We bought a 6 pack of 2 hour lessons for our 17 year old. She was picked up at her school and the session ended at our home. The price is reasonable. Xochi was wonderful with our daughter, who was completely new to driving. This instructor risked her life for a novice, and for that I am grateful! In 6 lessons, our daughter learned so much! While she failed the driving test, it had nothing to do with the instruction she was given. For some people, it takes a while for all the info to sink in. In busy city traffic, defensive driving will take more practice. We'll be purchasing another session pack soon. Thanks for your patience Xochi! read more

They taught me how to drive. I thought it was cool they had a mustang that they let you learn on.

I was really nervous about first learning to drive, but Darryl really helped me become more confident on the road and though I haven't taken the driving test yet, I feel comfortable driving with my parents and believe that I will pass the test. The price was also unbeatable for the quality of lessons. read more

The absolute best!! Darryl was so kind and patient. He was able to explain to the simplest details. His energy was very reassuring. Everything went smoothly from booking the driving practice to booking the test. He makes sure to go over everything that will be on the test. I passed on the first try. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. read more

I am adding to my review of November 22, 2024. I passed my vision driving test at the DMV in December thanks to driving instructor Daryl Richardson at the Easy AS 1,2,3 school. I did not think I needed lessons but as it turned out I did. You need to know the details you are marked. The DMV is very specific. My advice... take lessons at 1,2,3 its worth it. read more

After the first 2 hours of driving practice and instruction with Darryl, my 15.5 year old son said "He is an excellent teacher. He taught me everything!" He learned how to - park between 2 cars, drive safely and confidently in different types of traffic with different speed limits, and so much more! Thank you Darryl for making my son's first driving experience so positive and fruitful! We are grateful to have met you! Can't wait to share your number with my friends! read more

Called Darryl on a Tuesday, and my son had his certification of completion the following Wednesday! My son is homeschooled so he was flexible with the hours so I don't think the turn around will be a common experience for most. But Darryl was flexible in scheduling and he's a great instructor. Would highly recommend Easy as 123 Driving School because it really was easy as 123 for us! read more

Just completed 12 hours with this driving school and what I can say is that, it is by far the best practice I've gotten. I came to Darryl with no driving experience what do ever and what I can say now after having him and being able to use the skills I learned from him to practice at home. Is that I can now navigate around and about the streets safely and correctly. I feel very confident with the dmv test I will be taking in a few days thanks to Darryl . I highly recommend this school to anyone who is wanting to drive! read more

I was always terrified of driving and was having an especially difficult time getting in the car with my parents because they heightened my fear. Earlier this year I finally decided enough was enough and I needed to get lessons. I'm so glad I went with Darryl! You can't beat his prices and he's a wonderful teacher. I purchased his 5 class/10 hour package and it was certainly worth the price. Darryl put me at ease and gave me great confidence in myself and in my skills. We were on the freeway on day two! Taking lessons with Darryl really helped me fight my anxiety and after our lessons I even felt more comfortable practicing with my dad. All this to say, I finally got my license! And I got it on the first try. I know that wouldn't have been possible without Darryl. I can't recommend him enough! read more

My daughter passed her DMV driving lesson after driving with Darrel for 6 hours. She was nervous and had very little driving experience but Darrel put her at ease and she was driving on the freeway like a champ on the first lesson. I highly recommend Darrell. I honestly called several driving schools to schedule driving lesson's for my cousin (she is a bit inept to even do that) and if there's something I don't like, I'd rather not do business with that person. One day my cousin comes to me saying that a lot of her classmates from El Camino High had gone to this driving school and I thought "Whaaat? Rich kids going to this Easy As 1,2,3 Driving School" I told her, nope, it's going to be expensive and it has bad reviews!! She said "Please, please call them." Fine! All hesitant and all moody, I called (sorry, but I was expecting the worse) but my mood changed when I heard the man on the other side of the phone being all polite, professional and friendly! That & the Great Prices SOLD ME! I booked my cousin for her driver's classes and guess what?!! My cousin already passed her driving test and got her license!!! YAY!! I guess, she is not as dumb as I thought LOL. Nah, I'm still thinking, her driving instructor made a huge impact, because she would really drive up the curve every freaking TIME! I gave up on her, I had no patience for that but Darryl, her instructor, was very patient and funny too. Seriously, this is as good as it gets! I'm very surprised about these "ghosts reviews" I'm a true yelper and I don't create accounts just to leave negative reviews. read more

Just finished my 6 hour driving training today! Next stop, Drivers License! I came in being terrified of driving and just felt like I was going to crash into anything and everything but came out feeling much more at ease behind the wheel. Darrell is a very patient and calm driving instructor which was exactly what I needed. He always arrived on time and picked me up where ever I needed to be picked up. We drove in almost every scenario I could think of. He also happen to give me some practice at talking while driving which was another thing I was TERRIFIED of. Overall this driving school tops everybody else's price in LA County and the quality of the service is great. I definitely recommend this school to anybody who needs driving lessons and is scared of cars. Trust me you will be fine! UPDATE : Got my license on the first try! Recommended this school to my brother and after his driving lessons, he passed too! Thanks Darrell (: read more

Wow! Darryl made driving so easy and comfortable. I was honestly super nervous to start my lessons just because the idea of driving was so nerve-racking and the thought of a stranger critiquing me made it even worse. However, Darryl made me look forward to my lessons and to getting my license. Such a friendly and comforting environment and I can say that I passed my drivers test today with the great help from him. Not to mention the price is so much more affordable than the other driving schools and you get a more personalized experience as well. 1000% recommend, thanks again!! read more

Finished my 10 hour training yesterday and I am very happy with the service. Sir Darryl is very professional and friendly. He arrives on time and teach me a lot every session making sure I get my penny's worth. He taught me tips that even my husband never thought of. He never made me feel intimidated. He corrected my mistakes in a friendly manner and it helped build up my confidence behind the wheel. I was happy too that he took me to the freeway and in the canyons during my sessions. Words are not enough to say how thankful I am that found this driving and how much it helped me. Next stop will be getting my license after 6 learning permits. More power Sir Darryl and I hope you can help more student drivers like me. read more

Don't go anywhere else! This is the best driving school there is! Even though it took me a while to write an update, I just want to say I got my money's worth. I got my driver's license two months ago and I passed the very FIRST time! I hardly missed any! I just want to thank this school for being flexible, affordable, understanding, and fun. It doesn't matter how many times you take a class, you will learn something every single session. Most importantly I learned how to be a safe driver in the city of LA, where I feel 90% of the people drive crazy! Like I said before; go to Easy as 1,2,3 Driving School! Its worth it. And don't even bother reading the bad reviews. How can you leave a review if you never took the class! read more

Darryl is simply amazing. I had a really bad experience with a driving instructor when I was 17, which made me terrified of getting back into a car for many years. Darryl was so calm, patient, and easy-going, which all helped me overcome my fears of driving. His instructions were clear and he allowed me to learn at my own pace. You won't regret learning with this man, believe me! I passed my behind the wheel test on my first try!! THANK YOU DARRYL! read more
