The entire process with Floors Direct was seamless. Clay's knowledge and level of customer service are unmatched. I'd highly recommend working with him as he's very honest, is responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure you get the best result. We put in a new laminate floor throughout our house and the installers did a great job with the quality of the install, but one of the lighter shade boards looked a little out of place given it was right under the front of the fridge. Clay made sure the installers came back to replace it to ensure the full project was done perfectly. Trying to shop for wood panel flooring vs vinyl. Upon entering this Floors Direct store I was immediately greeted by Tony the Salesperson. The showroom is beautiful and the multi-colored styled wood flooring allows you to get a first hand idea of how the wood will look on your floor as you step on them. He explained the structural differences between certain wood panels vs vinyl. He explained in simple terms various issues and concerns that I was contemplating. We had been talking about redoing our floors for the past couple of years but couldn't make up our minds between laminate flooring, tile that looked like wood, or porcelain tile. We finally bit the bullet and decided to go for it. We spent a couple of months going to a bunch of tile stores looking at flooring and were finally able to agree on 24" x 24" porcelain tiles with a rectified edge. We found a tile that we liked and worked with Clay to order it. Clay came out to our house to measure and we paid a deposit on the tile to get it shipped to their warehouse which took a couple of weeks for the tile to come in. They're really good about working with you if there's a delay and you need to push back a date. Each subcontractor who came out was fantastic. The tile guys did a great job with the install. At the time we were tile shopping, we thought the 24" x 24" tiles were huge, but now that they're in our house, we realize that 36" x 36" wouldn't have looked odd. We paid a little extra for virtually dust free tile removal which was DEFINITELY worth it because we didn't have dust all over our house. I recommend that you get that if you're redoing your tile. The guys who came out to install our baseboards were just as amazing. Nothing in our house is normal and of course the walls are not straight. They made sure that the baseboards looked right. They even put the kick plates and trim back on the bottom of our cabinets. We had a couple of very minor issues which were dealt with professionally and promptly. So after being completely scammed by a flooring contractor, and losing 2k, I was on the search again to find a perfect tile for our new house. I wanted a concrete matte flooring look for a 1799 square foot house. I was trying to find 2 by 2 foot tiles as well. Forgive me for forgetting my salesman's name, but he was the most understanding, patient, and non pushy man. I visited this place multiple times and changed my mind about 86 times as well. We finally found a tile that was slightly out of our price range. Without us even asking he had already called the manufacturer to get a better price for us, and it worked! We also used their contractors that they hire (it's a 3rd party) and it's completely backed by them and you don't sign off or pay for anything until the job is done and perfect to your liking. We've been thinking of replacing our carpet and tiles for a few years and the entire process with Floors Direct couldn't have gone any better. Their Sunrise location offers lots of flooring variety and you are free to browse and peruse to your heart's content with no pressure whatsoever. Tony is awesome to work with. We have had so many issues with the installation I would not do business with them. We assumed this would be an easy job since it was just our Master and closet but the the installers did a terrible job and now we're fighting with them to correct the issues. They're policy is to send the same installers back again who just walked around and said that's the best they can do and now they won't send anyone else out. This project was a real pleasure from start to finish. The experience at the Showroom was very pleasant, fast and efficient. David was a an experienced and practical vendor with customer interest in mind. Both my wife and I knew very little about the products and he was explicit and direct in explaining the various pros and cons of the large array of products. Horrible experience we just had our walls painted and the left black splashes in numerous places, they scrapped the new paint in my son's bedroom,chipped my brand new tub,and broke the leg on my bedroom end table. We were replacing all the floors in a new house and had no idea what kind of flooring we wanted. We spent an afternoon with Joan looking at wood floors. I really don't do too many reviews on Yelp. But I had to do a big shout-out to Maurizio in his crew. We had a few hiccups with supplies but nothing to blame the installs. But after all that was said and done you can ask for the better crew to come out Maurizio his dad and his cousin are trustworthy professional and caring on what they do. They showed up everyday like clockwork at 8 in the morning start to work right away and actually sometimes didn't even take lunch. They're very caring and personable and have great ideas. We did the entire house except for two bedrooms porcelain would look and everything came out fantastic period the next time when I'm looking to do my two other bedrooms I wouldn't ask for anybody else. Just a few minutes in the door, my husband and I were promptly greeted by a salesman, David, who was very friendly and professional. He showed us quite a few options and made sure to point out special order items vs. in-stock items, which was very helpful considering our project's time constraints. The store carries a wonderful and diverse collection of styles, brands and price ranges. Their quote came in MUCH lower than other very popular flooring stores. I worked with Josh at Floors Direct for my flooring project on my new home. We needed to replace the carpet on the second floor and stairs. He was very knowledgeable in the products. When it came to the staircase, I had one major request that it would be flush. With two very active boys, the flooring would not stand a chance against anything that was not flushed. Josh suggested that they do custom solid stair treads for that area. It was exactly what I wanted/needed. The process did take a lot longer than expected, but the results were FANTASTIC! Josh and his installation team were so patient with us when we had delays in our closing. They were also able to squeeze us in once we finally closed. Jay and his installation crew were awesome! They were professional and did an amazing job with the installation. It was great working with Josh. He was always available to answer questions and worked really hard to make it a smooth process as possible. We installed 1500 square feet of laminate flooring with Floors Direct in Plantation. The store is quite large and has a large selection to choose from. Many of the samples are actually on the floor so you can get a good idea of how the floor will look. We had to have the floors installed quickly before we moved into our new home. We turned to David at Floors Direct after a water leak and having checked pricing with competing vendors we were happy we did. David took the time to work with us to make sure we got what we wanted, he was gracious with his time and getting us samples to take home as we changed our mind a few times! After finally deciding, the installation process and team were great and we love the carpet. Then, when we had a second water leak, we called them and they were able to get a team out the next day to replace the padding and salvage the new carpet. They really cared. Then when I called to get the quote after they measured my bathroom it was about 700 dollars more than originally quoted (not only for the tile, but also the installation). When I initially spoke to them they knew it was a bathroom and then when I got my quote they told me it's extra to install the tile in the bathroom. I'm very disappointed. Because I have a small bathroom they wanted to make as much money as they would on a large bathroom. If they would have been more up front in the beginning I wouldn't have wasted my time. read more

Ordering was just okay. After 2 weeks we were called and said one of the floors was not going to come in. We had to go down and pick another. Installation was quite the experience. The first thing the 2 did was use the bathroom. Then after that it was each morning they were here. When you could not find one, they would be in the bathroom. Very lazy. I can honestly say I moved 85% of the furniture and put it back. One would disappear for long periods of time. My entrance floor was chipped in 2 spots due to them leaving their machinery on my floor for days. Complained to the manager and my husband also went down to complain. But nothing was ever done. Dealing with Ed and Lindsey was a pleasure and they were beyond helpful in dealing with the condo association where I live. After having been burned by Floors and Decor, I went to Floors Direct in Plantation. The store is large and well laid out with a good selection. Found the laminate I wanted and it was just installed. I couldn't be happier with the installation. The crew were really nice, worked quickly and did a great job. If it weren't for a factory mistake in sending the wrong size baseboard, the floors would have been finished in one day. They came back first thing the next morning to finish the job. May sound minor, but they were going to be a little late, and they called to tell me that. I appreciated the call. Would definitely recommend them. read more
