Great experience: booked for their behind the wheel drive test service and was spot on from start to finish (...and I passed first time with no errors thanks to their pointers!). Diondre (the owner) picked me up at home right on time, walked me through what I needed for the test including a run through near the DMV (so invaluable), took me through the DMV smoothly - and using their car for the test itself saved so much hassle. Friendly, considerate, great advice (and made what could have been a stressful experience so much better - plus you can't argue with a smooth pass!). Highly recommend PS I've driven all my life but never with a California licence. The experience was good. My sibling enjoyed the class and the instructors were both patient. I really enjoyed the easy communication with the owner. Booking was easy too as he offered multiple dates/times. Kinda pricey but because I am frugal. I went off the positive reviews and turns out we can add one too. Diondre is amazing! He is detailed and thorough in his instruction. He arrived on time for each lesson, has a calm and positive attitude, and took time to talk after the lesson with me about what they worked on. Great lessons, but everything else is MISLEADING. Money back policy, pass guarantee, all of it. Instructor said I have an 85% chance of passing, but here I am 2 driving test attempts later and I still don't have my license. Also calling them for more lessons didn't do anything, and I STILL have not heard back from anyone about it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

First of all, Diondre was very responsive and professional. So when I complained about the behavior of one of his drivers, Josue Depaz, he offered to refund me in full right away. It was my son's first driving lesson and he was both nervous and excited. Josue arrived ten minutes late, then said it was my fault because I live in the middle of nowhere. I live off of Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd, and with google maps it gives you both an ETA and perfect directions to my house. He went on to call me "sweetheart", so chauvinistic, then changed it to ma'am once I brought that to his attention. Amid the eye rolling, hand in my face and facial expressions he was making when trying to make sure that I knew he was in charge, I regretted selecting this school as my son's first driving experience. Yet, my son was still excited to learn to drive. Josue ask him to get his permit and once he returned, he said you know what? I am canceling this lesson. Simply because I asked him if we get a credit or if the lesson would last a little longer because he was late. He said that he has been working for this company for a year and never had a complaint before...perhaps that is true. Yet, Josue's attitude was rude, unprofessional and I definitely would not feel like my son was safe with him as an instructor. read more

My daughter walked in to her driving exam with absolutely no fear, and that's thanks to Diondre and his teaching style. We're talking about a girl who deals with extremely high anxiety. It was so hard to get her to take the first lesson, but as soon as she got home, she was determined to practice and looking forward to her next lesson. He is wonderful about communication and even sends an email of the things they learned that day and any places that need more practice. His cars are safe and clean and all safety precautions are followed. This is my third child to take driving lessons, and I wish the other two had gone to APDEDS. They are really fantastic, I got a package of lessons and dmv test time for my nephew moved in with me because I work multiple jobs and just didn't have the time to do practice drives with him. It was so convenient having them come and pick him up and do the whole process with him. He hasn't taken the DMV test yet but they did schedule that for him as well to take it in the vehicle he's been practicing in. He liked all the driver's that he worked with as well. He accidentally forgot his session and missed the call that they arrived (totally his fault not their's) but they were really wonderful getting the sessions rescheduled.
