Very disappointing experience. Relatively minor damage took 5 + weeks. What was most aggravating is when calling for and update (they won't) we were consistently given erroneous info, i.e. parts are in and 8 days later we are waiting on parts. Communication never seemed to be accurate. I can't say the work looks bad however the aggravation throughout the entire process was stressful and simply awful. My mechanic advised against using them for this very reason however I didn't listen and regret that decision. read more

This place right here is a big sham....MELISSA the shop manager should have been fired A LONG TIME AGO!!!.. your buisness is going to go to the shit with this lady running it...so I came to this shop only for an appraisal and some how got locked in for them to do the whole job.......Geico has an office in this place which is fishy???...so a week later after they been working on my car, I go in to check on my car etc...I look inside my car and all of my stuff from the trunk was stuffed in my car.....(whyyyyy) and damaged my front passanger leather seat ..So I was not happy at all...I told her how I felt she didnt like my wording and threw me out..then why would you still want my buisness when I cant come to your establishment??..she just dont like ppl who are going to speak up and call her out on her wrongs!!..they must deal with alot of ppl who just let them be crooks and have no care for their belongings....mind you.. I explained prior of how I take care of my car etc....so 1 month later my car was "finished".... the job they did was poor...paint is cracking...theres spots where they messed up the prep work so the paint has places where you can see it will chip soon...and they agreed they messed up that they destroyed my leather seat etc....my trunk latch plastic cover they lost/missing??...my emblems were put all in the wrong places... the weather strip for my trunk was not there so moisture got in the trunk..I had over spray on my black rubber surrounding back windshield and under back bumper...my gas cap door is sunk in before it was flush with the exterior...the list goes on and on...this place has no ppl looking over the shop manager...all the ppl in this place dont care but one guy dont know his name but he should leave and find a new job since he is not like them!..PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!...DONT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE AFTER AN ACCIDENT..SMH...(this is the kicker)...in order to fix all the wrong they did, they want us to pay out our pocket the deposit for a rental...again I understand when you get a rental there is a deposit...but why should I pay even if I get it back for your poor work/mistake?..then tries to be all technical about the rental process as if they follow their own policy/laws go figure...lol...idk where you going to get that deposit from but its not going to be from me!!..will be updating with more pics...this is for (PAWTUCKET LOCATION) cant speak for the others. read more

My Fiance brought his truck in for a back end collision. Upon speaking to the insurance, we told them that we only wanted them to assess the damage - however, we he got to the collision center he was told that they do not do that and that he had to leave the truck. Thankfully they gave him a loaner car. When we received the truck back, we noticed several things wrong. The muffler was never fixed, the trim on the back of the truck was still damaged and the pin striping that was damaged was replaced with a different color... but here is the kicker... they only replaced the damaged spot not all of the pin striping so now there is two different colors on one side of the truck and it looks horrible. The original was a gold, they replaced with a cranberry. I would not recommend them as now we have to bring the truck back to have it repaired again. read more

This place disgusts me especiialy with how Mellissa the manager turns off the phones cause "its too busy" then goes to "shes in a meeting" Out of nowhere. My overall experience with Crown Collision was meh. While the employees that I dealt with were nice enough and I was satisfied with the repairs made to my vehicle, the process could have been much better with some simple communication. I dropped my car off on a Monday and was told it would be ready on Friday. I called in the morning on Friday to confirm. When I got there on Friday afternoon, it was not ready. Apparently, the tire needed for the repair had not arrived. I understand that these things happen, but a call to tell me before I left work early would have been appreciated, especially after I called in the morning to confirm. They gave me a loaner car free of charge, but the gas tank was nearly empty and I ended up returning it with more gas than it originally had. I was then told my car would be ready the following Tuesday (as this was the long Memorial Day weekend). Tuesday came around and I never heard from anyone. I called around noon and was told that my car was ready. I'm not sure if they assumed that I could pick it up before they closed on Tuesday, as I had gone in the afternoon on Friday, but I had appointments for work that I couldn't move so a call to coordinate the pickup with me would have been appreciated. After getting my car back, I called and spoke to a supervisor to discuss my experience. She kindly offered to reimburse me for the gas that I put into the car, but also said that the tire not being there on time was out of their control. My gripe is not with the late tire, but with the lack of communication explaining that my car would not be ready. My experience with Crown Collision makes me uncertain of whether I would return for any potential repair needs. read more

I will never recommend this place to anyone. This place charged my insurance for a replacement part and did not put it in my car. They say they have the receipts for the part. So if they did get the part they either broke it putting it in my car or took the part elsewhere. They welded or glued the part back together again instead of replacing the part. The owner refuses to call me back. The manager Melissa was extremely rude. GEICO made the situation better by getting involved and going over there to deal with them. I did get my money back for the part. But beware people and check your cars. If they did this to my car I'm sure they did this to many more. read more

I would not recommend this body shop. The only reason I went here in the first place was because my insurance company recommended it. After having my suv for a week, they gave it back unfinished & with missing parts. I had to schedule another full week without my vehicle just to have them give it back to me with 3+ different shades of paint on the driver side (when we discussed this concern of mine ahead of time). I wish there were more stars I could give this place. They impressed me so much. I had an accident that crushed my front passenger side. I brought my car in, who was dubbed "Rosie the Rogue," and was so nervous. It didn't take long before Melissa met me with her beautiful bubbly personality and she calmed my nerves, she took me on a tour of their top of the line facility and made me feel so much better. I was estimated that the process would be completed by Wednesday and I would be able to pick up Rosie the Rogue. Friday while at work I received a call from Melissa and she said Rosie was ready for pickup. Not only was my car complete a whole 5 days early but when I got my car she was perfect. She was clean and looked better than she did when I bought her brand new. I can not thank you guys enough. You guys are literally the best. My 2012 Accord was side swiped with only 2134 miles on it and my insurance company offered Crown Collision as a prepared shop. I was hesitant at first but after meeting with Rachelle (I think she is the owner) she assured me that the repairs to me vehicle would be invisible and that they would take care of all of the paperwork my insurance company required. As a amateur of fact she provided me with a car to use and made me feel that she actually cared. Every member I had the pleasure of interacting with treated me like I was their only customer. My vehicle was repaired in only 3 days (there was 12k of damage according to my insurance company) and looks brand new! I work Ina service business and deal with customers each and every day so when I experience exceptional service I feel the need to recognize it. Rachelle, Maria and Anthony made a horrible accident a bearable experience and I now have "friends in the business ". I won't hesitate to send my friends and family to Crown to see Rachelle and if I am ever in another accident, there is no other place I would take my car. read more

I'm worried most people only write reviews when they're unhappy. This instance is the opposite for me. I was really impressed with the customer service quality and care I received at Crown Collision. My SUV needed body work after being side-swiped by a big rig. My insurer, Geico, offices with Crown and recommended I get my car repaired by Crown. Kudos all around: 1. My Geico rep Jason was great and really made the process easy --- great customer service. Excellent. Great attitude. If I were starting a business that need a customer service expert, I would hire Jason. 2. Every employee I dealt with at Crown was wonderful. They turned around the car in two days ---- AND gave my car a free detail cleaning (it needed it). They didn't have to go the extra mile, but did. 3. They turned around the repair in 3 days ---- I thought it would take a week. 4. They gave me a free loaner car --- no expense. 4. As I was paying the bill, the owner came out and made sure I was happy with everything. This kind of blew me away. Great lady. Everything was great. Consumer Beware! Two tires and rims were stolen from my Altima. Being insured by Geico, they referred me to Crown Collision in Pawtucket, RI. Although the people in the office were efficient and friendly. One month after driving the car, one of the replaced tires flew off the car while driving 65 on the highway. Talk about your heart skipping a beat or two. Luckily, I was not hurt and no one else was injured, the next ordeal was how to get the tire from the other side of the highway. Triple A called their troops and rerouted traffic and got my tire. Kudos to them! Needless to say, I will never bring my car to Crown Collision ever!! read more

Where do I start, I'm sure a lot of you see these reviews and disregard but please take this review very seriously to avoid the scam artists at Crown Collision. For starters, I took my vehicle there and was delivered incomplete work. At first, I was unaware the work was incomplete. It wasn't until the car was inspected by the manufacturer that the work was not only incomplete but they used cheap aftermarket parts. I addressed my concerns and they told me I would have to pay additionally for parts, which in my opinion is a form of insurance fraud. Lastly, I told them they would be reporting their organization and I was met with "we can't help you" and a hang-up. Be very wary of Crown Collision. These are bad people that do really shitty work. When I first got here Jessica was amazing she gave me outstanding service we laughed, related to one another, she was extremely helpful and even helped me take out my daughters car seat and put it back in. I got into a car accident with my daughter and it's very hard for me to get child care especially for things that DONT INVOLVE WORK! Seriously the most rudest person I've ever came across Melissa the "manager" told me you're going to have to get out of work to pick up your car i don't know who her ass thinks she is to tell me I have to miss out on making money to pick up my car. In result of that conversation I respectfully hung up on her because not only her tone but I could feel her anger through the phone ! I cannot even begin to think of the words to describe how thankful I am to this shop! I waited two weeks for my mini cooper to be fixed after a collision that dented in my driver door, fender, and mirror. And this wait was well worth it! Not only did they do an incredible job To the exterior where the damage was done but they also completely detailed the entire inside of my car which I did not expect but I fully appreciate! My car looks better than it did when I bought it and the customer service was outstanding! I highly reccomend this shop to anyone that needs auto body work done! This is my first time at Crown Collision in Pawtucket and I have to say, this might be the best location. I previously went to Crown in Bristol to have some body work repaired. In 2014, my car was in an accident and both front and rear bumpers were placed by Crown. A couple of years later the paint from the bumpers started to chip away. I originally contacted Geico and Crown to address my concerns. The work had been backed by Crown for any defects. I brought my car over to the Bristol location and the shop manager said he'd take care of it. 3 hours later I get a call back saying that they wouldn't take care of it. Obviously frustrated I decided recently to give it another shot. I contacted a Geico supervisor instead of the previous rep I spoke too, he spoke to Crown's owner, which than spoke to Melissa over at Crown in Pawtucket and 1 week later, my car was headed back to Crown (this time at the Pawtucket location). It took a little longer than expected but now she's finally all repaired. Melissa was beyond helpful and apologetic. Thanks to her and everyone who worked with me on this, my car is all back to standards. As long as the paint doesn't chip again this time, I'll be happy to return to THIS location for any future repairs. read more

Incredibly disappointed with the service I was provided with. After a great phone call with a woman named Melissa setting up my appointment I was greeted with the complete opposite experience upon arrival. The woman who was helping me (may or may not have been Melissa, was not given a name) was very nonchalant, asked to see my ID and told me I was unable to get the loaner I was offered due to having a Connecticut license and license plate. The woman told me they did not know I was from Connecticut even though the paperwork in front of both her and I clearly stated my Connecticut Address and car information, I pointed this out to her and still she did not apologize for their confusion or their mistake, she seemed not to care at all. She then went to her manager to ask if I could receive the loaner with my CT license and he swiftly told her no and moved on. The manager did not address me at all, and neither one made any effort to help me, they expected me to leave my car with them and figure out my own transportation by spending more money to rent a car from them. Ironically when setting up my appointment they offered the loaner on their own when I mentioned I would provide my own transportation back to my home. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Good customer service would have went a LONG way. read more

My neighbor ran into my bumper, and her insurance company, Geico told me to go to Crown to have it taken care of. After reading some of the reviews here, I was a bit nervous about doing so, as I was concerned the work might be subpar. Overall, I was very happy with the experience. The people at Geico and Crown were super friendly, and the repair took 2 days. I had taken the car other place for estimates, and most places insisted that the bumper needed to be replaced. This seemed wasteful to throw away an entire bumper when just the paint had been scraped off. Crown repaired the bumper rather than throwing it away, and now it looks good as new. My only complaint is that when I inspected it before picking it up, I noticed there were some bubbles in the paint on the repair, like some air or dust had gotten caught up in the paint. I mentioned this, and they took the car away to buff out the imperfections. They brought it back, and it still wasn't quite perfect. So they took it away again, and buffed it until it met my approval. So in the end the job was perfect, I just had to use a careful eye and keep sending it back until it was correct. But now the bumper looks brand new! They also did a great job cleaning out the inside of my car (they somehow found keys I had long since chalked up as missing, and had them waiting for me in my cupholder!) So if you get an estimate somewhere else that insists on an expensive repair that involved replacing giant pieces of your car over superficial damage, bring it here read more

I was very pleased with the office personnel. They took my car in last minute and were super nice about it. The Geico adjuster on the other hand. The adjuster came out to look at my vehicle insinuated that I have a lot of unrelated damages on my car. Which was fine. Fast forward to picking up my car. Car looks great nice & shiny repairs were done to my roof & hood. It's absolutely freezing out. I jump in my car. Starts up wicked loud I'm like okay it's just cold needs to heat up. I proceed to drive. It gets louder and louder. I also notice one of the rear anterior lights will not shut off. I call crown collision and ask what happened? The receptionist told me to bring my car back the shop right away. I returned to the shop later that afternoon to be told that my exhaust is hanging to due to normal wear and tear. My car did not sound like a dirt bike when I dropped it off now it does. The shop is refusing to take responsibility for damaging my car. Geico is in cahoots with crown Collision Center. I highly recommend that you NEVER use a body shop working with your insurance company. Complete ripoff. I'll never recommend this business to a soul. Front office staff were professional and efficient. Not only did Crown Collision do a great job fixing my car, but also when I started to drive away I noticed that someone had vacuumed the inside of my car and detailed the entire dashboard. I was new in town and they told me they would "help me out", but when the estimate that they worked out for a windshield replacement with my insurance company was $308, and then they charge me $398 PLUS a $100 install fee that doesn't give me confidence in the rest of the work done. read more

Our 2007 Toyota Rav4 had damage to the rear bumper and to parts behind the bumper as a result of backing into a parked car. We were referred to Crown Collision by a Toyota dealership. My interactions with Nicole (Assistant Manager) and Rachelle (General Manager) of Crown Collision were pleasant and professional. They provided us with a courtesy car while our car was at the shop and performed repairs within a reasonable period of time. After returning home with the repaired car my wife and I noticed a scratch on the driver's door that had not been there prior to bringing it in for repairs. I phoned Crown Collision and was asked to bring it back the following day to be looked at. The next morning I prepared myself to receive some resistance from Crown Collision, thinking they may say something like, "We are not responsible for that scratch because it could have happened while parked in the parking lot", or a similar remark. But, to their credit, they made necessary repairs to the scratch and again allowed me use of a complimentary vehicle while performing the work. We are pleased with the all repairs and service we receive from Crown Collision. A job well done. read more

Both the Geico agent working at Crown and the Crown service personnel were top notch. They gave me plenty of information, updates throughout the entire repair, and kept to the timelines they gave me.
