I have never had anything but bad experiences using body shops, but my wife found these guys and they were fantastic. The folks at State took care of everything flawlessly, dealt directly with the insurance company on everything, handled my wife's car being totaled out, and kept me informed on the progress of my car's repairs every step of the way. I got my 10 year old car back looking almost as good as the day I drove it off the lot. Despite being very far from perfect and having many cosmetic flaws my wife and i decided it was a good investment. a week later i brought the vehicle back due to an oil leak. They assured me they would fix it. My salesman Richard called me and told me they found a cam seal leaking. "which cam?" i asked. i dunno he says. vehicle has 4 camshafts. later the next day after running some errands i smelled oil burning. Sure enough, its still leaking. I decided to bring it to a speacialist. They changed the oil and gave the engine a good look and told me that it was never repaired, or even attempted. then, to top it all off... he never paid off my trade. i still owe for the vehicle i traded in and the one i bought. i'd rather have gone to the dentist for an extraction without novacaine. avoid this place like Covid 19. you've been warned.

September 15 2023 - 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350; $7,000.00 in Auto repairs…read more I was referred to Pat's Auto sales/Auto Body inc. After an accident I brought my car there with the understanding that it was going to be a minor repair and they would complete all the work. When I took my car from the Autoshop when Pat's told me it was finished the emblem from the car came off. When I examined it, I noticed that the emblem had been patched. It was the same old/original emblem that broke in the accident. At that point, I was doubtful about everything that went on in that shop and subsequently brought my car to a Mercedes dealer to have experts look at my car and analyze all the repairs done to my car. I also had them provide me with a new written estimate. The Mercedes-Benz expert sent me pictures of everything that he found that was not new but was claimed as new by Pat's Auto. I submitted a complaint to the BBB and Pat's responded by recreating a false estimate with higher numbers. Their response claimed that they worked basically for free - they did not take responsibility for their neglect to fulfill their original promise but instead tried to divert the actual facts. I had to write this review to do right by people. Pat's Auto sale Auto Body inc. is a scam.

I write this review from Richmond, Virginia, not for services provided to me, but for collision…read moreservices that Angell's Collision Service delivered to my mother, who lives in Rhode Island. We've all heard the horror stories experienced by those who have been mistreated by automotive companies. Since the automotive repair industry requires specialized skill that those not in the business rarely have, abuse is unfortunately rampant. And seniors and women are especially susceptible to such abuse. My mother, a woman in her 70's had two strikes against her. This week my mother brought her car to Angell's for some repairs and was quoted a price by Robert Feuti. Having secured estimates from multiple collision repair shops, she felt that the quote that Robert had given her for her repairs was both fair and reasonable. However, in all candor, she and I both were somewhat concerned that the repair shop might (before or) after completion of the service notify her of additional charges. This is not terribly unusual in automotive repair situations. Not only did Mr. Feuti complete the repairs with impeccable results, he returned the car to my mother beautifully detailed - and for less money than the agreed-upon repair quote. My mother is thrilled with the experience and I couldn't be more relieved at how well she was treated by Angell's Collision Service. I would recommend this shop highly to anyone needing the services of a highly-skilled, reasonably-priced and customer-satisfaction oriented automotive repair service. Thank you, Mr. Feuti!
