The store is huge, has many departments - swim, camping, women's, men's and children's apparel, hiking, biking, hats and accessories, fitness items, winter coats, rain gear and more. But within some areas, there is hardly any merchandise. For example, the Swim section was minimal. There was a big sign and display, but turns out that was it. Literally just a handful of swimsuits, one or two rash guards, no goggles, fins or gear. Did I mention just a handful of swimsuits? Was highly disappointed but since I was there, decided to walk the aisles. The vast majority of the store is filled with clothing. Racks and racks of clothing. Like it's sister store and neighbor, Marshall's, they must get leftover clothing from other stores and sell at a discount. There are definitely good finds among the racks, but I wasn't shopping for clothing and didn't have the patience. Ended up buying a wide brimmed sun hat with SPF of 50 for just $16.99. There were only three customers at the checkout but it still seemed to take forever. Of course this area is filled with a plethora of spontaneous purchases - trail mix, gadgets of every kind, hiking books, flashlights, etc. For me, Sierra will never be a destination like Marshall's where I will go far out of my way to visit. But for those who want outdoorsy clothing, this could be your Marshall's.

I had such a terrible experience with the last firearm purchase that I finally said "to hell with it just give me a refund". At this point I would rather spend the money at Cabela's/Bass Pro. The manager back there, Jeff, treats you like an absolute burden. Instead of applying customer service and working to help you, he's dismissive, arrogant and ridiculously rude. Worst customer service I have had in a VERY long time, probably ever. I bought 4 other firearms here in the last 90 days to add to my collection, and THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I DID ANY BUSINESS HERE! If you have to go here, deal with the young ladies who work the counter. Which was no surprise at all, size 14s are hard to find on store shelves, but it was a surprise when they couldn't order Triumphs at all. I really wanted the same shoe again so Jesse the store manager went the extra mile and got in touch with the supplier only to find out that their was an issue in the manufacturing of that particular shoe for the time being. So, he found me two other pairs, a Brooks with similar off-set, and another pair of Sauconys with less off-set and more 'spring' to them. He ordered one pair and transferred (from the downtown location) the other, both in size 14. They arrived a few days later, I get the call and come in. Upon trying them on we quickly realize I need to be running in size 15's. So he orders the same two pairs for me this time one size up. The Brooks arrived first. I got a call, came in and met Jed (I think that's his name) I tried them on around the store, felt good. The Toebox felt a bit big though. Jed explained how that extra 'freedom' up front (my words) could lead to some horizontal movement and therefor friction on the bottom of my foot and the shoe. I was eager to run though. He said go, take 'em for a spin, you can bring 'em back muddy, whatever, just try 'em out. So I did. That night went for a quick 4 miler, they felt good, but he was right, too much play up front. The next day the other Sauconys came in in size 15. Try'd them on, felt awesome. They let me return the lightly used Brooks, and I'm super satisfied with these. Only 20 miles so far, but they are perfect. Big thank you the Jesse and Jed. Amazing Service.
