It turned out to be true. Jeanine greeted me with a huge smile. I told her my story and she asked Dale if he could help. I looked around for maybe 90 seconds and he already put the key on. It was really amazing. I wanted to make a purchase but really couldn't find anything I needed. It didn't matter. They were just happy to help. I highly recommend Richard's for those hard to find things the big box stores don't carry. I told a couple of my neighbors about this store and one said he comes here at least once a month and also raved about the customer service

The guys said his name was AKIVA? - I will never be back, no I will be back because I was helped many times before, someone can respond to me and tell me when that guy is FIRED and quite honestly any employee that sat there while he was mocking me like some playground bully, they should be fired right along with him for allowing it to happen. It's SAD that I'm actually writing this review because I am one of the biggest supporters of "support small business" but I cannot ever suggest this business after the way I was treated today. The store is packed with inventory. The husband and wife make a very good team with friendly service. We were greeted immediately upon entering. We explained what we were looking for and she directed us to her husband (I'm assuming) who was able to show us where to find what we were seeking. He even made a couple recommendations and explained why the bits come two to a package (because they break). We didn't select the first item he'd suggested, but it was easy to find an alternative at a less expensive price -- as we didn't need the color/higher quality of the first choice. We paid at the front of the store. The price was quite reasonable and comparable to the bigger stores. And left happy that we came and found what he'd needed.

I just wanted to say what a fabulous, fabulous Staff they have at ACE Hardware Cordova Road!! They were beyond accommodating, taking time to help me locate my miss placed wallet. I don't have the names of everyone at ACE Hardware that were so very kind. The two Managers, and one very lovely older woman were stellar. The security guard at TJ Maxx located my wallet. Not sure how I lost it!! I am so blessed!!

The manager didn't think he had what we needed any longer, but checked with a staff member. They had one kit left, but only in white -- the wrong color. The staff member said we should order it on Amazon (!). I explained we were trying to "shop local" ... In any case, the manager gave us some suggestions of some larger stores that might have more inventory. He even suggested we call a location in advance to see if they could order it. That was incredibly nice of him to do so... If you live in this area, and need something, please visit. They deserve to get some yelper business

I guess everyone has had different experiences with Hanna, but all of mine have been very good. Hanna Paint and Hardware is a smaller privately owned hardware store which for me offers a much better shopping experience than I have at the big box stores such as Lowes or Home Depot. Hanna's is a place where I can easily find someone knowledgeable to give me shopping assistance and sound advice. I know that one time I walked into Hanna asking for a specific item and the clerk told me, even though he did carry that item, it was really not the best hence not what I should want. So, I picked up the other item he recommended and yes, he was so right and it was so much better. The chances of me getting good advice like that elsewhere are at best, remote.

But with a little Google-Fu, I found this place's website. Their parts are described well, with clear photos of the items. Also, you don't have to order enough to supply an army- if you need a small quantity, DK hardware will sell it to you. The item arrived quickly, and was packaged well. The price was fair, and the expectations for arrival time and communications were all clear. I plan on making more purchases from DK- they did a great job of filling my order! What's DK stand for? We completed a super complicated project for a customer and installed it. Returned to our customer's house for additional work and found that one piece was rusting. Called DK and was told there was nothing they could do. It had been over 30 days. It takes 30 days to do this work, so we didn't know it was the wrong material until after that. We'll double check in the future, but at the end of the day they sent an incorrect product and should replace it with the correct product. This costs us about $2500 in time alone to repair. Looking into small claims. Terrible customer service. Do not shop here.
