Distinctive Carpet & Tile - Carpeting Near Me - Davie, Florida

Paul assisted me every step of the way and made sure I selected a durable carpet that fit comfortably within my budget. I had so many questions about fiber, pattern, carpet pad, durability, and care, and he took the time to answer every single one without rushing me. The subcontractors were professional, efficient, and worked quickly. During the installation, I started feeling overwhelmed thinking about how much cleanup I'd have to do afterward--but to my surprise, they left absolutely no mess behind. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, informative, and stress-free. Highly recommend! read more

Definitely worth the drive up to Davie to visit Distinctive Carpet & Tile. The store is clean and offers a great variety of flooring. Upon my initial visit I was greeted by Jason while he was taking care of other customers. Jason was patient and helped me select a tile that matched a picture I showed him. What I absolutely loved about Jason was his concern about getting the correct dimensions for my job. I live a distance away but that was never an issue with them. Paul came out to my home to measure correctly and get a feel for what I wanted vs what would be most suitable for my room. Paul convinced me to go with a larger size tile in a lighter color. I was doubtful at first but decided to follow his lead. Best decision!!! My floors look fantastic! Their installer is superb. I look forward to working with them again. read more

We are absolutely delighted with our new bedroom floor which went from a vague idea to fully installed in less than two weeks. Paul and co. know exactly what they are doing. Costing was very fair and no-nonsense, and actually came in significantly under the original estimate. We were also treated with great kindness and responsiveness the whole time by Paul and two experts on different aspects of the job (and we appreciate that he sent two different people to do what they're best at rather than try to OSFA it). We bought a house with several rooms/areas that we want to refloor and we will be coming back to Distinctive Carpet for every one of those jobs. We are so happy. It's a joy to be able to sincerely support a local business with so much experience and expertise and great service. I am showing everyone my new floor whether they want to see it or not and telling everyone who will listen about this great local business. A huge thank you to Paul, Steve, and Hugo as well as anyone we didn't meet in person. read more

I recently with here for the first time with my brother and sister-in-law to help them pick out new flooring for their downstairs and bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised with their selection, and we were able to find everything we needed on the first visit. read more

This is my go to tile and flooring store, I used distinctive carpet and tile to install new laminate flooring in my home years ago and the quality and speed is superior. The owners of this store are very helpful and ensure you get what you need. read more

This flooring store has the best selections of designer large format tile. I had great customer service from Paul. They tiled my entire house and am so grateful that I found this store. Thank you read more

We were referred to Distinctive Carpet and Tile, made an appointment to visit the store, and quickly had Jason to our home for the quote. I'm not sure how they compared in price with box stores, but their flooring selection was great. Jason helped us to choose hardwood to replace carpet we inherited from the previous homeowners and it perfectly complemented our existing tile downstairs and stairs. They were fast and patient in our typical battles with an unreasonable HOA. They hauled away all the old carpet and kept the workspace neat. The installer Hugo is an expert--the floors look amazing! We are picky, our house is even more beautiful after the hardwood was installed, couldn't be more pleased with their results. read more

Distinctive Carpet & Tile - After carpet removal - Carpeting Near Me - Davie, Florida

I can highly recommend Distinctive Carpet and Tile in Davie! we decided to have our carpet replaced in the master bedroom with a wood laminate floor. After searching and reading various reviews for local flooring stores, we decided on Distinctive. Paul was extremely helpful with making a flooring choice and quickly following up with availability, measuring and scheduling to meet our needs just one week later. The installer was Hugo, and I cannot say enough about how hard this guy works and what a fabulous job he did completing the installation in 1 day. We could not be happier with the choice we made and the final look of the room. We chose to have the 1/4 round at the base instead of removing and replacing baseboards and it looks seamless! The job was completely cleaned up afterward and Hugo after having to move some furniture around in the room for the installation helped us to move other large pieces back into the room that we had removed ourselves. We are so satisfied that we decided to get 2 more bedrooms done as well! read more

Paul is very informed and knowledgeable in his field. Finding this company after dealing with another horrible company was a blessing. I had to hire distinctive to redo another companies terrible job. Their pricing was very fair and competed with other quotes. Steve (the installer) showed up an hour early and started immediately. Steve was very professional and a very skilled craftsman. All of his cuts and caulking are perfect. His work area was well kept and organized throughout the whole job. He finished 2 elevators for our property in about 7 hours. I will definitely be using them again for future flooring jobs for any of our companies properties. read more

I am so happy that I stopped here on my search for new tiles for my house. I was on a mission to find the perfect gray tile at the right price for my new home. I ran in here after work a few minutes before closing and Paul was very helpful offering me lots of great advice and guidance. I told him what I was looking for and my budget and he went above and beyond calling around to some of his vendors to see if they had anything that would fit my needs. A few days later Paul called me and told me he thinks he found a couple of options that might work for me and ordered samples for me to come see. I took both samples home for a week trying to decide which one to commit to. After agonizing over this important decision, I had to consult with Paul before finalizing my decision. He gave me great assurance that my decision was a good one. After finding the right people to install, I was so happy with the final results! I would highly recommend coming in and speaking to Paul for your tile desires. He is an honest and sincerely helpful businessman. Thank you so much for your patience and extremely helpful assistance on this major detail for my home. I love my new tile floor! read more

We bought a new house and had to redo the bedroom floors. Paul (owner) was very patient and informative as he guided us to the best flooring options. I appreciated the detailed communication at every stage of the process. Hugo did the floor installation and arrived on time each day. Simply the BEST. The best customer service, the best knowledge, the best selection, the best installation. Hugo (installer) did our master bedroom and walk-in closet today......... by himself in about 8 hours. He is a hard worker and does precision work. He is very kind and respectful, plus he cleaned up immaculately. (I think I will hire him as my housekeeper.) LOL. I have complete faith in DISTINCTIVE CARPET & TILE. We have used them for our three bedrooms, two baths, and sitting room. I will use them when we are ready to finish the other rooms in the house. There is no reason to go anywhere else. They are simply the best! It's such a wonderful feeling to have confidence in people you can depend on especially in today's environment. Amazing Company. I had a short window of time to complete my job before my moving truck arrived. I met Paul at the store to see my options, he was a phenomenal professional who listened well to my needs and delivered a phenomenal solution, he came to my home the same day to measure and select the right color. Paul and Jason were very professional and communicated every step of the process. They are attention to detail oriented. Little details that made a world of difference. Love the outcome. We had to deal with a demanding condo association but Distinctive Carpet & Tile was approved by no time. The installation crew was professional, clean and did everything to a high standard. They did an OUTSTANDING Job. I am very pleased with my experience from start to finish. Thank you Jason and Paul! read more

In 2018 a leak soaked the carpets in 3 rooms, we walked into Distinctive Carpet & Tile and Paul and Jason immediately arranged for a crew to take out the wet carpets and helped us in selecting the replacement carpets which were perfectly installed by Steve their installer. Last week we had to pull part of the carpet in one of the rooms and called Distinctive Carpet & Tile to see about putting it back and again Jason came through helping us sending Steve even before the day he was supposed to come. He just left leaving the room like nothing ever happened. Impecable job by a very nice person working for an excellent company. We are very happy and pleased and recommend Distinctive Carpet & Tile 200%. read more

We bought laminate floors for our new house through this company. They were so great. I had picked out two different floors. One was more expensive than the other (and also not featured in their store, although he could get it for me). Most companies would push the more expensive one, so they can make more money. Not these guys. He said that in the long run, the cheaper brand last longer and has much higher customer reviews on the internet. Went with the less expensive and could not be happier. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest and well priced location to do their tile, carpet, wood, or laminate flooring. read more

We just had our floors redone and we're completely happy with Distinctive Carpet and Tile. Paul and Jason made the whole process very easy and were always helpful and pleasant to work with. This business is owned by two brothers. They are both very knowledgeable and go above and beyond to inform you on all your options and help you make the best choice for what you want within the budget you have to spend. I went in thinking I was going to get one thing and couldn't be more pleased with what I ended up with and at a cheaper price!! The installers they use are absolutely amazing. They did a fantastic job and in a much faster timeframe than I expected. The floors look fantastic and I highly recommend this company!! read more

After visiting several carpet dealers in the area there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to choose Distinctive Carpet and Tile. This is a family owned business and takes pride in the way the treat their customers and crew. As a matter of fact one of their installers has been working for them for over 18 years. Jason knew exactly what I wanted when I described it to him and he pointed me to correct choice. The price was right and I made a deposit. When the crew came to install they worked extremely well as a team and did a great job. I highly recommend Distinctive Carpet and Tile and will not hesitate to use them if I have any future flooring needs. read more

I couldn't be happier with Distinctive Carpet and Tile. Paul and Jason gave me good advice on the best type of flooring for a bedroom. I was given all types of flooring my mom there and their suggestion and price was the best. Today, March 10, Steve and Mike came to my home and in just a few hours they were done. They were so good, quiet, quick and very clean. No mess anywhere and my floor is beautiful. I am very thankful I found this company and would highly recommend them. read more

I have used this company to install tile in my living room. They have done a decent job and completed the task within three days, as promised. However, there were several issues which have made the whole experience not quite perfect: - The installer, Walter, was late every day but especially so on the last day. He told me that he was going to come at 10:30 am but actually showed up after 1:00 pm and in my opinion smelled of alcohol that day. - Walter seems to have a penchant for slamming doors. It was very disconcerting to sit and listen to the front door slam every few minutes as Walter was going in and out. The vibrations reverberated throughout the entire house. I was wondering if I'm going to have to replace the door and/or the lock next. - The installers left the bathroom a mess. When I went to the bathroom the floor was completely wet and for some reason the shower was turned on. When I asked Walter what happened he made some flippant comment. Other than these few issues, this seems like a good company to use for flooring. read more

I have used Distinctive Carpets twice over the past two years. Each experience has been excellent. I found Jason and Paul to be very customer friendly and knowledgeable. By far the best tile store I have been in. Went to Hime Dept and Dolphin Tile first. They were priced much higher and I could not get an appointment for them to come out for at least one week. I chose Distinctive Carpet based on reviews and admit I was a little nervous. From the initial estimate to the completed job I couldn't be happier. We had vinyl floors installed on all the floors in our two bedroom condo. The building is old so when the installers ran into plumbing problems referrals were furnished and all issues were rectified with ease. I can't recommend this company high enough from beginning to end they did an excellent job and I look forward to working with them again. Thanks Sean! read more

Had a great experience here. There's a great selection here, with lots.of product.lines.and.price points. We picked out a sweet tile floor, and the price was very competitive. Then we went home and decided to expand the project. Jason was very accommodating and we ordered more product and scheduled an installation. We had to get the floor fixed, and although not part of the usual services, he made recommendations that were very helpful. During the installation process he called to make sure everything was going smoothly and that all the details were taken care of. The installers made sure that we were happy with the installation and we were satisfied. All in all it was a five star experience, the floor looks terrific. I would recommend this store to friends and family. read more
