Her emphasis, more than passing the test was making me a responsible, law abiding and hence a safe driver. She took care of the car's maintenance and cleanliness. She was always cheerful. After I passed the test she was more happy than me. Woman of great character I highly recommend her as a driving instructor. I will be indebted to her for teaching me DMVs rules and practices. She held a very condescending tone with me while I drove and critiqued every little thing I did. Before I even got in the car, she was giving me judgmental, disapproving looks for not starting my lessons sooner, like it was any of her business when I do my lessons with the time I have with my permit. She also commented that I had a "Bad look on my face" and "if I was okay" after having this rude tone with me and making comments about my timing for taking my behind-the-wheel training being off before we got into the car! This was very inappropriate and rude to say to a teenager! As a woman myself, I did not appreciate another woman being so rude, especially to a new driver.

For some reason he gave me a phone number to send my driving permit to, because he was insisting he could get me an appointment for the Glendale one. It's been a few days and no update, no plan for the behind the wheel test no NOTHING! I texted him to see what was gonna happen and it seems he has ghosted me or something. Be careful with these people and book with Royals driving school better, don't waste your time. They reply quick and won't have you anxious for your test.

For context, my mom's NEVER worked out in her life before. I also had surgeries (most recently October 2025) and have been unable to exercise since 2024. We took Christina's class on a Saturday morning and it was everything and more than we expected. Vera also assisted Christina, and they provided such an open and inviting environment. We were out of our comfort zones, but we were guided and felt safe throughout the whole way. It's silly, but I'm scared of heights (and falling) and genuinely thought that I wasn't going to be able to have my feet leave the ground. Vera and Christina's knowledge and warmth quickly disarmed my fears. I was still holding back, but I knew that we were secure and in good hands. Also, in my opinion, this was a GREAT beginners workout. My mom and I are not in the best shape, but Christina also educated us about modifications to the movements we were doing and the whole experience was accessible and inclusive. For the first time in such a long time, I was able to actually work out without having any complications after the fact. The videos make it look easy, but you're definitely still getting a workout. I also want to recognize how they were always engaging and attentive to our needs. At some point, my mom did have to take a break and step out, but Christina and Vera checked on her during and after class. Also, they airdropped us some class footage for free, which we appreciated. To call the experience welcoming would be such an understatement. It was our first time, but Christina and Vera were approachable and really made our experience unforgettable.
