From the moment my boyfriend and I called to check for an appointment to the end of our mani pedi's every single detail was AMAZING!! We highly recommend Relaxation Spa for a truly relaxing experience! Everything was perfect. We loved it!! read more

This spa charged $90 for the worst facial I've ever had. (10 minute chair massage was fine) The owner pressured us to spend more time and money for services that were already superficial to begin with. If I could give it zero stars I would. read more

My fiancé and I went here the day after our engagement. We could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. They were extraordinarily accommodating to make our engagement even more special. My fiancé got a shellac French manicure which turned out beautiful and we both got the 30 minute Thai chair massage afterwards which was amazing! Emily and her crew really know what they are doing and I highly recommend you check them out. Plus their rates are very competitive for the island. read more

I had an amazing massage with Emily today! The thai body work is unbeatable and helped relieve my muscle tightness and aided in relaxation. I came out feeling refreshed and muscles loose! My sister had a massage with Kim as well and loved it. Great place!!! read more

WORST PEDICURE EVER! First off, this is NOT Spa; it's a storefront in a strip center. There are no comfy spa chairs, no foot massage/whirlpool baths for your feet. Just wooden chairs and a plastic "foot tub" that doesn't even have running water. I was told this was an Asian pedicure! The "spa" doesn't have a restroom either; if you need one, you must exit through the back door and walk down the hall to a common restroom. My $70.00 pedicure consisted of soaking my feet in scorching hot water that quickly became Luke-warm, unevenly clipped nails, scrapping of two small calloused areas with the BLADE edge of CUTICLE nippers (I asked her to please stop!), a 5 second foot massage, followed by horrible polish application. As you can see in the photo, the pedicurist also CUT the skin on my middle toe, there is still sand/dirt around my big toe, and only about 2/3 of my baby toe was polished, and there are several areas where polish is on my skin. If all that isn't enough, my pedicurist's cell phone is also the Spa's phone, she answered multiple calls during my pedi, even returning a call that she missed. BTW, the positive reviews here are obviously not from actual customers, as the other 2 clients in the salon seemed as unhappy as me. LASTLY, the PHOTOS posted on YELP were not taken at the spa! read more

Relaxation Spa - Pedi - Massage Near Me - Edgartown, Massachusetts

This is a really nice spa. I came in for an impromptu manicure and got a lovely back massage from the owner. We returned the next day for foot reflexology and a chair massage. Both were terrific, better than my most recent massage experience. I would definitely recommend their massages and reflexology. The staff is very friendly and the spa is very clean. read more

Another year and another great experience at Relaxation spa!! I look forward to this vacation every year specifically for the massages at Relaxation Spa. My boyfriend and I each got one and could not stop talking about how much better we felt after!! I came back the next day for a mani pedi :) Truly can't recommend this place enough. read more

We were visiting edgartown for a weekend and I was in desperate need for a massage. I found this spa on Yelp and it did not disappoint! Efficient and great chair massage for half the money of other spas I've been to. Totally worth it! read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this place! The only negative I have is that I didn't find this place sooner in my stay on the Vineyard! Emily was wonderful! And by far the best massage I have every had! Don't hesitate and book your appointment now. read more

I wish I could leave a million stars! Dominique and Emily made my boyfriend and I feel right at home. The customer service was amazing, the conversations were so fun - the entire experience was so special. We will be coming back to Relaxation Spa every time we're back on the Vinyard! read more

Kim was my massage therapist. I received a combo massage. My back had been in pain for years and after this massage I was actually able to sit up directly on the table as well as lay flat on my back. Nothing short of a miracle. read more

I just had a lovely massage, manicure and pedicure. Emily is very accommodating and Laurie was an excellent masseuse. I am very happy with my experience and appreciate the fabulous service. Well worth the time to pamper yourself. read more

My friend and I went to Relaxation Spa for massages while we were on vacation in Edgartown in July. I cannot rave enough about the massages that we received. Emily, the owner, was fantastic. She did a combination of a deep tissue massage along with reflexology and always asked me if she was going too deep or too soft to make sure I was comfortable - but still getting the benefit of the treatment. I went in with terrible neck and back pain and came out feeling so much better and very relaxed. My friend had a different masseuse (cannot remember her name) and was melting when her treatment was over. The spa is located very close to the center of Edgartown, is very lovely and worth traveling to if you are coming from a distance. I highly recommend Relaxation Spa and plan on returning when I am back in the Vineyard. Jill G. read more

You might as well be a a used car sales lot. When it was time to pay all of a sudden their was a processing fee because they could not get their payment process to work. During the massage the they kept saying we need to come back for more. It was like a continuous sales pitch. read more

Different experience then your typical walk in nail salon. Emily is very pleasant and attentive. We had a lovely chair massage while we waited for our gel nails to soak for removal. Interested in going back for a combo Thai/yoga massage. read more

Very disappointed in the booking/communication. Booked a couples message, was asked to reschedule multiple times. Morning of the message was asked to come in earlier then 2 hours before my appointment it was canceled. Was offered a discount to reschedule but only if we came in at different times.... Not the point of a couple's message. read more

Amazing service!!!!! Would recommend to friends and family. Massage, mani, pedi are 10/10. They also offer Botox and filler with their partnership with D&K Aesthetics! read more

Finishing off our birthday spa day, and it was a major success! The owner was super attentive and kind and genuinely hoped we had a "relaxing" experience. Four people out of our group received pedicures and one had manicure. Everyone walked out super happy and staisfied. Prices are a bit steep, but it was totally worth it. If we are ever back on the vineyard, we will definitely be right back!!! read more

Relaxation Spa - The pedicures! - Massage Near Me - Edgartown, Massachusetts

We called to check if there was availability and as soon as we walked in after getting the okay, two manicurists were waiting for us, which was great. However, the atmosphere appeared to be nothing like the ordinary nail salon. The place for manicures was essentially a long wood kitchen table with wood chairs (a little too short for the tables height) sitting across it. The pedicure station was basically a bucket and chair. When getting gel off I was WAY overcharged and for a basic manicure I ended up paying much more than I wanted. Limited polish supply. My nails ended up looking like they were painted by a two year old and my cuticles were sore from getting pushed and clipped to hard. And to finish it off, there were no nail dryers. My whole experience was NOT worth the $55 I spent. read more

Worst massage ever. Was really disappointed they did not even give me 75 minutes and it was so expensive.

Wonderful!! Emily cured my back spasm in 10 minutes. Incredible massage topped off with a flawless pedicure. So relaxing

Went for a mani-pedi with my best friend at Relaxation Spa. My friend chose this place because they mention on their website all their measures towards sanitation: tools go through an autoclave, foot soak buckets have a one-use disposable liner, etc. She's a Type1 diabetic, so she's pretty picky about that kind of thing. The spa is small, but it was easy to get an appointment. Reflexology foot rub was great. I was impressed by their selection of non-formaldehyde nail polishes. Would definitely recommend it. read more

Relaxation Spa - Lve relaxation spa. Emily so nice as are Claire and Sean. Had mani/pedi reflexology too!! I'll be back. - Massage Near Me - Edgartown, Massachusetts

Emily and Claire were professional, attentive and provided incredible massages to my wife and me. We live in Washington, DC and have gotten massages all over the world, but few if any as good as these. Highly recommend! read more

Emily, the owner, was amazing! She asked lots of questions upfront to understand what my body needed. I walked in with a problem with my rotator cuff and had very little range of motion. By the time I left, I had full range of motion. She worked out every knot in my neck and shoulders. I can't wait for her to come back to Boston so I can continue my treatments off island. read more

I loved the feeling of being welcomed into this space. Emily talked to me like a friend and joked with me like a friend as she did my nails. She did an amazing job and I don't have much in the way of nails to work with! I have been back home from my vacation for several weeks and they still look great! I don't know what I'm going to do because I'm in Portland Oregon and you dear Emily are in Edgartown Massachusetts! I highly recommend Relaxation Spa and I will be back! read more

I've never felt angry/disappointed enough with a service to post a negative review, however the experience I just had at Relaxation Spa is worth documenting. We arrived in Martha's Vineyard today and it was raining. I called around 10am to make an appointment for my daughter and I (she's 3) for manicures/pedicures, as the website indicated they do "Little Misses" (9 and under). I'm fairly certain I said she was 3. Anyway, we arrive on time and one other customer was finishing up. There was one woman working as far as I knew (Claire). Claire was wonderful with my daughter, very careful with her little toes and fingers. She recommended we hold off on painting her nails to avoid messing them up if she was going to stay with me, which I agreed was a good idea. She then began my toes. At one point, my daughter ran from her chair to where my husband was waiting at the front of the business. Out of nowhere/from behind me came a woman (the owner, I believe) asking me to ask my daughter not to run as she was doing a massage. Which of course I did and my daughter complied, for a few minutes (she's a toddler!). A few minutes later she got up and ran to her father again. The woman comes out again and starts to tell me to tell my daughter not to run. THEN she took it upon herself to tell my daughter not to run. I told her not to directly address my daughter and I would speak to her. I asked Claire to finish cutting my toenails so that we could leave. My husband picked my daughter up and of course she began to cry as they left because she was so looking forward to painting her nails. I Claire would not charge me for what she had done, which was very kind of her. I tipped her as I felt bad for what her boss had done. She did too. My daughter was not out of control by any means. If she was, I would not be leaving this review as I, like many parents, have had to leave places in the middle of a meltdown. Here's a tip: if the sound of normal toddler behavior will disturb a massage in progress, don't book a mother/daughter for services at the same time. read more

My friend and I went here on short notice for French tip gel manicures and pedicures. When we walked in for our appointment, we were the only ones there. We were helped right away. The spa appeared very clean and both ladies made sure every aspect of the mani/pedi was to our standards. I even got a callous treatment that made my feet feel so smooth! Even when other customers showed up for their massage, they didn't rush the rest of my appointment. Since it's on the island, expect island prices. Very thorough job and pleasant service. read more

Couldn't love this place more. 3 visits in one summer because of the service! Thank you emily & Claire - experienced, professional, friendly! read more

My wife and I called last minute while on vacation. Great walk-in service and reasonable prices. I would recommend this spa and will return.

I stopped in Relaxation Spa on the second to last day of our Edgartown, MV holiday. Emily, the owner, was super nice and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. She then did 1 h of reflexology with me. She knew what she was doing and was great with pressure and using a hardwood push stick to work problematic areas. She has multiple seats for pedicures and foot work as well as two massage rooms for full body work. Definitely make time for this when visiting Edgartown. read more

Really great place. I was initially unsure because they don't have the usual spa set up - pedicure chairs, dryers, etc. But what I got was much better. I had a pedicure, manicure, reflexology and a chair massage. All were excellent. I've been getting pedicures for years and this might have been the best. The owner did it and she really took the time to give me an excellent pedicure and talk to me about how important it was to use non-toxic polish, which they do. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

""Healing Hands that put me in VaCa mode and relived health issues"" Had a long trip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and my feet, back, neck and shoulders were full of knots. As I always do "Clicked TripAdvisor" for a recommendation of a Spa. As I walk through doors of a new Spa, I look for a place that makes me feel that it is clean, smells good, friendly, a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I went to 3 places, BUT!!! Wow! This 1 has it all & more! Here only a week and went 3 times. Each time, they understood the right pressure for me, they worked hard to relax my stressed out muscles and mind and. "And z'z'z'z'z' sorry fell asleep thinking about it where was I" A must is the Salt Foot Rub; my feet never looked or felt so great! The owner Emily and staff are trained, experienced and dedicated to helping you to relax away the soreness from your body. This gave me relieve from stress and health issues of my daily life which put me into a great Va-Ca mode. I feel their goal is to provide me with the best services and products that will leave me refreshed, feeling carefree, rejuvenated and spectacular. I was fortunate enough to find this great gem last weekend. I had the pleasure of enjoying a very relaxing massage by Emily. I have suffered from back pain for over 10 years and Emily gave me a deep tissue massage and I have been pain free since! Absolutely loved it here! Emily was so sweet, I went in for a pedi and mani and while she was doing my pedi it turned out I have a splinter under one of my nails. I was on a family vacation and had a big job interview immediately after vacation ended, and my nails were in sorry shape. It had been over 3 weeks since my last shellac manicure, so it was really growing out. Emily fixed my nails right up and they are now a nice, pale pink and interview ready. My mom also came with my and got a shellac manicure, and she only had nice things to say about Claire as well. The spa is tucked away and in a nice location. I was able to get an appointment the next day from when I called, and from what their schedule this summer looks like, they do tons of weddings too. The name says it all, this spa was very relaxing! read more

This place is the best! We were visiting Martha's Vineyard for my Birthday last weekend and I had called ahead to make an appointment for a 90 couples massage. A storm was coming so I called to change our appointment from last Sunday to that Saturday instead and they had no problem accommodating us. The stretches and massage were amazing. The owner and employees here treated my boyfriend and I like family, they were so personable and friendly it honestly made our stay so much better. Definitely will be back next year! read more
