I brought my Nissan in for an estimate. I had to pay out of pocket because silly me didn't have Collision insurance (lesson learned). Because I was paying myself, I had to pay for the parts first. As a returning customer I thought coming back would be the right choice for me and my car, apparently not. I brought my car in for a simple estimate about two weeks ago and after waiting for two weeks for them to call me back, they said they couldn't give me an estimate because "our boss is on vacation." Thats a bs excuse if you ask me, what employee of a body shop can't do a simple estimate? My family and I have been coming to Rego's for years. I honestly wouldn't recommend anywhere else. I had to come back today for a headlight and every single person was friendly and approachable while I waited in the waiting room they all asked if I had been helped. Within five minutes they took my car. When I came in from an accident, they called and had a rental within minutes. They took my Jeep in and gave me paperwork, explained everything in depth and ensured that I wasn't concerned about the insurance end of things. I had a minor accident and took my car to Rego's Auto Body to ask about repairs. I was only with the owner discussing my damage for about ten mins, and next thing I know I was in a rental and on my way. The staff handled every step with professionalism and friendliness. Shout out to Micheal (owner?) and Tara (front desk). Infact every staff member went out of their way to say hi to me and ensure I was being helped. I felt very welcome and important. My entire car was inspected and fixed with care and timeliness. I left with a car that looks as new as the day that I got it! They fixed the damage from my accident and helped me with some other minor wear and tear on my vehicle. My car was detailed before it was ready to pick up as well. The plastic underbody of my engine in my '04 Audi TT had lost a significant number of bolts and was left dragging on the road. I showed up with no appointment and was immediately helped and within about 10 minutes I was all set free of charge. Everyone was very nice, knowledgeable and all went without a hitch. Just before Christmas, my car was rear-ended. It would have been difficult to find a more inconvenient time for this to happen... not only due to the stress of the season but for the fact that I was the sole driver toting around my family/delivering groceries to two home bound people. Following a recommendation from a coworker, I found myself pulling up to the doors of Rego's Auto Body. If you didn't know this place was here, you would probably drive right by. Located next to the Foxy Lady, this establishment's exterior is deceiving. Once you walk through the doors, you are transported into a clean, modern waiting area where you are greeted by the wonderfully nice and accommodating staff of Rego's. Having called earlier in the day, they already had a file started. I immediately felt like family, the staff calling me by name and walking me through the quick and easy process of dropping off my car. We took a stroll around my car, discussed what work would need to be completed, then they set up me with a rental. I received a 2013 Toyota Camry and it served me well over the holidays. No issues whatsoever. They took care of everything with the at-fault driver's insurance company. I called for periodic updates about the car and if they couldn't talk to me at the time of the call, they always got back to me same day. On the day my car was ready, I was so excited to see it (based on the reviews that I had been reading about this place). What they said was true! My car looked better than when I bought it! It was literally sparkling and shining despite the cloudy weather. The damage to my car was in the back but the entire thing sides and all were buffed and any nick or scrape I had sustained in parking lots across the state were gone baby, gone!! Like other happy customers at Rego's autobody can testify to, Carlos, Kim and the rest of the team absolutely go above and beyond to give the best possible service. My car had a dent in the side from a hit and run and I anticipated a large out of pocket expense due to the size of my deductible. I happened to stop by Rego's after seeing great reviews simply to get an estimate. Right away Kim was on the phone with the insurance company and navigated the logistics of the process. Kim reassured me I had nothing to worry about. A few days later I dropped off my car so that they could get started with repairs. Carols took an assessment of the original damage and noticed some other scrapes and scratches elsewhere. He offered to fix those areas too at no extra expense! I was blown away. And when my insurance didn't cover rental car expenses, what did Kim and Carlos do? Gave me one of their own rental cars..at no extra charge (a solid and well kept car too). I didn't even know how I was going to afford the original repair I visited them for, and they gave me more than I could have imagined while saving me a fortune. They kept my car for about two weeks during and after the Christmas/New Year's holiday. They could have kept it a whole month I didn't care I was so relieved. This place is incredibly busy... Carols said his guys work 7 am until 6 pm to keep up with the demand, and do they work hard! When I came by to pick up my car, I think it looked better than the day I got it new.. And they did a total detailing of the interior also! It was beautiful. In summary all I can say is that Kim and Carlos treated me like family and I have a lot of respect for them and what they do. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The first day I walked into their business I felt reassured when I saw a picture of the Lord on their desk. I feel like I found a pair of angels. I would definitely recommend taking your car here if you need auto body work. They are very thorough, friendly and polite. They deal with the insurance companies and adjusters to ensure things get repaired properly and they have a rental facility next door that makes that process easier when you have to leave your vehicle behind (I got a brand new Nissan that had all of 4,000 miles on it). The only knock is you do have to call for status updates if you want them (otherwise they won't call until its done), but they do get back to you as soon as possible. I had my car towed from the police tow yard to Rego's Auto. That was a mistake. The place is over crowded with totaled cars, no customer service and a bunch of people who don't actually care. When I initially called I asked for Tara, taking up my attorneys suggestion, and she asked about the police report and money off rip. She didn't care about me or the fact that I was careless, just whether or not she would make a profit off my pain. For me, her customer service was absolute trash. I spoke with my insurance company the day my car was dropped off at the shop to see if they could make it out the following day. They could makes it out but she scheduled them to come in the Friday of the following week which, I felt, was inconsiderate seeing as how I had no form of transportation to get around without a car for a week and a half. I called and let her know that I just spoke with my insurance company and that someone is available to come out tomorrow and she told me, very rudely and aggressively, that insurance agencies know that's not how it works. They need to make an appointment and the next available appointment was a week and a half away. She didn't even seem interested in making sure that it was done ASAP, that I had some sort of rental and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. So I took it upon myself and sought out another auto body shop that would show me respect and move quickly seeing as I'm a working mother of 2 and having a car is vital. So I called to let them know I was removing my car from there lot and transferring it elsewhere. The ladies I spoke to (3 different women) seemed shocked and weren't to happy about it at all. So I went down there and the place was empty. No customers. Like 3 employees but she couldn't make a sooner appointment? I asked for my car keys and a Rego's employee (a man) handed them to me with no eye contact, not even a hello and pointed to where it was and walked away. Like wtf. So I wandered around the lot until I found it. I went back in to ask for my plates and a woman showed the same disrespectful behavior while handing me my plates. So at that point I was confident in my decision to take my business somewhere else because dealing with people like that, with such a mistreatment Of people, is nowhere I'd ever do business and I highly recommend you stay away and take your business, money, and insurance ELSEWHERE. I was rear-ended and ended up hitting the car in front of me because of that. When I dropped off my car and was filling out paperwork for a rental, Tara told me someone would be with me shortly to do a walk around of my car and answer any questions or concerns I had. Never happened. They came and asked for my keys so they could move my car, but no one ever asked if I had questions or if I wanted to overlook the damage with them. Nothing. I, of all people, genuinely had concerns due to the color of my car among other things - and also wanted to know if I could have a few other minor blemishes repaired even if I had to pay extra out of pocket. Because no one did a walk around with me, and Mike seemed very short on time, I ended up emailing him while my car was still sitting in one of their lots after a couple of weeks and he never responded. After them having my car for a month they finally called one morning to say it would be done by 1:30 that day. I wasn't going to have a ton of time between then and when I had to drop off my partner at work, but I wasn't going any longer without my car and in a 4-cyl Camry so we got there as soon as we could after 1:30. When we got there to drop off the rental, Tara called someone up to bring my car over while another man immediately brought us papers to sign off on...before we could even look at the car. My father who was with me pointed out that was an odd practice and the man responded something kind of rudely under his breath. Shouldn't the customer be able to assess the repairs before they agree to sign off on everything? Apparently that's an out-of-this-world idea. Like I said before, we were short on time and just happy to have the car back - but we were already made to sign release documents before being able to inspect the car so what could possibly go wrong? Well, of course later on when it's too late do I realize MULTIPLE things wrong with the repair. 1- The new rear bumper cover, though it looks amazing at almost any distance, actually already had a couple of small nicks on it like they touched the paint while it was still drying. 2- The deck lid was originally misaligned from the accident, had the paint scraped off on the left corner and the right corner was bent inwards a bit. The chrome finish was beginning to peel on one of the nameplate letters as well. Now, the deck lid appears properly aligned and the left scrape is gone, but the nameplate looks worse (actually has two pieces of the chrome finish missing) and the right corner that was bent inwards seems to be straight now BUT the paint has a crease in it where it was bent (and actually still has a small scrape in the same area from the accident). They couldn't even be bothered to repaint that section so that it looked -I don't know- how it's supposed to?! 3- They NEVER appeared to even INSPECT the front end damage of my car, let alone fix it. My front plate was fucked up from the accident which should have been a telltale sign that they should inspect the front for any underlying damage - which would lead them to find that the valance suffered damage and was not in its original shape. The front bumper cover also has a good crease on the paint where the bumper bent before returning to its original shape when hitting the car in front of me. They literally did not even look at the front of the car it seems. I know I made it clear to the insurance company paying for the repairs that the front may have more damage than what is noticeable in photos, plus their agent saw my dash cam video which clearly shows what happened. So whose fault is it that the front was completely neglected? The insurance company, or the shop who should have been inspecting the car anyway regardless of what the initial estimate read? I'm not going to refer anyone to this place, and now I have to find another shop to inspect and repair the front end of my car because these people either A) couldn't be bothered, or B) are clueless and have no idea what they're doing. read more

Brought my car here two months ago for some extensive body repair. They told me 6 weeks. It's now been two months. I've had to do constant contact to just even hear updates about my car. I've been told three times "oh you'll get your car this Friday" or "it'll be done this week". I didn't realize how hard it is for a body repair shop to fix a car. I understand the COVID restrictions and I've been more than understanding. But now here I am on Monday hearing from them about how they just found out a broken control arm and don't know when the car will be ready. At what point did you find thiI'm sorry but your a repair shop? How are you just finding out about this? If I had the tools and the lift I would have had this job done in a week by myself. For anyone who gives a shit about their car don't bring it here. - fast forward a week later. I got my car back and the job wasn't done right. How pathetic. I bring the car back to have the job done right. While I'm there mike speaks to me about my car and all the things he took upon himself to do. One of those things being how he decided not to total out my car... interesting how I never even knew this was an option. I never told mike not to do that. I simply said fix my car, not to do everything in his power to not total out the car. But regardless I got my car back again today. Boy oh boy. They only corrected one mistake they made. Not only that no one was there to talk to me about what was fixed or done w my car. I took it back because the car was misfiring and still is. They had the car for a total of 11 weeks and it is still not done right. Are you serious? I now am going to go out of my pocket and just taking it to the shop I had a feeling I should've brought the car too. Good job Regos. Had my car for 11 weeks and you told me you would return it to me in the same condition as before and were so far from meeting that standard. So I'll say it again anyone who gives a shit about their car please don't waste your time w a place like this. They will have your car longer than they should. Won't keep you updated. Won't give you details about your car. Will make choices for you that should only be left to the owner of the vehicle. And then try to make you feel like shit for being angry about the shitty job they've done. They lie, disrespect you, and can't even apologize for it. I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I've had 2 experiences with this business and both of them were fantastic! Everyone at Rego's was very nice and professional. They run their business Iike a well oiled machine. They took care of everything and even arranged a rental car that I could drive home right away. I was in and out within 30 minutes. When I called to check in, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. When I got my car back it was absolutely beautiful! They walked me through the repairs that they did and even showed me pictures of my car mid way through the repair so I know they did a really thorough job. I was already very pleased with Rego's and then I was even happier when I saw that they fully reconditioned the inside of my car too! I really felt like my car was brand new again! read more

If you are looking for a top notch body shop, Rego's is where you should go. Everyone is very friendly and they do a great job of putting you at ease in a normally stressful situation. They have their own fleet of rental cars (i got a brand new Camry), so the process of dropping off your car for repair is seamless. I sent my car in for repair after it was sideswiped on the entire driver's side. After a few weeks, I got my car back and it was BETTER than new. The body work was absolutely perfect and the metallic paint was blended flawlessly. They even went above and beyond and fixed an unrelated dent on the back passenger side. My car's interior was reconditioned and exterior buffed and waxed. You can tell that they take great pride in their work and want to make sure that every customer is totally satisfied. I just want to take a minute to express how thankful I am for Regos auto body and the whole Rego family. On Dec 31st I was involved in a serious accident caused by a distracted driver. My 2019 Silverado was badly damaged. I looked at my truck and thought, no way it's going to come back like the way it was when I purchased. I dealt with Mike Rego and his father Carlos Rego and they had me in there office the next day with a rental truck ready, as soon as they opened. There service and professionalism is unbeatable by anyone else. Mike informed me that it would be a big job but it would come back perfect. While my truck was being worked on Mike would send me updates on how everything was going and he assured me that it was going to come back perfect. It was a very stressful month for me as I was injured during the accident so his reassurance took a heavy weight off of my shoulders. When I went to pick my truck up recently my jaw dropped, it was absolute perfection. The truck looked better than it did when I bought it from the dealership. Got into a minor car accident over a month ago and was referred to Rego Auto Body by a friend. I didn't have excessive damage but just enough that it was no drivable and I wanted to make sure the person at fault didn't get away (he fled the scene of the accident but I managed to follow him until he did). Rego's took me in right away and gave me a rental. They said it would take up to 3 weeks because they were very busy. 3 weeks came and went and I didn't hear anything, so I called. They said they were still working on it and would call me when it was ready. A month later, they called me to come pick up my car and to tell you the truth, I couldn't even recognize it! They fixed more than just that minor damage from the accident. They went above and beyond - the car looks like I just bought it off the lot. It was repainted, repaired body, vacuumed, washed, waxed... It looks amazing. Even though it was a longer wait than anticipated, it was worth it in the end. read more

Please beware!!! Worst service I have ever received, ever. Dropped my car off two weeks before Christmas, still have not received a call. Have called three times now, once a week, and not a single person has been helpful. Now it's January 31st. At arrival, it was busy, but even the service I received upon dropping it off made me think twice. The place is grimy and disorganized, and no one seemed to know what was going on. I should have gone elsewhere, because it only got worse from there. Looking at the other reviews I wonder if they are being discriminatory against trans folks. The collision was minimal, and the parts weren't difficult to find according to my mechanic at home (called him two weeks later because I still hadn't received my car to check on the pricing). I wish I had had the money to tow it to Maine. In addition to being unfriendly, inefficient, rude, slow, and downright lazy, their prices are through the roof.
