo complex who have not already replaced their windows and doors. I cannot believe how quiet it is inside my condo now. S&R coordinated with my HOA for my condo and handled everything. They have worked in my buildings and local buildings, they are so professional and on top of it. On installation day, the office told me they would be there at 9am but it was more like 11:15am. Not a huge deal but I would have liked to know ahead of time. The crew was efficient and shop vacuumed the floors. The door looks great! It needs some track covers on the side, the coordinator assured me it will be done next Monday.

The job is still not finished, and we are being pressured to pay about $7,000 more to complete it. They're saying the extra money is to get the installation "up to code"--but installing windows to code is what a contractor is supposed to do as part of the job, not something you spring on the customer after work has already started. There have also been workmanship issues. Some windows appear to have been measured incorrectly, multiple screens do not match the windows, and there are visible gaps in the wood/trim around the window areas. On top of that, different workers show up and each one says the previous person did something wrong, so there's no consistency or accountability. Communication has been extremely difficult--no one on site speaks English well enough to clearly explain what is incomplete, what is being corrected, or why we're being charged more.

My family had a door and 3 windows installed by this company December of 2024. We have encountered…read moreissue after issue with this company. The biggest issue we had was after they installed the windows, one had a scratch on it. They couldn't resolve the scratch and told us they would replace the window. They said they would get with us that it would take 8-12 weeks to get the replacement window. 12 weeks later, no phone calls, no window, no answers when we call them. Hours and hours of time on the phone with them, no dates, no window still, and no phone calls back. We had to resort calling every week and didn't get the replacement window in until December the following year (2025). This year, we went to write off the windows in the taxes and the tax preparer needed a "QMID" number from the window manufacturer for energy ratings. They referred to the window company they use "ES Windows" and that company says that they don't have a QMID number. That means that these windows are not energy star rated and not approved by the federal government as energy efficient windows. We used this company as part of the my safer Florida grant and they knew this, and used windows that aren't energy efficient as required by the government. If you use this company, I can assure you they will not communicate with you, will not follow through on promises, and will not provide you with windows with a "QMID" number that certifies the windows as energy efficient. You are being warned. Call another company.
