Food was great. I had the crab soup which was tasty and loaded with crab. Then I had the crab balls. They were good also. We were given free garlic knots which were so good we placed another order. Two of my friends had chicken Ceasar salad. They got the small ones and it was huge with tons on chicken. My other friend got the small pasta and still had plenty for leftovers. The service was fine. But the cleanliness of the restaurant was the problem. There were about 4 teenagers working and kept walking by a piece of pizza on the floor. Under our table was a lot of food (not from us). Never saw anyone cleaning around the tables. Also just an fyi, not a judgement, there are bible verses on the wall and a bible in the bathroom. No alcohol either. read more

The chicken pot pie and the lasagna were good! My friend with the lasagna said the beef had good flavor. My alfredo was soooo much sauce about 1:1 sauce noodle ratio. it wasn't too bad but hard to get through with how heavy and buttery it was. The light portions were also huge so i recommend maybe splitting a light portion! the server was hilarious and great but forgot a few things here and there. but that was okay because we didn't mind asking. the garlic knots to start were my favorite!!!! read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Terrible service. When we came in there was an older man who told us that 'service clearly wasn't their priority''. I should have listened to him. We got a table pointed to us to sit at and then were ignored for 20 minutes while the same staff walked past us multiple times. Reindeer Grill is a very good place to eat with friendly staff. I've never had a bad lunch or dinner there! However, don't go if you're wanting to be out in less than an hour. Typical wait time between being seated and receiving your food has never been less than 35 mins. This isn't bad for dinner but I think hurts their lunch crowd. Nice little diner and very sweet, kind, and friendly staff. Food is good, par for a diner type restaurant. Now, the feedback for hoping to get this to the owner to improve. Lots of improvement needed in the service department. They lacked severely in attentiveness from the beginning trying to get attention of someone to seat us, all the way to having to chase someone down to get the bill. A lot of waiting happened. If I could give a negative number for service and attentiveness throughout the stay, I would. We were there yesterday around 2 pm and I did hear one of the staff tell another patron, that they were sorry for the slowness but they were a little busy. There is no excuse for this slow of service, especially when though most tables were full, no one was waiting for a table. Please, please, pay attention to your patrons, they are what keeps you in business. Treat others the way you would want to be treated!!! read more

We were driving through town looking for a place to grab a late lunch and Reindeer Grill ended up being perfect spot. Metered parking was available right outside and when we arrived there were a couple of empty tables. We were able to seat ourselves and check out the menu. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders. We ended up trying the chicken fingers, cheeseburger, and mozzarella sticks. The chicken fingers were solid and came with bbq or honey mustard plus fries. The fries were hot and crispy. The burger was decent as well and the mozzarella sticks were very good. Service was fast and friendly. I'd recommend stopping in if you need a no frills meal! read more

Literally looks like a Christmas thrift shop when walking by it but the food was amazing! Our server went above and beyond for us and even gave us her recommendations when my husband and I couldn't decide on what to order. Our first visit was for a relatively early Tuesday evening dinner. A very wholesome place with some inspirational scripture on the walls. The color palette and decor are reminiscent of a country store. The menu looked fairly good. Notably missing were adult beverages. With that I ordered Iced Tea while the rest of my family had water with lemon. Delicious garlic knots magically appeared with a side of sauce. They feature a crab soup on the menu so I really wanted to try that. My wife ordered the chicken bacon hand tossed pizza and a small Caesar salad while I decided on the single crab cake dinner and their crab soup. As we planned to split the Caesar I substituted their vegetable medley for the Caesar that accompanied my crab cake. My mom and her partner also split a Caesar and each had a bowl of the crab soup. Their small Caesar was fairly large and very tasty! The only possible improvement would be to use larger croutons. The crab soup was amazingly delicious! A hint of sherry and Old Bay topped a heaping pile of crab in my cup! My crab cake was pretty darn good for being in north central Ohio! It came with a huge heaping amount of battered French fries. What nearly stole the show was the vegetable medley! Well prepared, seasoned, and delicious! My wife really enjoyed her pizza! This was our first time dining here. This is a small, quaint diner with kitschy decor (lots of bible verses on the walls). Our meals were well-prepared and delicious and prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately, the men's restroom was out of order and the service was very slow and inattentive (it was busy due to a 7K road race that brought a lot of visitors to the area). For the past six months I've wanted nothing more than to hit up the deli for a salad on our road trip, only to find that our intended destination was closed for an event. Ravenous, we found the next closest eatery. My salad got a major upgrade. We walked in to seat ourselves at a booth, greeted by a soft spoken waitress who brought us waters while we read over the menu. She returned to take our order, and then again to bring complimentary garlic knots. Vampires beware, these things pack a hot punch as butter oozes onto your finger tips. They come with a side of marinara, doing their best to warm you from the freezing cold air. He stepped out to grab a hoodie and I went to find that the religious tones of the place follow you into the bathroom, with a bible ready in case you're in for the long haul. The afformentioned salad arrived as a substitute to the offered fries for my crab cake. It came with a packet of honey mustard, but after a cranking of pepper, I was so distracted by the freshness of the shredded lettuce and sharp onion with juicy tomato and bell pepper that I neglected to dress it. There was a sprinkling of cheese and baby croutons. I devoured it and moved on to the star. This hockey puck sized beast was low on breading, high on taste. I didn't sense any goopy filler that people try to fool you with. It had the consistency of albacore tuna with a sweet, undersea tone that made me feel like my tenner wasn't going for something chincy. It came with a tartar sauce. Better than that shake shake squeeze stuff from the grocer. My mate got beef stroganoff. The mushrooms were delicately caramelized like steak, the onions jammy. In fact, they were the stars of the show over the, still respectable, beef. The sauce was downright great and the egg noodles were properly cooked. The people waiting on you taking your order are more interested in rushing to take your order, not repeating it back to you to get back to talking and playing on their phones. My order came out wrong! I ordered a double cheeseburger with only ketchup, mustard and pickles and fries. I received a double cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and mayo with fries. After they tried to correct it and they brought another burger out it was a single cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard and pickles. At that time I hollered "can we get the check please!" As he came over and it was explained to them that both times the order was wrong. He went back to the register and brought the bill trying to charge me for the entire order. I stated, "I'm not paying for that!" Bill was adjusted but still would not recommend this place! We were very disappointed, you can smell the grease when you open the door, the decor is lacking, tables unclean but told to sit anywhere and food was simply awful. My husband ordered fish and chips and said it had been in the freezer too long before frying. I ordered a hamburger which was not what I imagined ordering based on the menu on line, it was a thin burger, simple, no fuss and could be the same anywhere. Stellar cuisine. Ordered Seafood Alfredo and sheesh, I was impressed! Bay scallops inside were sweet. I normally shy away from the texture of shrimp tails, but these shrimp were spectacular. Perfect size and adequately cooked. I ordered the regular portion and I'll admit I've made many meals of it. I chose to go here for my birthday and the staff handled my family with respect & kindness. I appreciate that, especially with a large group. Best part was the birthday cookie monster. This place seemed promising with how its website advertised it, but honestly I wasn't too impressed. The food was edible and tasted okay, but everything, especially the pizza, was SUPER greasy. It was honestly mediocre for the price you pay (like a $21 entree that really is only worth probably $10). Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this business. (In the photo, you can see that the pizza was shiny with how greasy it was). Also, our waitress seemed a bit irritated that she had to serve us and just wasn't the friendliest, and the decor was very outdated and rather awful to the eye. read more

Great food, great prices! We ordered a chicken bacon wrap, bacon cheeseburgers, garlic knots and a kid's pepperoni pizza. Cost wise, it's on par with Panera, but MUCH better food. We ordered our food to go, and by the time we got home (30 minutes later), the fries were still delicious! We can't wait to dine in the next time and try something new.
