Truly amazing, this is a throwback to my youth! It's been over a decade since I've been back! I truly miss this place. They have the best hot dogs I've ever had, their unique sauce - truly out of this world! My favorite hot dog - I can't say, Red Hot or White Hot I love then both. Another over the top experience, the Milk Shakes! A one of a kind! Oh the memories of coming here Saturday evenings after church softball! If for nothing else getting a quick bite to eat with friends grab a drink, life was so easy back then!

A Lockport staple. Can't miss if you're in the area. Cheap food, tasty food, and quick food. No frills. Load up on pickles!

A basic hamburger/hot dog stand cooking up tasty quick bites that are great for a summer day. I really liked the fries and the burger, which is nice and thin cut for a lighter lunch.

This place was bustling with customers, and it was good to see them doing well. The banana milkshake I got was made from the fake banana candy flavoring and not from real bananas. The white hots are my favorite, and the fries and onion rings were good too. This place isnt exactly cheap, but definitely a good place to experience classical American summer cuisine.

One of the Family's all time favorite spots. Haven't been here in a while but man was it worth every min getting here lol. We usually get hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and onion rings and Reid's sauce for everything to follow. Not sure what the sauce consists of but it's amazing on just about anything. The offer a variety of items today we went for the usual and added the fish sandwich as well that was a good choice. The place was very busy upon arrival, but the service was quick especially for the amount of food we ordered. All in all we had a great time the quality was great as always and the service was swift and fabulous. I would highly recommend you try some Reid's before summer is up. And just a side note... The shakes are Delicious!

If you are from Lockport or any of the surrounding areas, chances are you know about Reid's. Named after the family that owns it, it is a Lockport institution and has been for many many years. Everyone knows someone who works there or has worked there in the past. It seems like Half of my graduating class worked here at some point in high school. Why I love this place and what you should know: -Though they are a drive in sort of spot, they are open year round. Eat inside, outside at the picnic tables, in your car, on your bike, while walking along the canal, however you want really. -they are cash only but they do have an ATM inside -they have the thickest milkshakes of your life and a regular is only $2.50 -the staff is super friendly and super quick. -they have red hots (for me) and white hots (for the hubby) -their prices are crazy low. Came by today and presented two milkshakes, a red hot, a grilled cheese, a cheeseburger and fries. $12. For real. -their food is always hot, fresh, and fast -want dessert? Their ice cream shop is next door. If you're in Lockport looking for a great lunch or dinner, this is your spot. My only warning- beware of the seagulls!

Stooges was well worth the visit. Located in the old City Hall, the architecture is unique and…read moreaccommodating, serving as a cool reminder of Lockport's local history. The food is the definition of "bang for your buck." I tried the chicken burger, which came stuffed with shredded steak and peppers. It was honestly larger than expected, and relatively inexpensive considering the portion size. The Highlights: * Unique Atmosphere: You can really feel the history of the old City Hall building. * The Food: Generous portions that don't break the bank. * Drink Selection: They have a surprisingly good beer list for a casual spot. Service: Wait staff were good and attentive. It's nothing "fancy" by any means, but it's a quality spot right in the heart of town. My only gripes were that the bar area felt a bit small for the space, and it was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday afternoon. This place deserves more attention, and could see the same setting packed if it were in East Aurora or Elmwood

I had the build you own Mac and cheese that was good but it's so big for one person and had an overwhelming amount of cheese. The onion rings are so very good though. They had a lot of vegetarians option. The ambiance was great with a medium amount of people. It is not wheelchair accessible though because of the stairs in the entrance. The service was average they were a little slow but pleasant. I would recommend.
