The showerhead was missing a washer so I need to exchange that. This morning, I walked into the Ace Hardware store and spoke to the cashier. He told me to go upstairs and exchange the two parts. I went upstairs to exchange the two parts and one of the employees started to interrogate me about who told me to come upstairs and exchange them. I told him that it was the cashier. He asked me what the name of the cashier was. I told him I didn't know the name of the cashier, but since he works there, he would know the name of the cashier. He absolutely refused to let me exchange the two pieces. I went back downstairs and returned the two purchases. The refund was refunded to my credit card. I then went to Home Depot on Oakland Park Blvd. and got the flapper valve and the shower head along with thread tape. Home Depot had plenty of employees on the floor. I asked one of the employees where the thread tape was. She looked it up on her handheld device and took me right to the product. To top it all off everything was a total of $25 cheaper than at Ace Hardware on the beach.

Apparently the batteries I purchased at Harbor Freight lasted no longer than three weeks before my vehicle notifies me that the battery was low. Given the vehicle model, the engine will not start if the key signal is not detected, which would require me to manually unlock and lock the doors. There was a battery display near the self-checkout. They had the 2032 battery in both Energizer and Duracell brands, available in 2-packs, 4-packs, and 6-packs. Here's hoping these last longer.

Every delivery was delayed by 1-2 days, which completely stopped our production process, and they take absolutely no responsibility for the losses caused by their delays. On top of that, during the very first delivery, their forklift operator dropped a full pallet from approximately 1.5 meters directly onto our equipment. Again, nobody took responsibility for the damage. This is an awful company with terrible service and zero accountability. I would never recommend working with them.

Luckily, it didn't break. Unfortunately, I have an older type shower arm with a ball socket on the end. I had tried to turn the shower head, not realizing that it could only pivot up and down, so I caused it to pop off. After numerous tries on my own and tutorials on YouTube to figure it out, I finally decided to bring the whole shower head with parts to Home Depot to ask my "go-to" guy, Steve, in Plumbing for assistance. Steve wasn't there, but no worries; Vinny was there to the rescue. He escorted me to the area wall of parts to show me the adapters; however, after further conversation and inspection of my shower head, he told me it was relatively simple to re-install it. I went home to immediately do just that and in less than 10 minutes and without any tools, it was back in position securely. I tested out the water right away and, no leaks or spurts were anywhere. Thank you Vinny (if you get wind of this review) and The Home Depot for having considerate, knowledgeable and helpful employees to assist those of us in need for "Do-it-yourself" type of projects. I am one who is very grateful and will continue to be so.

I approached the male employee at the register and showed him a picture of the battery I needed for my key fob. He pointed me in the right direction as they had a four-pack for $4.99. After replacing the battery, I tested the fob to see if it works. All is well.

We browsed their offerings and decided we liked the ones at Lowe's better, however, since we were there, we figured we would check out a few other items. We used to shop at Harbor Freight stores (a different location) a lot as my husband was previously on their mailing list and they had a lot of specials on various tools and other items. We walked around. We didn't wind up buying anything this time, but we got a good idea of what merchandise they had in case we needed to know this for future.
