It was a longer process but it came out better than acrylics. The powders are color so no need for polish or worry about nail color chipping off. I had to shape them to the almond style and they are a bit long for me while I work. But, I make it happen. Clean salon and I loved the kiddy chairs and especially the main pedi chairs for adults! The amber foot soaking sinks are just gorgeous! I would've rather had a pedi done, but since I have a new tattoo on my leg I didn't want to risk it. Now I just need to find a salon in Tampa that has the dipping powders. I felt bad though, my sister in law paid $18 for my nieces toenail polish. She didn't even have them clipped, all she asked for was to polish her toes. I'm pretty sure that should have cost $7 or $8 just for a kids polish.

Some are good, some are just okay, and some are absolutely over-the-top amazing. When you land one of the great ones, the experience is chef's kiss. One thing that is consistently excellent is the cleanliness of the salon. It is always spotless. There is a very kind gentleman who goes around with a homemade cleaning cart and resets each station almost immediately after a client gets up. He sanitizes everything thoroughly, which really gives peace of mind. Services come with a complimentary beverage, which is a nice touch. Options include water, soda, wine, and beer. The gentlemen who work at the front desk are also extremely friendly, flexible, and always in good spirits. They're easy to talk to and willing to work with you if you have questions or need accommodations. Pedicures are one of my favorite services here. I usually get the Volcano pedicure, which includes a warm, scented neck wrap such a relaxing detail. The massage chairs are great, and I appreciate that they use a timer for the massages, so you're never shorted on time. I do usually ask them to turn the water a bit warmer during pedicures; I think they keep it cooler by default to avoid burning, which I understand and appreciate. Manicures are also very well done. I like that most technicians have their own individual stations, which helps keep things organized and personal. Many technicians also have Venmo or Cash App QR codes at their stations for tipping. If not, you'll need to tip in cash so keep that in mind. There is a card fee if you pay with a card, but there is an ATM located to the left of the front desk if you'd rather pull out cash and save a little. They offer a wide range of colors, styles, and techniques, so whether you're going for something simple or something more detailed, there are plenty of options to choose from. Overall, this salon has become my go-to, and I plan to keep coming back. Technicians Bim - Absolutely wonderful and hands-down the best at nail designs that I've seen. If you're looking for detailed, creative work, Bim is a must-book. Megan (Eyebrows) - I go to Megan for my eyebrows every time. She is fantastic. She originally worked at another salon in Mechanicsville, and I was thrilled when she started working here. She's been doing my eyebrows since 2018, and I wouldn't trust anyone else.

There is not much to a regular manicure , so I will just state a few of my observations. This is an extremely busy nail salon on a Sunday morning. I was offered a beverage which I declined , but it looked as though many people were enjoying a variety of beverages, from canned diet pepsi to mimosas. It also appears as though they have some pretty fancy pedicure options.I saw some trays with flowers and a variety of other potions going by me on the way to the pedicure stations. It did not feel like a very relaxing environment, however. So if you are looking for that true "spa-like" environment, this might not be the place for you. Customers were talking on their cellphones and there was music playing and televisions on. Overall, the service was done quickly and efficiently and satisfactorily, so it suits the need. But was greeted when I walked in. They had by far the largest options of nail colors I have ever seen and it took me a while to decide. Which is great to have such a verity. They did great, did not rush and made sure all was well. I am usually hurt when I get solar nails done but was never hurt!!. I ended up feeling like they were too long and was able to get in right away and they took care of me and all my concerns. That is huge in my book! They are a bit pricey I feel but well worth it.
