The place is beautiful and the staff is all smiles so I believe that this is a Case of " Don't judge a book by its cover". I met with Bethany for a consultation, called several days later and made an appointment. Simple enough, right? NOT So much ! I made notes at the consultation but misplaced them. I knew that Bethany had the same notes and since I pass the spa A FEW TIMES every day on the way to work , I walked in to the spa instead of calling, to look at the notes. Well, the receptionist Serena who I guess is way too young to understand the concept of a 'walk in", either took it in offense or I must have bothered her , ( you were sitting there doing nothing, no one in the room, no one on the phone) and in addition I made the mistake of sharing the fact that I work part time and receive social security and don't have unlimited funds to spend on treatments each and every time I come in, as most women do, if they are young- with their dad's credit card or if they are older, with their husband's. When I have some extra cash, I come in and get a treatment accordingly. I guess, this did not sound sophisticated enough for Serena and she decided all on her own that this constitutes untrustworthiness and went on to share the above information with Bethany. Next thing I know..... Bethany telling me that she and I are not a good fit. Seriously ? Do you know me more or less than any other woman who comes in for a consult ? But just to humor my self ..... Why I ask? The answer... you always walk in.... and.... I am basically not to be trusted because I can't really do everything in one sitting.... I asked too many questions when I came in wanting to see my notes. Well, you get the idea, right? Since the spa is open 3 days a week only, it is not worth it for them to take me as I don't do full treatments, which translates to ....taking only high volume clients. I've never found an under eye concealer that ever really concealed bags or puff very well and how many creams can one really do to achieve a fresh look? I really like Regen Doctor. It seems as if they don't care about the money part of running a business. Yes, they do botox, fillers, PRP, and all those Allergan / Juvederm specials. Dr. Joseph Cabaret is awesome. He is honest and easy to talk to and answers all the questions. If he does not know something for sure he tells you that. I went to him with horrible pain in my left thumb joint where it meets the wrist. I went in asking about PRP and Stem Cell replacement therapy. He said I was not a candidate for Stem Cell replacement due to other health conditions I have. He suggested PRP with Cytokines added. I had it done on Feb 3, 2016 and now 2 months later my pain level most of the time is at zero where it was at 7-10 before the treatment. He told me going into it that he had never treated that joint before but had much success with shoulders and knees with PRP. I told him I was willing to try it instead of the typical cortisone shot and boy am I glad I did. I believe that over the months it will only get better.
