Lauderdale Lakes Small Engine Repair actually did what I asked them to do which was tune, adjust the high and low jets, on the newly rebuilt american made Walbro carb. They charged me $25 for the diagnosis and $4.06 for the repair work. Totally fair. Other shops just wanted to put a new carburetor on the chainsaw. Carburetors are not being made with the proper linkage for this model Homelite chainsaw but rebuild kits are. Don't let the look of the place deter you from using lauderdale Lakes Small Engine Repair. This is one way they can keep their prices in check. Do yourself a favor and use them. The store is very crowded...when I arrived, there was a rope in the front of the booth, so I asked my question from this side of the rope, and the gentleman looked for the item on the other side....I was there when they opened, so I don't know if that's the way he runs the business or if he would take the rope down..... I called Deck and Dock and from the very first call, I started to place my material order with Angel. She was not only a joy to work with but since I do not do marine contracting as a daily profession, she was able to respond with any question I had. On my phase 2 finishing work part of my project Deck and Dock had run out of piling wrap. Angle and the yard staff loaded my truck with everything but the warp. Angle promised to call me as soon as the wrap cam in. About 4 yours later (right around lunch break time) she called and had it ready to be picked up. Awesome experience with this company.

I think we ended up checking them out because they were open on a Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a nice variety of product and the service was excellent. I don't remember the name of our salesperson, only that I was amazed that he was still in high school but so poised and knowledgeable about countertops! We decided on a quartzite slab for our kitchen and got a very reasonable price. Half Price Countertops cuts, fabricates, and installs the slab. We had to wait for our cabinets to be installed first, but as soon as they were done we called, and Half Price Countertops was immediately ready to start the installation process. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen counters look amazing! We did have one small glitch where our dishwasher did not fit after installation. We called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and within a couple of days someone was there to fix the issue. We are extremely happy with our kitchen countertop and I would highly recommend this company: Great product, service, and value!
