We opted for cupcakes rather than the traditional three-tiered wedding cake, so Sue whipped us up some delicious samples featuring homemade fruit fillings and rich frosting. The strawberry with champagne frosting was my favorite, followed by blueberry and lemon. To accommodate our vision for how the cupcakes would be displayed, Sue went out of her way to buy a new circular tower and get ribbon to match our wedding colors. The result was an impeccably designed table of delicious treats that our guests loved. To top it off, Sue offered to make us a small, fresh cake for our one-year anniversary rather than have us eat something that had been freezer-burned for months. Talk about sweet :).
