Obviously, no one is thrilled after being involved in accidents but Providence auto body has helped me navigate the process twice now--stress free and professionally. It did take a while for me to get a rental and have the damages repaired due to difficulty contacting the other party's insurance, getting repair quotes, etc but luckily my car had very minor damages and was still drivable. I just had to be patient. After about a month I received my car back looking brand new. Not only did they repair the damages but also took the time to detail the inside and wash the outside. They made the whole process so easy and I knew I picked the right place. From the time I dropped off the truck until I picked it up we were kept informed of the progress and the loaner was beautiful and exceptionally clean. When the truck was done it looked showroom ready, cleaner than it was when I dropped it off and truck was detailed and shiny looked better than brand new. They even filled the gas tank. I recently was in a rear end accident and referred by my friend Stefano to Providence Auto Body. They immediately set me up with a rental. My car took awhile to be repaired due to waiting on insurance company to assess damage and obtaining parts but they did an amazing job. Less than a day into the process they were shoving arbitration paperwork down my throat stating their "dislike" and "inability" to work with/for my ins. carrier. Next I'm being contacted by their in-house family attorney. Two weeks of stressful and frustrating back and forth and their refusal to work with my appraiser and ultimately my car was never worked on. Had to have the car moved to another shop to start from scratch. I had the misfortune of choosing Providence Auto Body for damage to my car. The woman that I delt with was pleasant and nice. I got a text message from the adjuster saying that they set my claim and that my car would be done in about two weeks. Today I get a call from PAB to come and get my car. Now I'm confused. I go there and try to see what's going on. Of course Nikki , the woman handling my case is out for the day. A man came and asked me what he could do for me. I told him who I was. I tried to explain to him that my insurance adjuster said my car would be fixed. They refused to even look at the text message. They said either take your car now or we will total it right now. I tried multiple times to get him and the two other men he called out to. MULTIPLE times they threaten me , telling one another, " Go total the car " . All i wanted was an explanation. All i got was aggravation. I had to keep telling the " Do Not Total My Car " . Finally I got my car back. Called my insurance company immediately and told them what happened. Now , my adjuster said the damage was a little over $2500 . Today when I spoke to him , he was just getting ready to cut the check for them. I told him what happened and he said he was canceling their check and sending out one for me for $2100. Vit of a difference in the amounts. Makes me go hmmm. read more

If I could give this auto body shop zero stars I would, they were very fair warned that I had an Intoxalock device in my car and they never said a word about not being able to fix it, they had almost a months notice about it. Fast forward to today where I drop my car off for the repair and already gave me a rental, I have the rental for maybe 30 mins tops and they tell me to turn around and bring the rental back immediately since they won't fix it with that in my car. Lady up front wasn't so friendly either, I had an appointment I needed to be at and then gave me attitude when I asked for my keys back. Just asked for an appraisal of a 6 inch scratch near my wheel. Acted like I didn't know anything about cars and the guy told me it was $800-1000 because he needed to take the door off to fix the scratch plus the window. Absolutely would have been over charged. Been here to have work done on 2 vehicles. Both times it was such a smooth transaction. Went straight to their shop from the scene of the accident and got right into a rental car without having to wait more than a half hour. Work was done right and the vehicles came back looking better than before. They even fixed damage that I did t ask them to fix and painted my running boards without having to ask them! The auto body shop is not a place you want to frequent but hey accidents happen. My family has been going here since I was a kid. They have reconstructed my brothers nearly totaled mustang twice. ( deer ) ( snow ). They fixed up two of my minor dings. The last one was a doozy. I'm not sure how I did it but but my accident left my car a mess. After the shock wore off I called the shop. They said no problem we will come get you with the tow truck. It's quicker then aaa. All I had to do was answer a few questions and they took it from there. So easy and stress free. When I got my car back it was brand new ! Not only did the body work look amazing , they even cleaned my messy inside. My car was sparkling inside and out. I never write reviews, but this is my third time taking a vehicle to PAB. They are the best. All you do is walk in, give them your information and they take care of the rest. Between handling the insurance to getting you a rental car, I walked in and was out in my rental car in less than an hour. When your car is finished it will look worlds better than when you first got into an accident. In my latest dealing with Providence Auto Body, someone hit my car when it was parked, Progressive (their person who hit my car's insurance company) deemed my car a total loss. Well when you sign the check for the money, they only give you three days with the rental car. From the time I brought my car in, till the time I had to give the rental back it was about 7 days, not nearly enough time to research a car to buy, find the exact one you want, get financing, sign the papers, and get the car. PAB gave me a loaner car for a week after I had to turn my rental in. They didn't have to do this at all! They will go above and beyond for their customers and the work is second to none. PVD Auto took care of dealing with the insurance appraiser and made sure that only 100% original factory parts were used. I went in for an estimate and the blond with the fake boobs (must have been the owner) was sooooo rude. So condescending to everyone she spoke to while I sat there with no regard. Once I left I even heard her screaming at the top of her lungs like a crazy woman. Not to mention they were super expensive .... I dropped of my car 2 months ago for a minor repair. They clam they will handle everything start to finish Which means you drop off your car while they call the insurance company to come out look at your car then wait for the insurance company to give the the go a head to start repairs . Then they order the parts and wait for them to come in. I am guessing this all takes about 3 weeks. WHICH would be fine if A) they provided an equal car to what you are having fixed. I dropped off a C300 and was given keys to some piece of shit Ford with leather. Option B) could have been letting me drive my car while I they waited for paperwork to get started minimizing my time in THIER RENTAL but NO this was not done either Now after me calling on 6/11/2018 and being told I would have my car in 10 working days. I am on working day 11 with no end in site to the forced incarceration of my car Also to note NOT ONCE HAS ANYONE CALLED WITH A STATUS ON MY CAR Watch out for the rental car scam with this company. Just an update for PAB. I started having problems with my top making weird noises. I called and they said not a problem bring it in now if you have the time. Of course me being worried, i brought it out there and by the time i knew it I had 3 service guys outside my car putting the top down and back up. They eventually found the problem. (It was some metal piece hitting the roof used for opening and closing. They put some felt tape around it and it was as good as new not making any noise). They even called me a few times through out the weeks and kept checking in and making sure the noise was gone. AWESOME PLACE. They guys treat you like your family. read more

Simply the best of the best! I can't say enough about this place! Right from the start.. I called on a Saturday evening to have them tow my 2017 AWD GMC. The flat bed was there in 1/2 hour! Went in Monday morning to complete the paper work and Sandy and Nikki were wonderful. Then, after my insurance company stopped paying for my rental, they offered to pay for the remaining days till my car was fixed!! That was so nice, I couldn't believe it! Of course, the best part was getting my SUV back looking and smelling beautiful with a full tank of gas! Plus the guys helped me load all of my stuff back into my car from the rental. Did a great job repairing my car after I was rear ended, but everyday I was told I could pick it up, they would tell me sorry maybe tomorrow it will be done (3 times) till I told them I was getting annoyed and needed to return my rented and wouldn't have a car! Then when I got my car back it was missing items that were in there when I left it! Go figure it just so happens one of my items was in the building but miraculously took 20 minutes to locate! I think someone took it thinking I wouldn't notice and they had to bring it back. The one woman I the office was a bit of a sarcastic snob, I was ready to give her a piece of my mind. The other women were ok but were rude on the phone and hung up many times before I could even get another word in. My 2001 Jeep GC was rear-ended in a snowstorm and the damage was enough to consider it a total because of its age. It is such a great running truck in excellent condition that I asked Nick at Prov Auto Body to repair it, not total it. PAB did a fantastic job - I don't know how they managed to do it with the small insurance company settlement, but they did - I am very grateful to them for the prompt and courteous service, great loaner, and excellent repair. I don't think I would trust any other body shop to work on my vehicles, including repainting/restoring my vintage '73 Jag XKE V-12 some years back. When I sold that car I made 4x what I originally paid for it, and it was in exceptional condition, thanks to Nick and Prov Auto Body. Note: The jag was not an insurance claim, I paid for it out of pocket, and I took it to PAB because they are the best in the state. read more

A couple of months ago I was rear ended in a minor accident, I stayed and the person behind be started to go. Nobody was injured and the damage to both cars was minimal but I had to have my bumper replaced. I know a couple of people who had used Providence Auto Body in the past, so I headed down there. I have to say, their face to face customer service isn't the best. I went from a waiting area, to a desk to fill out paper work, back to the waiting area before I finally I received a rental car and headed out. My car came back a few weeks later in perfect condition and freshly detailed. They told me that all the work is guaranteed for the life of the car and I headed off on my full tank of gas. Fast forward 5 days and I was involved in another minor rear end collision. Needless to say I was annoyed because I had just been through this, but I called Providence Auto Body and they had me in about a week later and off with another rental car. I just got my car back (again) and it the work looks great again. They matched the paint color perfectly and you can't tell anything is different by looking at it. Earlier I had said that their customer service isn't great, and it isn't. But, they did take care of dealing with the insurance adjusters both times and there is also something to be said about the convenience of getting and dropping off your rental car right on site. Also, my experience with them the second time around was much easier. They already had everything on file from my previous visit so I saved a little bit of time there. Plan on being there for 20-30 minutes when you're dropping off or picking up your car. Also, the first time in they had my car for about a month, this time was just short of 3 weeks, so expect to have to wait and make arrangements to get a car. It was all worth it in the end and now my car looks great again! Nothing personal, but I hope I don't have to go back for a while! read more

If I could rate this shop a zero I would. Very unprofessional and we're trying to scam me. They kept telling me to go through my insurance even though the accident to get more money even though the accident wasn't my fault and I had the other persons insurance information. They had my car sitting there nearly a month lying saying that the other insurance didn't want to pay to to fully "fix" my vehicle. They mad various excuses first claiming that the other insurance wanted to use aftermarket parts even though my vehicle is a 2020. Little did they know I work at a Honda dealership and looked up all the part numbers from the other insurance company's estimate and they were all factory parts. They thought they could play me because I'm only 20. They gave another excuse saying that the other insurance didn't assume liability; another excuse to go through my insurance. I kept inquiring because none of there story made sense. And that's when they asked me why I kept asking the same questions then I spoke with the piece of sh** Nick and he told me "Come pick up your car, and give me back my rental " because he knew I was on to them. Should have known this shop was on some bs... they gave me a small 14 Corolla that rode like sh** in place of my 2020 full size sedan. Glad I got my vehicle away from there after sitting for a month. Last thing is they kept saying the other insurance didn't want to pay to repair my vehicle and I asked them for a quote of what needed to be fixed and they never had any estimate. These people are frauds and they barely greet you when you go through the door. When I came to pick up my vehicle my advisor didn't even look at me and pretended to not even see me.
