Nevertheless, the instructor made everyone feel comfortable during this experience. We went well over an hour, but it was a blast! I would highly recommend doing a pole party for a birthday or a get together! If I was closer to this studio, I'd definitely come back.

I can't say enough good things about this place. In my opinion, it's one of the best studios in LA. The instructors are amazing, and the management and staff are genuinely kind, professional, and supportive. One thing I really appreciate is how clean the studio is. They ask everyone to remove their shoes at the door, which shows how much they respect the space and the dancers. I've been to studios where people walk around in regular shoes on floors you're expected to dance on, and it just doesn't feel right. Here, you can tell they take pride in keeping the environment clean and safe. You can truly feel the difference when a studio values the people walking through their doors. It makes me want to keep coming back every time.

A more accurate rating would be 3.5 stars. I found this…read moreplace through Groupon and I have generally positive feelings about it. Pros: The studio itself is gorgeous. Sexily candlelit with crystals glistening in every corner, it's very zen. There are no mirrors, which is good if you're self conscious. The pole classes are basically half Pilates and half pole. The Pilates half is very well run, and there's an emphasis on being "in" your body and out of your head so you can connect to your own sensuality. It has a meditative quality to it which is unique and lovely. It differs from your traditional pole dancing studio in a lot of ways- there's a lot of New Age elements and other classes centered around soul searchy meditatey things, which is wonderful if you're inclined toward that kind of thing. They have a slowly growing boutique in the front with (somewhat overpriced) CDs, crystals, supplements, sage, and artwork for sale, along with some clothing. I happen to like the New Age approach, but it's definitely not for everyone. Cons: This is a relatively new business, and it shows. They've made a lot of changes in scheduling and such over the couple of months I've been here. It seems to still be in flux as they drop and add new classes and tweak the website. They stopped using the Mind Body service for scheduling, which makes it more difficult to cancel/reschedule classes. They push a membership package which is 150 a month for unlimited pole classes, but it doesn't include any of the other classes or workshops (meditation, sensual awakening, hula hoop, etc.) Pole is only offered on Mondays and Wednesday nights, so if neither of those times work for you, tough tits and the membership is not a good investment. I also have similar concerns as I do about the Cirque School I previously reviewed. The pole classes are not structured by level, so the skill level in the class varies wildly from person to person. They take an "individualized" approach, which I find really doesn't work as well as having a class with people who are more or less at the same skill level. It's better in concept than in practice. As a perfectionist and a beginner who's hard on herself, it can be intimidating and discouraging. In my first class, which was also the first pole class I'd ever taken, the other two girls were experienced aerialists. Great. Also- the lack of mirrors does make it harder to observe and correct your form, even though it's freeing in other ways. There are no crash mats, so it's a little disorienting and scary when you're in the dark with no mirrors and can't see what you're doing. I actually really injured a tendon in my leg during a class here, pushing myself too hard to keep up with the more advanced polers. I feel, personally, a little unsafe during the pole portion. I would say give this place a shot, but I wouldn't recommend taking your very first pole class here, especially if you're nervous. Once this place finds its footing, and I'm hoping more time and clarity of business concept will reflect in the structure of its pole classes, my opinion might change.

People wear what they're comfortable in, which ranges from leggings to underwear. The more advanced the class, the more skin needed to grip the pole so undergarments are best. However, my beginner experience was totally user friendly and I'll definitely be back! This shit is hard and there is a learning curve so commit for a few months if you're actually interested. For me, the most challenging thing was remembering the choreography but I'm guessing that improves with time as well.

Yelp Version (Documented + Legally Safe)…read more Unsafe and Unqualified -- Screenshots Tell the Story I've spent years rebuilding my confidence after trauma, and movement has been part of my healing. I signed up for this class believing it would be a safe space for women to reconnect with strength and self-esteem. Instead, I was blindsided by judgment and dismissal from the instructor, Amy. Below are her exact words from our text exchange (screenshots attached): "You don't really seem to be in a good headspace, so I'd rather you come when we can communicate better." No conversation. No context. No compassion. She refunded me immediately and refused to answer the phone. This woman is not a licensed therapist, yet she made a clinical-sounding judgment about my "headspace" based on a few texts. That's not care -- that's discrimination. It's emotionally reckless, and it caused real harm. What's most painful is that I was proud of myself for showing up. I've been doing the work -- therapy, sobriety, healing -- and taking this class was a big, vulnerable step. To be told I was "unfit" by someone without qualifications was retraumatizing. Amy's lack of communication and empathy proves she is not trauma-informed and should not be running a class that markets itself as "healing." If you're a woman seeking empowerment through movement, protect yourself and look elsewhere. You deserve teachers who listen, who care, and who don't play therapist when they're not one. This experience was painful, invalidating, and a reminder that unqualified people can do real harm under the guise of "help." Women like me are working hard to heal. We deserve better. when things like this happen. . Speak up. Show receipts. Protect your peace. When I started looking into pole dancing/fitness at the time, I came across Allure. I was very excited to find a fun way to exercise and take the edge off of stressful work. I would take a minimum of 3 classes a week. I also trained a bit of MMA so mixing it up with pole dancing was a great combination for me. I started as a beginner and was working my way up. The employees were amazing, friendly and fun. They always made sure that everybody was doing good and comfortable with the next step. They would always compliment me on how quickly I would learn and how well I could move. One of the ladies there even said that I should work for them teaching the beginners class, which I would have been up to. Unfortunately, I moved away and I just never could find a place like this again. To makes matters worse for myself, I moved again and live in a small town that doesn't offer it, a bit closed minded as well. If I was as good as the instructors, i would open one here! If I ever was to move back to LA, this is the place I would definitely sign up for again. I highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, sexy and different approach to fitness.

For context, my mom's NEVER worked out in her life before. I also had surgeries (most recently October 2025) and have been unable to exercise since 2024. We took Christina's class on a Saturday morning and it was everything and more than we expected. Vera also assisted Christina, and they provided such an open and inviting environment. We were out of our comfort zones, but we were guided and felt safe throughout the whole way. It's silly, but I'm scared of heights (and falling) and genuinely thought that I wasn't going to be able to have my feet leave the ground. Vera and Christina's knowledge and warmth quickly disarmed my fears. I was still holding back, but I knew that we were secure and in good hands. Also, in my opinion, this was a GREAT beginners workout. My mom and I are not in the best shape, but Christina also educated us about modifications to the movements we were doing and the whole experience was accessible and inclusive. For the first time in such a long time, I was able to actually work out without having any complications after the fact. The videos make it look easy, but you're definitely still getting a workout. I also want to recognize how they were always engaging and attentive to our needs. At some point, my mom did have to take a break and step out, but Christina and Vera checked on her during and after class. Also, they airdropped us some class footage for free, which we appreciated. To call the experience welcoming would be such an understatement. It was our first time, but Christina and Vera were approachable and really made our experience unforgettable. Looking forward to take more classes!
