The staff at the clinic was accommodating and sweet from the front to the back office. They were very attentive to my son who was getting his ingrown nail procedure done. Doctor Matthews kept him distracted by talking to him while he was doing what he needed to do. It was a very comfortable atmosphere and we had an amazing experience. read more

He came into the room smiling and introduced himself. Right away, I felt comfortable but also taken aback when I said he looked very much like an actor (Sean Carrington), who also portrayed a doctor on the Young & the Restless (Y&R)!! Dr. Matthews is a very professional and thorough doctor who went over my ailment and provided a reasonable treatment plan moving forward. I had my surgery today and he came in to discuss what he would be doing with the hopes that the outcome would be what my foot needed and for me to be able to walk and run with no more discomfort. Dr. Nikamal is amazing! Located in the Oxnard location. My daughter needed to be seen for her ingrown toenail that was very painful they got me in within 1 week which is pretty good! The staff and himself were so nice and caring Dr. Nikamal took care of her toenail and was very patient and gentle with the numbing part. Incompetence all around and they do not follow up with anything. I've spent close to $1,200 out of pocket here and still encountering pain. Doctors here only care about billing your insurance, staff only follow up with payments. read more

Came in for the first time and had the most pleasant and amazing visit here! I received surgery from Dr. Matthews on both big toes to remove ingrown toenails which is normally a horrific experience but it was so great here I'd come back a million times to get them removed! I saw Dr. Mathews march24, 2021 for two toes that would not heal. I was really worried but Dr. Mathews wasn't at all and treated me like a silly girl with a sore toe. A month later I'm fighting vigorously to save that toe and one other. They weren't healing due to severe arterial disease discovered by another podiatrist that took my situation seriously and immediately ordered an ultrasound and now I'm scheduled for an angiogram. I KNEW something wasn't right and had to fight to find a competent DPM (I did, Dr. Alice Kim). I lost a month. Only time will tell if that lost time will make the difference between saving my toe/s or losing them. This is serious. I'm in a wheelchair just barely hanging on to live independently. If you suspect a real problem stay away from Dr. Mathews!! read more

I had a bad ankle sprain and needed to be seen ASAP. Luckily I got in the same day, was greeted by Jeanette at the front desk, and filled out my paperwork. Dr. Langroudi and his team are the best at what they do. I've never experienced such warmth and professionalism with any other healthcare provider in the past. I not only would recommend them to everyone, but feel like I have a vested interest letting everyone know of my experience, as it was apparent they had a vested interest in providing the utmost attention and care to my needs. I can not say enough about Dr. Hong and his assistant, Janette. I just completed my second bunion removal and I could not be happier or more satisfied. Janette dealt with my HMO, which was no small feat, and cheerfully and thoroughly answered all of my numerous calls and questions over the past 6 months. Brian Hong is competent surgeon and sports medicine doctor, and has a fabulous bedside manner. My husband and I are both singing his praises. I hobbled into the Foot & Ankle Concepts Oxnard location after being reduced to putting Lidocaine patches on the bottom of my feet and limping from Achilles Tendonitis. In walked Dr. Nikamal, whose manner is quiet, empathetic and caring. After an examination, he told me that the metatarsals pads were thinning and that was what was causing so much of my issues. He prescribed custom orthotics, a cream for a rash on my feet, gave me a simple stretch to address the Achilles tendonitis and then carefully shaved down a callus on one foot. I so appreciate his knowledge, compassion and professional care. He is a consummate healthcare provider. As a side note, when I showed up for my orthotic fitting, I was a day earlier than my appointment time. The receptionist not only said it was no problem but they fit me in anyway. The entire staff is warm, friendly and go out of their way to address any issues. I have never waited more than 5-10 minutes for my appointment, which is a huge advantage for any patient. I will never go anywhere else. read more

This foot doctor is a rip-off. First they screwed up my insurance so I had to pay cash. Next, I wanted assurance that if their expensive shoe inserts didn't work, I wanted a refund. The doctor said no problem. $125 for visit, $395 for inserts. No small change! After wearing these inserts for 5-6 weeks, my feet were worse ! I called and even stopped at their office to get my refund, they ignored me. I called their billing office at least 6 times in the past + 2 weeks. No one called me back. Tonight, the doctor leaves a voice mail on my wife's phone saying he never told me he would refund my cash payment if I wasn't satisfied. So, he's calling me a liar? Today I filed in Small Claims Court. I'm sick and tired of being treated this way and being ripped off. read more

Generally competent but I have to say that I was very upset after I paid $390 for a pair of custom orthotics and when I went to pick them up they charged me for an office visit for that day when all the doctor did was trim them to fit my shoes. I have had orthotics made at other podiatrist offices and was not charged for the pick up office visit. I questioned it and they would not do anything about it. I think they should have advised up front the true full cost. read more
