We were all a little nervous at first, but the team made us feel so comfortable and supported every step of the way. Soooo this was such a fun workout class! It was different, because we were on harnesses and bungee cords. This allowed us to combine cardio and aerial type workouts. The instructor was patient; accommodating; helpful; and high / positive energy. The studio is clean and spacious with one restroom and caddy storage. My mom was getting bungee reels on her Facebook and asked me to find a class for her. We were fortunate that this location was close to us and had beginner classes. For context, my mom's NEVER worked out in her life before. I also had surgeries (most recently October 2025) and have been unable to exercise since 2024. We took Christina's class on a Saturday morning and it was everything and more than we expected. Vera also assisted Christina, and they provided such an open and inviting environment. We were out of our comfort zones, but we were guided and felt safe throughout the whole way. It's silly, but I'm scared of heights (and falling) and genuinely thought that I wasn't going to be able to have my feet leave the ground. Vera and Christina's knowledge and warmth quickly disarmed my fears. I was still holding back, but I knew that we were secure and in good hands. Also, in my opinion, this was a GREAT beginners workout. My mom and I are not in the best shape, but Christina also educated us about modifications to the movements we were doing and the whole experience was accessible and inclusive. For the first time in such a long time, I was able to actually work out without having any complications after the fact. The videos make it look easy, but you're definitely still getting a workout. I also want to recognize how they were always engaging and attentive to our needs. At some point, my mom did have to take a break and step out, but Christina and Vera checked on her during and after class. Also, they airdropped us some class footage for free, which we appreciated. To call the experience welcoming would be such an understatement. It was our first time, but Christina and Vera were approachable and really made our experience unforgettable. I took an amazing class here with Livier here on a Monday morning. When I arrived, there was ample parking in their lot as well as street parking, and the standalone building was easy to find. The studio is very spacious and there are plenty of silks to choose from! I also love the vibe and ambiance and despite it being morning, the lights were dimmed with some light up candles placed throughout to add a lovely relaxation. The class started more mellow with a variety of aerial yoga and stretching poses and then turned to a bit more strengthening and then incorporated a few tricks. I loved how the teacher really talked us through everything and offered assistance when needed. It had been about a year since I had taken a silks class, so my body felt a little rusty but once I got in the hammock and got my body moving through a flow, I felt myself really getting used to it! The class is also geared for all levels, so you can push yourself to go harder or modify as needed! The teacher was amazing and after class allowed us to play around on the silks since the class after us had been canceled. We were able to try out some other tricks and film it. The studio is so clean and gorgeous, I really felt at home there! I cannot wait to return again and highly recommend this studio to aerial lovers and the aerial curious! read more

So much fun! The owner Cassandra was super warm and encouraging. She takes pictures and videos for you and can air drop them to you. The instructor Christina was fantastic. Very engaging and accommodating to all fitness levels. I NEVER exercise and have no desire to sweat and this was definitely the most fun I've had "exercising". I attended a private group class with women of different ages, body types, and ethnic backgrounds, and the environment was incredibly welcoming and inclusive. The owner, Christina, and her assistant went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the class. They were attentive, encouraging, and made sure everyone stayed hydrated. All of the movements were accessible, and modifications were provided when needed, which made the class enjoyable for everyone. The workout itself was intense but low impact. I personally loved being able to get a challenging workout without putting stress on my joints. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. So much fun! I took the Bungee Fitness Level One class with Pamela Kay and she is such a sweet and supportive instructor. I felt very comfortable doing all of the moves. It was a bit challenging with the cord resistance at first, but then it got easier as we went along. The space was very welcoming and she encouraged us to have fun and be silly, which we all did. The music was great to dance to and she really explained everything well and went at a pace that was easy to understand. It was definitely a fun workout and I look forward to going back. read more

I've been trying the class pass trial these past two weeks which allows me to sign up for a class and try it out. Last week I had selected the 6 AM class as that was before my work schedule and was so excited to try this class because my brother recommended it. The evening before I received an email informing me that the class was going to be cancel because not enough people signed up which was disappointing. So class pass gave me my credits back and I signed up for the class again for today at 5:45 PM. This morning I received a text message informing me the class was potentially going to be cancelled due to not enough people signed up for the class....yet again. Both times I was offered to do classes that did not fit the time frame that I had selected. Nowhere on class pass NOR their actual website does it state how many people are required for the class to actually occur. I was told via text they need a minimum of 4 people to cover the expenses of the instructors and that I should just get my friends to go so the class can go on. As well I was told that this is how it works for most studios in LA (which is not information that would change my mind). Then I was asked to pay for a 1-1 session for $125. I'm using the free trial of class pass...so why would I pay for a 1-1 session? I was also asked to promote the business to my friends so that the studio could keep the classes on the schedule. Unsure what I should be recommending to my friends since the two times I as a potential new customer wanted to attend a class, I was informed the classes weren't going to happen. So, what I do recommend is that the studio communicates clearly on their website and class pass the minimum number of students required for the class to occur and subject to cancel if minimum is not met. read more

This was my first time at AFB and my first time doing this type of workout, here's the breakdown: PARKING On the premises, enough spots to accommodate participants in each class. MANAGEMENT This is a woman-owned small business, so if you're the type to talk the talk about empowerment and the importance of driving the American economy, then you have all the more reason to show up and give this gym a shot. The owner, Cassandra, is incredibly kind and welcoming. THE GYM SPACE This is a newly-renovated/retrofitted space--there's plenty of room for people to move and get acclimated. Everything is clean, and there are cubbies to put your belongings before the workout. WORKOUT/INSTRUCTORS When you arrive, you fill out the standard liability waiver. Once you're strapped into the harness, the instructors take time to make sure you're comfortable. If you've never done something like this before, it's recommended to wear sneakers with solid grip. If you're a dude, consider wearing an additional pair of athletic shorts under your sweat or track pants. The instructors understand some folks may be coming to the gym with, perhaps, little to no experience with the workout--that was me. I was in a basic beginner class and the instructor couldn't have been more helpful or encouraging. She went over each routine, which lasts about the length of a pop song--so roughly 3-5 minutes, depending--and you definitely work up a sweat quickly. Bring your water bottle. Overall, 5 outta 5-star experience at AFB. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for a different kind of workout or HIIT-style aerobics. read more

She was so patient with us and let us take breaks if we got too tired so I appreciated that as well.
