It did take a while for me to get a rental and have the damages repaired due to difficulty contacting the other party's insurance, getting repair quotes, etc but luckily my car had very minor damages and was still drivable. I just had to be patient. After about a month I received my car back looking brand new. Not only did they repair the damages but also took the time to detail the inside and wash the outside.
