I've never been treated as rudely as I was treated today, I'm embarrassed that I still gave McDonald Hardware any of my hard earned money. The guys said his name was AKIVA? - I will never be back, no I will be back because I was helped many times before, someone can respond to me and tell me when that guy is FIRED and quite honestly any employee that sat there while he was mocking me like some playground bully, they should be fired right along with him for allowing it to happen. It's SAD that I'm actually writing this review because I am one of the biggest supporters of "support small business" but I cannot ever suggest this business after the way I was treated today. It turned out to be true. Jeanine greeted me with a huge smile. I told her my story and she asked Dale if he could help. I looked around for maybe 90 seconds and he already put the key on. It was really amazing. I wanted to make a purchase but really couldn't find anything I needed. It didn't matter. They were just happy to help. I highly recommend Richard's for those hard to find things the big box stores don't carry. I told a couple of my neighbors about this store and one said he comes here at least once a month and also raved about the customer service

Being I was in Del Ray Beach that day I hopped into the car and off I went to Bartels Doors. From the first time I walked into the store until this past Tuesday we have been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. Finding immediately what I wanted on the trip my husband and I drove back a few weeks later and picked out our door from the huge variety they have. Being as the door is made in Germany we were told it would be approximately four months to make and get here. What's another four months so okay let's do this. On Tuesday, April 22, our door was delivered and installed. The staff from Bartels had called giving us updates on the door and then called for a delivery time and setup. Being as we live three hours away they were still able to deliver (for a very small fee) and install on a timely basis (30 minutes earlier than told). The staff at Bartels Doors are outstanding, fabulous and so courteous and we will be doing business with them again. The door??? Beyond our wildest dream and it's BEAUTIFUL installed.

Also, you don't have to order enough to supply an army- if you need a small quantity, DK hardware will sell it to you. The item arrived quickly, and was packaged well. The price was fair, and the expectations for arrival time and communications were all clear. I plan on making more purchases from DK- they did a great job of filling my order! What's DK stand for?
