We have been going to Dr. Veselak for different injuries for over 20 years and he has always been able to treat our various pains with great care. The only time he was not able to treat my pain was over a decade ago and he told me to go home and wait 2-3 days and if the pain was not better see a orthopedic specialist. That time he didn't charge me since he did not perform any treatment. I don't know of any other doctor who would treat their patients this way. Today I had two issues, one with my knee and the other with a very painful foot that I could hardly put any weight on. After only a 20 minute session I went home and a couple of hours later I am 80% better and able to walk! I can't say enough about Dr. Veselak. He is truly a genius! His staff are also very friendly and do their best to accommodate us. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! read more

I have not yet worked with this practitioner but I did speak to this person on the phone and via email and I can see why he has good reviews because he had a very nice bedside manner. Pretty obvious to me from our simple interactions that he cares about his patients over money since he was willing to look over and actually take time to prepare BEFORE our consult UNLIKE all the other practitioners. He is very well priced for how knowledgeable he appears to be (you can check his website). read more

Dr. Veselak is the best! I felt like he pieced together a picture of my health like no other practitioner had before. I started noticing the difference as soon as I started taking the supplements for my thyroid. I recommend him to all my family and friends. Thank you so much Dr. Veselak! read more

He always finds the root cause of the problem and comes up with a solution that has always made a big difference. On top of that, he is a great encourager so that you don't give up and lose hope for a solution. For over 25 years now I have recommended him to my friends and family. Great guy. read more

Dr. Veselak fixed a shoulder problem I had about 10 years ago that other chiropractors couldn't figure out. He did it in 1 visit. I've been going to him ever since when my back flares up and I've NEVER been disappointed. read more

I've worked with Dr. Mike Veselak for 30 years now - wanting to keep my body in alignment as I age....now, far closer to 70 than 60! Let me start with this. The Gentleman excels with common sense and deep knowledge of his field. He also listens to you and factors YOUR body. Then let me add Dr/patient trust...which comes/grows from the previous comments. These past two years have been super stressful as I walked with a dear young friend and colleague through her terminal cancer journey. In July 2021, I developed a headache. I never get headaches - chalked it up to the windy days and allergies. The headache hung on for some 2 weeks...my neck and shoulders were tight. I scheduled and saw Dr. Mike. He checked me head to toe - YES, my shoulders and neck were tight - he did an adjustment and off I went. I am fortunate to be very loose jointed - bend like a pretzel and thought that would be the end of my headache. Come Monday, still had the headache and scheduled another appointment...I had a bit of a tingle in my neck and face as I turned my head - thought I had overdone my daily 8+ hours of computer time. Dr. Mike walked in - I shared the details - he looked down and said, "Patti, I see a bit of a red flag. It's that tingling and the fact that you never have headaches. Let's not do anything today - but here is what I want you to do. Get in your car and drive directly to your medical Dr. - tell the front desk exactly what you have told me and ask to have a blood pressure reading." I did just that - took my BP reading. Was 210/140. I was in 'Hypertensive Crisis' - immediate danger of a stroke. I was with my Dr. for some three hours as they retested me over and over again throughout the time. Never dropped. I was immediately sent for a Stat CT w/wo contrast. Came back negative for stroke or other milder events. Started BP meds that night. Let me add - no muscle weakness - no dizziness - no slurred speech. NOTHING would have led me to believe I was in such danger. I had life long LOW BP! Several take-aways on this. If not for me seeking medical help by listening to my body....if not for Dr. Mike Veselak's deep knowledge AND his amazing ability to treat and listen to EACH patient individually, I would have had a stroke and perhaps died. When I saw him next, I relayed this story and have relayed it many times since then. Allow me to pass along my strongest recommendation of Dr. Mike Veselak, should you seek a chiropractor. I truly believe I am here today due to Dr. Mike's deep knowledge, talents, thoroughness, ability to listen. read more

Why did I wait so long?! Dealing with ecezema for years has been challenging and as I've gotten older it's progressively gotten worse. Taking OTC antihistamines has been taking a toll on my body and quite frankly no longer working. I've also been dealing with hot flashes! What I thought were just women complaining about sweats and how awful they are, is now my reality. Luckily knowing someone who works at CFH and following her story of success on social media helped me make the decision to call and make an appointment to meet with Dr. V. After only a couple of months on his regiment, I no longer take OTC antihistamines, my skin is 95% clearer and my hot flashes are more tolerable. IThank you CFH! . You've been a life and game changer! Best OFFICE experience. read more

Dr. Vesalak is AMAZING! From the base of my skull down to my hips was a complete nightmare of pain for over a month. I thought I just pulled something. When the pain was too much to bear I reached out to my trusted friends and was referred to Dr. Vesalak with HIGH HIGH regard. Dr. Vesalak made room for me the same day without hesitation. He was thourough, professional and personable. My back, he said, was something he didn't come across too often, it was extremely tight, and not in a good way. He worked with me successfully, over a few weeks. I always knew he had my best interest in mind. I now go to see him about 1 time a month, for a simple adjustment! I refer him to everyone that asks! Dr. Vesalak, thank you, sincerely! read more

Dr. Veselak and his wife, Pam, are the perfect duo! They are the loveliest people and care so much about their clients. Marilyn, who works at the desk is so warm and inviting every time I walk though the door. I went to a doctor before them who never really took the time and care for his patients, but Dr. Veselak and Pam exceeded all my expectations. I feel cared for and understood and most importantly; heard. Working together as a team to try and heal myself from the inside out. You are getting the best care and kindness when you walk through their doors. So glad I found them! :-) read more

I have been to several chiropractors and doctors over the past 30 years dealing with my lower back pain. Nothing and no one has been able to alleviate this pain. At 56 years now, it became literally unbearable and I was referred to Dr Veselak. He took the time to listen to me fully examine me and test the strength of various muscles. He developed a comprehensive 6 week plan to address various issues contributing to my sharp biting lower back pain. At just over 6 weeks, on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being unbearable pain, my pain has dropped from a 9 to a 2 -- and I really feel great. I am making more progress each week and Dr Veselak has been with me every step of the way. He has been realistic and measured in his diagnosis and comprehensive in his plan for my lower back pain. read more

Dr. Vesalak has a pleasant, funny, highly technical, and informative communication style. He's knowledgeable in functional medicine which enables him to consider additional holistic approaches for possible underlying issues. I'm not one to leave yelp reviews but I must say Dr. Vesslak is the first doctor I've seen where I felt like he genuinely listened to my every concern. Growing up I've always had numerous health problems and felt a common theme of doctors brushing off my issues and assuming "well she's a growing teen" Dr. Veselak is not only the first doctor to accurately diagnose me but also laid out every step in detail I needed to take to feel better. I am beyond thankful to have met him and would recommend him to any family or friends. Meeting with him improved my overall quality of life and I'm very grateful. read more

I usually don't post reviews... unless I feel passionate about something/someone. Dr. Veselak is the best chiropractor ever! I've been coming to him off and on for almost 30 years. Whenever a problem of some sort flares up I go see him and he fixes it! He's helped me with my sciatica, carpal tunnel, neck strains... just to name a few. He has this incredible ability to zero in on the problem and fix it. He also happens to be a super nice guy! read more

I haven't had to go back to Dr. Veselak for over a year, but stupidly lifted a crate of heavy avocados, ugh. I saw the Dr. on a Wednesday and he thought recovery would be about a month because of the injury and the swelling around the joint. After 4 visits, however, I'm as good as new. Still a little bit sore, but that's to be expected. I have given Dr. Veselak the rock star name "Mc V". He helped me so much, once again. He is an excellent chiropractor and he really doesn't want to keep seeing you. He wants his patients healed. Can't rave enough or thank him enough! read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Veselak and his office. I have gone to see him on a handful of occasions over the past year and a half for back, neck and shoulder pain that I had been experiencing since my early twenties (I'm 30 now). When I first came into his office he examined me and asked me questions about my health and diet. He explained to me that I had a lot of inflammation in my stomach which was causing me pain in my shoulders, back and neck. I was shocked that he discovered that since I have had stomach issues my whole life (that had never been properly diagnosed) and I didn't mention that to him until afterward. Long story short, I started eliminating certain foods from my diet starting with dairy and then Gluten. Soy was next but I was impatient and decided to get allergy tested. Come to find I am allergic to so many things like yeast and beans?! but the number one culprit is SOY. I have been eating soy my whole life, especially during my 7 years as a pescetarian. After cutting out soy as much as possible and cutting back on coffee, I have gotten so much relief from my stomach pain and it's helped my neck and shoulder pain as well. I still have some issues with my back due to years of bad posture at a computer, but I will be going to get adjusted every few months to keep that in check. After his adjustments I feel so much better! Dr. Veselak has helped me so much. He is the only Dr. I have ever met who tries to find the root cause of my problems instead of just masking them with medications. I will be forever grateful. read more

Dr. Veselak is a gifted healer, compassionate doctor and wonderful human being. I am so blessed to have been referred to him by my good friend Marylin. After dealing with several issues for so many years Dr V. was able to get to the root of my problems. I was starting to think I was crazy because every test, scan and ultra sound came back negative. I went to various doctors and they all just assumed I was dealing with a thyroid issue. I'm so grateful that instead of assuming or guessing I found a doctor that cares enough to work hard and dive deep into the issue at hand until it is resolved. I feel like my health and my life is back on track. For these reasons I highly recommend Dr Veselak! read more

I write this as I am about to move out of state. I don't know how I will ever find a doctor as good as Michael Veselak. I have been to many Chiropractors during my 63 years. I have had very mixed results with most of them. Dr. Veselak was referred to me by a professional trainer a few years ago. Seeing him was the best thing I ever did. Although I am now older, I am still very active. I am a retired Law Enforcement officer who likes all the "guy" stuff. Motorcycles, fast cars, hunting, fishing, shooting. The kind of things that I thought I might have to give up when I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis. I went to a top orthopedic surgical center in Van Nuys. They work miracles on broken cops, firefighters and athletes. I had X-Rays, Neurological tests, MRIs and steroid shots. Nothing stopped the pain. I was resigned to get lumbar surgery even though there was no guarantee that it would solve my very unique problem. I worked with Dr. Veselak for a long time. We got to know each other very well and I knew he took a very personal interest in helping me. He tried many techniques that brought some relief for periods of time but the problem recurred. Bear in mind that none of the procedures were painful, he is the most gentile guy! At one point he decided to go outside of the box and look at my diet. He had me make some simple changes in my eating habits and kept an eye on my progress. Wow, I had immediate relief and I ended up losing 15 pounds and a couple of inches off my waist. These were things I wanted and needed to do anyway! Dr. Veselak is a realist when it comes to orthopedic surgery. He reviewed the surgery that was recommended for me and agreed that that would be the procedure that would be most appropriate for me. The concern he and the surgeon had was that my case was not typical. Neither one of them was positive that the surgery would solve the problem. BOTH of them agreed that if I could get relieve without the surgery, that would be the best way for me to go. So, I continue to keep the pain and the surgery at bay thanks to Dr. Veselak. If you are reading this because you are looking for someone to help you with your pain, make an appointment to see Dr. Veselak. It could change your life. He helped change mine! read more

Okay, Dr. Veselak has literally changed my health for the better to say the least!! I had stomach issues that had lasted over two years and I had gone to a few regular medical doctors on my insurance. No one could help, and honestly I don't think they really cared. Dr. Veselak's treatment program is all natural and it is formulated to be exactly what your body is in need of. It's based on your own personal DNA, so he dials in on what is going on in your body. Not a guessing game, or a one type fits all by any means! Also Dr. Veselak is driven by actually helping the patient, and will work on your issue as long as it takes for you to get well. Super professional and compassionate. I can't think of even one negative thing to say. I have referred all my friends and family and he has helped so many!! read more

I had pain in my shoulder for over a year. My Orthopedist said it was bursitis and instructed me to go physical therapy. I went for several weeks to a large facility where everyone was very nice but I was shuffled around and seen by several different people in each visit. My shoulder improved although not 100%. Back to the Orthopedist who now had me get an MRI and instructed me to go back to PT. Looking for a more personal experience, a tennis friend of mine raved about Dr. Vesalak. I had never been to a chiropractor before but since he also has a physical therapist in his office I made an appointment. He confirmed the bursitis diagnosis but the main problem was my shoulder was not rotating in the socket, it was almost frozen. The treatment at his office was much more personal, I was not shuffled around and only saw him and the wonderful PT on his staff. They worked on loosening the shoulder socket and building the muscles that support it. He knew exactly where to press and what to adjust to get it moving again. I can now reach for something without going into a spasm of pain and play tennis, yea!! I highly recommend Dr. Vesalak and his staff. Thank you, thank you Dr. V. read more

Dr. Mike is a true professional. In the first visit he new exactly what my problem was with my back and went to work immediately. Within two visits I can already feel the results of his treatment. Finally, I have found a chiropractor in town who understands the ART of chiropractic. He's the only DC in town who knows how to work on my back. I've tried everyone else and Dr. Veselak is the best for my old and tired back. Between sitting at a desk all day and playing golf on weekends, my back is punished, but Dr. V puts me back in good shape. I enjoy his easy demeanor and we often chat about common interests. His staff is friendly and warm. His office is not a factory like some other places. The wait is never long...just enough to sit in the lobby to chill-out and block out the workday's hectic thoughts from your mind, and you're summoned to one of the exam rooms. If you are searching for a terrific chiropractor in Camarillo, you should try Dr. Veselak out. I'm really glad I did. read more

Dr. Veselak is so very smart, talented and has a great "bedside" manner. He was able to pretty accurately tell me what to expect over the next few days from my neck injury. Every visit to him proceeding that I felt a little better. He did not push expensive tests or un-needed care on me, which I know a lot of Chiropractors would do. I will definitely go back and see him soon for an adjustment and would highly recommend him to a wonderful resource right here in the Camarillo area. After seeking a functional doctor for sometime, Dr. Veselak was highly recommended by several families in my community. In 2003, I was told I have condition and that there was nothing I can do, fatty liver not related to alcohol. I didn't seek help at that time. But, in 2016, I had an ultrasound and there was a secondary finding...my liver again. This time it was more than double the normal size, still fatty and now with an inflamed portal vein. How could this be? I eat well, I'm athletic and rarely drink. I was sent to a Gasto doc by my insurance and I was told there wasn't anything I can do or that he could do to help. There had to be and I wanted answers as to why my liver was this way. I then saw Dr. V. Tests were ran, and I finally had an answer. I was put on a plan after genetic testing and waited to do my follow up ultrasound for about 6 months. I wanted to see if Dr V's plan was working. I had my ultrasound in Dec 2019 and received the results last week. My fatty liver has been completely reversed! My liver is now "normal" and in "normal appearance"! No negative findings. Forever grateful. Thank you, Dr. Veselak! If you are seeking the "why" and want answers, please go see him! read more

I moved out of the area and am now looking for a new chiropractor. It occurred to me that I had been remiss in not posting a review of Dr. Veselak. It's the least I can do for his wonderful care of my upper back and neck over the last three years or so. Here are the reasons for my 5 star rating: The doctor is highly knowledgeable about his craft, and gives me the impression that he cares enough to always update his knowledge level. He has a soft touch with adjustment and prescribes only treatment(s) and number of visits your condition requires. He definitely has a holistic approach to health. From a personality standpoint, he's funny, personable, and conversant about various topics. From a cost standpoint, he is not particularly expensive, and I say this after having seen about 4 other chiropractors in Ventura County prior to him. He was personally referred by my primary physician. What more can I say besides I will miss him greatly. I can only hope I can find a replacement who is as competent and caring. The doctor is great, and so is Marilyn at the front desk! When I first started with Dr. Veselak, his front office was sort of managed by himself and another service provider in his office. After Marilyn came on board, everything worked so much better administratively. She's friendly and welcoming too! read more

Dr. Veselak has helped me immensely regarding my inner health issues. The program he assigned for me was geared specifically for my needs and it made my everyday quality of life that much better. Had I not been seen by him, nor trusted him when I did, my discomfort and inflammation in my body would have been much worse! He educated me, guided me, and motivated me. For that, I am grateful! I highly recommend anyone that has ANY questions regarding Functional Health to contact him as he is extremely knowledgeable in this department! read more

I suddenly found myself in severe pain and was unable to make even the smallest movements. A friend recommended Dr. Veselak to me. I couldn't be more grateful. Most chiropractors would have immediately adjusted me. Dr. Veselak quickly realized that I was having severe muscle spasms and gave me heat and a deep massage in the area that was spasming. He indicated that an adjustment would have made me worse. I immediately experienced significant relief. I went in two more times for massages, and felt like a new person. Now, more than a week later, I am back to intermediate yoga and long hikes. Dr. Veselak and his staff are absolutely wonderful. If you want someone kind, extremely competent, and most of all honest, please see Dr. Veselak. I can't speak highly enough of him! read more

I have gone to Dr. Mike Veselak for over 25 years. He is amazing and I always have excellent results and immediate pain relief or honest evaluation of healing time. Extremely friendly and thoughtful. Earnestly listens. He is not pushy and doesn't try to sell many sessions. He is always researching and learning new information to provide whole health care. He doesn't hesitate to recommend other care if he cannot provide what you need. He found a cyst on one of my friends that other regular medical doctors never detected with numerous exams and tests. I had a back injury about 18 months ago and was told by my MD to get an MRI. MRI MD #1 says it is a bulging disc in the lower back and surgery was its only fix. GO back to my MD #2 looks at the MRI and says I need surgery. I am not really interested in surgery so I went for another opinion. Dr #3 says back surgery will solve the problem. I was in disbelief, so I searched out an alternative method. Three Chiropractor/Sports Therapists later I walk into Dr. Veselak's office and he said let's see what we can do. Over a period of about 4-6 weeks, 3 sessions a week I was pain free with no issues. He and his staff are caring professionals with the latest equipment and knowledge that the industry could ask for. A big 5 star recommend from my experience. read more
