She had some bad habits, like we all do, but he repeatedly told her she had all of the skill and ability- she just needed to believe in herself. If you are looking for a good driving school, this is not good for your kid. You want your kid to be safe and learn properly. 1. Shawn is the owner and only instructor of this horrible 'school.' He is unorganized with his schedule and communication. Initially we set up a weekly time for my son. After the first lesson, he forgot that we set it up for a regular time, he forgot that we paid for 6 sessions, not 3. He literally said "Im too busy, I don't remember, I'm talking to 100 people a day." If he is that busy to provide his service, he shouldn't take on so many clients. 2. He takes too many students. Due to many students, he is in a rush and does not give the full 2 hour lesson that you pay for. For 3 straight lessons, he never once gave the full 2 hours. He scheduled us at 3 pm but just showed up at 2:15 pm (?) and dropped my son at 3:55 pm. That's 1.5 hours or less of 'instruction,' which included taking my son to Costco gas station, telling him to "hurry up, drive faster", with Shawn driving back to drop my son in a hurry. We paid for the lesson. How can the instructor drive to drop the student, so Shawn can rush to the next student. 3. Shawn turned on the music very loud and takes personal calls. He did not pay attention to his student. It is unsafe and bad instruction. Shawn had good review in the past but he is a bad instructor right now. Last year, he could not teach any students in covid pandemic. I understand that he lost money and he wants to make money, but now he has overbooked himself and is not providing a decent service. I don't think he should be greedy and not care about his reputation and safety. read more

This is one of the worse experiences I had with this school. My kid took the training from the same driving school and attended the test from the same school, after multiple attempts she was able to hardly make it. The training is not up to mark and the feedback on the testing is inadequate and unjustifiable. They have lot of issues with the training course. 1. Driving Schedules are not open. They open the driving schedules on Monday night and there are only limited slots and they booked within 5 minutes. 2. The Driving Test instructions are pretty poor and they don't teach everything they will be testing on the road. 3. Class room makeup times are not flexible. If the kid misses a class it is very difficult to make up for that class. 4. Everything costs - Every time you take test and any additional help you need from them costs money. 5. Unfriendly Staff- I raised my concerns with them during the test and they are supposed to reach me to sort out but no one reached me till date. I had to spend ton of time to drive with my kid to bring her up to speed. In one way I won't recommend this school. I would recommend explore different alternatives before considering this school. read more

Absolutely the most horrific experience of my life. I had to get out of the car. The guy, Sean/Shawn... was crazy and rude. He picked me up with another student in the car and I told him that I wasn't comfortable with two men I didn't know in the car. I already waited for him 15 minutes outside in the 90+ degree sun. RE: the other student-- he said that that was how they did it here that I had to drive that student home. I had booked a lesson specifically to do freeway driving as I am a licensed and experienced driver from out of state and hadn't had to drive many freeways before, so I said but my lesson is for freeways and he said that this just how it's done and I had to take local roads to drive this other adult man home. Then after this drive is ready taking 15 minutes, he is barely looking at my driving, he isn't giving me directions, having me make lane changes and turns at the last minute. He asked, if I wanted to corrections on my driving and I said no not while there was another student in the car and no because I drive just fine on roads that aren't 5 line highways. He tells me I turn horribly- which isn't how you give feedback anyway even if it were true (I am a Master's level certified teacher so trust me I know how teaching works). I told him I was uncomfortable with this and I was already a fine driver when I had directions to where I was headed. Then he said OK I won't charge you I'll just drive you home after we drop him off. So he is basically starting a fight with me with another person in the car and me behind the wheel which is dangerous. He's like telling me that this is just how it is and I said that's OK and I pulled over and got out and told him I was done and took a cab home. Now I am scared to drive here because of this experience and scared to even look for a new school. This guy is a con artist and is doing illegal things. I am reporting the the better business b. and reporting to cops. Also as per yelp- this will get posted to the bottom of the reviews as not recommended but this experience isn't THAT different from what others in the not recommended section have posted so I hope you read all the reviews. read more

He does have experience as a Driving proctor for the test so he knows what he's talking about. At first, I was nervous to start behind the wheel but with his instruction I felt more and more confident about my own skills. I would make mistakes but he's quick on the wheel and will give a reasonable explanation to correct that. I would not recommend this school. It is operated by one person who is the instructor. Because of this, my child said he was constantly on the phone during the lessons. He talked extremely loud to the students and had talk radio stations on during lessons. I don' t have a problem with that. It's just that there are so many distractions going on, how are they supposed to be properly instructed?? The instructor is pleasant enough on the phone, but not so much to the students. In spite of this, we made the mistake of signing up for another lesson. During this one, the instructor had my child do some driving that was not part of the lesson we signed up for and it took almost an hour out of the lesson time. While my child was driving, for the first time in this situation mind you, he grabbed the wheel and pulled the car into another lane right in front of another vehicle that he obviously didn't see. For all of these reasons and more that I won't go into, I would not recommend this school to anyone...ever. read more
