Highly highly recommend Boca impact windoors and doors!…read more We replaced all of our courtyard doors with gorgeous hurricane-proof doors and glass as well as our back door and door to the garage. The total install time was less than 2 days, and everyone was friendly, efficient, and professional. To begin with, Heath will be your consultant, measure and give you estimates, talk about color options, etc.. We went with dark bronze, which is a very rich dark brown (almost black). Heath is so great at answering questions and getting back to you promptly. He made the process very pleasant and stress free. Once the decision is made, the measurements will be double-checked by another person, and doors/windows will be ordered. They will work with HOAs and will do all the permitting and inspection scheduling. On the day of the inspection, you will have someone come early, make sure all is good, and then once the approval is done, finish all the details like capping screws etc Johnny and his son John were absolutely fantastic, so friendly, extremely thorough, and went through everything twice and more Any concern was addressed, and they literally took all the time needed to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you! Some info: - Plan ahead as it took about 3 months for everything to be custom-made, so don't expect a fast turnaround - You will have a little out of pocket cost for fixing parts that are a result of changing old doors like tile or stucco repair (like if the old door was too big and the old tiles didn't go all the way). This was made clear to us - The time frame between installation and inspection was about a month because of the county's backlog All in all, if you want a super professional and reliable quality company that you don't have to chase around for answers or follow-up with friendly and efficient staff, this is the company for you!

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Boca Impact Windows & Doors. From start to finish,…read morethey were incredibly professional and respectful of our home. We were nervous about our house turning into a construction zone, but their crew went above and beyond -- they covered and protected all of our furniture, worked efficiently, and kept everything spotless. Joe, our sales guy was knowledgeable and patient. Mike, the supervisor, was fantastic, and every member of the crew clearly took pride in their work. They gave us a two-day timeline but impressively finished everything in just one day without cutting corners. The quality of the windows and doors is outstanding, and the pricing was very reasonable for the level of craftsmanship and service we received. Highly recommend Boca Impact Windows & Doors, they truly exceeded expectations. Id also like to add, both our blinds and stucco contractors noted how well the installation by Boca Impact was done.

1 STAR -- MISLEADING SALES EXPERIENCE, QUESTIONABLE TRANSPARENCY, AND UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER…read moreTREATMENT I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience with Florida Impact Windows & Doors has been so disappointing that I feel obligated to share it so other consumers can make an informed decision. My husband and I paid approximately $5,350 for what we believed would be a beautiful, solid metal hurricane-impact door with a narrow vertical glass opening. To be completely transparent, the salesperson originally sent us a link to a manufacturer's catalog back in April. However, our plans and installation timeframe changed, and we never reviewed the catalog before the link expired. Months later, when we contacted the company again to move forward with the purchase, the salesperson showed us a photograph directly from his phone depicting the solid-style door we wanted. Based on that photograph and our conversations, we believed we were purchasing that design. At no point during these renewed discussions did he explain that the actual door would be predominantly glass, with decorative metal panels subsequently glued onto it to create the appearance of a solid door. That is an extremely important distinction, and one that should have been clearly disclosed before we committed to a $5,350 purchase. I also want to emphasize that, to the best of our knowledge, there is not a single text message, email, or written explanation from the salesperson clearly informing us that we were purchasing a predominantly glass door with metal panels that would later be attached using adhesive. Nothing in our communications explained this construction method or how the finished appearance would actually be achieved. The company continues to point to our signed contract as justification. However, signing a contract does not change the fact that this significant construction detail was never clearly explained to us during the sales process. Had we understood what we were actually purchasing, we would never have proceeded. Instead, a predominantly glass door was installed. Only afterward were panels attached using adhesive to create the appearance of the door we had originally requested. I've included photographs of the final installation so prospective customers can see exactly what we received. What makes this particularly frustrating is that the salesperson's own text messages and the photograph he shared document what was represented to us. We have retained those communications. Unfortunately, the situation became even more disturbing when we questioned the outcome. Rather than simply addressing our concerns professionally, the salesperson sent a text suggesting he could contact the Wilton Manors Building Department regarding permits for unrelated improvements to our home. He also wrote, "It takes 2 to tango." We found that communication intimidating, retaliatory in tone, and completely inappropriate. Imagine spending more than $5,000 with a company, questioning why the finished product was different from what you believed you were purchasing, and then receiving a message suggesting that your other home improvements could be scrutinized. We brought these concerns to management, explained the circumstances, and requested reasonable compensation. The company acknowledged miscommunication involving its salesperson but ultimately declined to offer any financial accommodation. While that is their decision, it does not excuse what we consider a serious lack of transparency during the sales process or the way our concerns were handled afterward. My husband and I intend to pursue formal complaints with the appropriate Florida consumer protection and regulatory agencies regarding these circumstances, particularly the salesperson's written communication. MY ADVICE TO ANYONE CONSIDERING FLORIDA IMPACT WINDOWS & DOORS: Before signing anything, insist on receiving the exact manufacturer's model number, current product specifications, and written confirmation of how the finished door will actually be constructed. Do not rely solely on a salesperson's photographs or verbal explanations. We trusted this company to provide what had been represented to us. Instead, we received a door we would never have knowingly purchased, an unexpected modification involving adhesive-mounted panels, and a customer service experience that left us extremely disappointed. This was never simply about money. It was about honesty, transparency, accountability, and treating customers with respect. Unfortunately, our experience with Florida Impact Windows & Doors fell far short of those expectations.

We hired John to help with two home projects, and it was an excellent experience!…read more Project 1. Pull-up bar assessment: While ultimately we did not install the pull-up bar, John's comprehensive analysis, infrastructure review, and counsel was the principal output. John understood the proposed project and took immediate action to understand the infrastructure before providing us an adroit assessment. It is a practice that is indicative of a quality practitioner is his field. Perfect. Project 2: Crown molding repair: We purchases this residence a few months ago. A piece of the crown molding within one of the rooms magically decided to fall from the ceiling one day. You can imagine how pleasant that was. John knew immediately what to do how to do it. The crown molding is now repaired better than preexisting. Project 3: Refrigerator Handles: With a custom refrigerator and decorative handles, it wasn't your average appliance repair. The veneer panel and associated brackets needed to be delicately removed to facilitate the necessary repair. John was excellent in this project. Not only does he have the experience repairing high-end kitchens, but possesses a skillful eye for craftsmanship and detail. According to John, he has been frequently complimented in the past for his attention to detail and application; I believe it. Overall this was a great success, we will certainly be using John again. I can highly recommend him.

Excellent job done in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.read more
