I am completely appalled and unhappy how I was treated. People with appointments should come first over other people.

It's high time for an updated review, as Swedish Motors has gone above and beyond the call of duty…read moreand blown me away with one simple thing: honesty. I'll spare you the details, but after a recent fender bender, our body shop tried to take us (and the at-fault driver's insurance company) for a ride. Swedish Motors inspected the vehicles, assessed the damage and then re-examined our car and determined the post-accident cause of computer shut-down. Needless to say, it wasn't from the accident. The body shop had messed up, and Swedish Motors knew it. After the body shop tried and tried again to blame it on the accident, Swedish Motors really went to bat for us and stood firm -- they felt it was only right that the body shop be held responsible for the damages, and would not allow for a false insurance claim. They helped us every step of the way over a month-long period. I was, and still am, totally impressed away by their customer service, compassion and morals. Aside from that saga, this is the only place we take our VW and Saab for mechanical work. They're timely, thorough, and extremely kind. I love that this little family-run business is always bursting at the seams with work, and rightfully so -- I wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else. Swedish Motors 4 Life!

I had to walk to pick up my S60 after I dropped it off that morning for 50,000 mile sievice, and wouind up needing new brakes too. I was running late and called to let them know. They drove down the road and picked me up while I was walking there.. One unfortunate downside -- and I do think this is a downside -- I paid with my Visa bank card (not credit card) but they charge 4% if you pay by any card. I'd have brought by checkbook if I had known that. I wound up costing me $65 more to use my bank card. That's steep when you are getting a full brake job. I could have paid by check just as easy and saved that money. They do have a small sign in the stoe that says that but I honestly didn't see it. Other than that -- I do recommend them. Very nice owner.
