Hoping the improvements continue. I have gone here a few times in the past.. like 4 yrs ago, 2 yrs ago and a yr ago. Has been pretty in consistent between good & bad. Today the store was cleaner, they are making up grades to dining in area. The chef/owner/ manager/counter person ( forgot to get his name.... He was smiling, attentive, all while multi tasking. I want to love this place because they are close to my home. Every time I place an order , pick up and eat I'm just so disappointed. I actually switched my go to at this place since the old owners left now I stick to Greek salad with grilled chicken, how can you go wrong right and pizza for my kids. I said it was for dining in. Gave it to me to go. I see why they did that. The spaghetti was covered and through out with cheese. It had 1 small meatball!! 1 meatball. Really ? The spaghetti was not even heated or hot through out. The bread that came with it was not fresh.. It was clearly dried out bread n re saturated with butter, tasted old! I love coming here! My favorite items are the steak bomb and the Greek salad with added chicken. Everything is super tasty! This came in handy while I was pregnant and since after giving birth (so delicious, fast and affordable). They even marinate the chicken breast for a while before serving. I am Caribbean so it is a must to properly clean and season meat. Which I can tel that they do. The customer service is great too! Huge improvements from a few years back. Oh My Goodness! I am so glad I wandered in to this lovely little place! And I continue to visit for three reasons: Excellent Food, Excellent Service, and Welcoming Atmosphere. Family owned and operated, pick up or delivery, or place your order at the counter and eat in at a table, very clean and comfortable inside! Amazingly courteous and profession staff, whether in person,on the phone or delivery. I have been pleasantly surprised by how fresh and flavourful everything is.They definitely care about the quality of food and service. There are wonderful specialty pizzas to chose from. I love their 'Papou' specialty Pizza. They explained, when I asked, that Papou means Grandfather in Greek, and this was the owner's homage to his grandfather. That made it all the better! And not greasy! The onion rings, the chicken wings are crisp outside and moist inside where the oil is the cooking method,not part of the meal. The salads are fresh and a generous serving. They offer a wide variety of subs, sandwiches, pitas, pasta and entrees. I love the eggplant parmesan, They also have desserts like baklava and cheesecake with strawberries. There is a large beverage fridge of sodas, juices, and iced teas. In this crazy, hurried world, I have to say it's nice to be greeted and welcomed They make us feel like lingering, to stay and eat our order there, and not dash out the door. After a great weekend on the Cape, my BF and i decided we wanted to stop and get a pizza before going home. We had not been happy with AHOP so decided to try somewhere new. We tried Canova's but..who knew? They don't start making pizza until after 4 pm on Sundays - so much for there. We have lived here over 4 years and still can't find "the great" pizza place we keep searching for. So i pulled up Yelp to read what Yelpers had to say, read all the reviews so I could get a sense of how the place actually is. We decided no on a few places based on Yelp reviews, but then this one came up . It as close to home, reviews seemed to be mixed, and we just wanted a pizza. So I called and placed the order for a large cheese pizza with sausage. A bit hard to understand the person answering the phone, but it was pretty basic so he said 15-20 mins. We pull up, I jump out and walk in. The place is clean, neat, no one there eating, but it was 4 pm on a Sunday. Man said Hello, was very nice, paid $12.99 for my pizza and took it home. Pizza smelled great and we sat down to eat it. Opened the box.......and it was like looking at a frozen cheap over-cooked pizza . And that is what it tasted like - HORRIBLE. The crust was hard and overcooked, the cheese was brown - also overcooked, not enough sauce, the sausage was ok but it just was a bad pizza. See the pictures on the review? That is what they look like. I want creamy warm gooey cheese over tomato sauce and have it be golden and inviting- not brown and dried out looking and tasting like it had been frozen. My BF took 2 bites and said "This is the worst pizza I have ever had". I agreed it wasn't not good and he literally picked up the box and threw it in the trash. Wow. He's just not hat kind of guy. So he called AHOP, placed large cheese with sausage, went and picked it up and it was good this time. So we mark yet another pizza place off our list. PRO: Clean, neat, friendly server CONS: Way overcooked pizza that tastes like it was frozen. And at $12.99 for a large - not any value at all. If a pizza place can not make good pizza, I do not care if they make great sandwiches or wings etc. If that is what a business is good at, then change your name and sell what you make that is edible and make people want to return. Ever have one of those nights where you put off cooking and then are instantly ravenous but realize you have no food in your house? Guilty as charged. I pulled open my take-our menu drawer to see what struck my fancy and decided to give Route 152 Pizza a try because the menu was appealing and it's a stone's throw from my house. Quick summary: definitely a good place to have close to home when I'm not in the mood to cook! Their menu is quite extensive and offers many(!) specialty pizzas, sandwiches, and other dinner entree options so it seems like there would be something for everyone. I opted for a small (10") Papou's pizza (portabellas, roasted red peppers, garlic, parm cheese, and other deliciousness) with artichokes added on for good measure. I also ordered a side of meatballs because why not. I called in for take-out (they also do delivery within ~4 miles I believe) and was told 15-20 minutes and my order number. The restaurant is in the Attleboro Crossing plaza (with Seabra, Family Dollar, Big Lots, etc). When I entered there were a couple of people near the register for orders and pick-ups as well as a family eating at a booth. Indoor seating is a bit limited, but works for a place of its size. There is a drink cooler and a TV as well. Service was friendly and quick. I was promptly greeted and asked for my order number which I happened to remember (which was good since I hadn't been instructed to remember it). Took my food to go and made it home. The pizza was good, and while I would order it again, I would definitely try a few of their other specialty pizzas first just because there were so many that appealed to me. The side of meatballs came with three medium sized meatballs in the order and while they were fine, they weren't something that I would go out of my way to order again. read more

Be careful what you order,and what they charge !! I ordered a ham and pineapple pizza( I didn't order Hawaiian) and when we checked the receipt we were charged for a Hawaiian which is a couple dollars more !! Ham and pineapple are on their list of toppings so it should have been a two topping! I don't know why a Hawaiian is more , even though it's the same thing!! Probably the best place to get a pizza in Attleboro. This is the pizzeria equivalent of Cheers (except maybe some of the people on the staff don't really know my name), where I'm always glad I came. Their staff is friendly, their prices are right, and holy moly, their special pizzas are top notch! I won't go into too much detail (I find life is best enjoyed when left to be discovered first hand), but their Mexican pizza is what sealed the deal for me.
