First off, this is a brand new Company and new Management. I recently had Quartz countertops installed for our Kitchen, The cost was excellent, the work was tone with care and in a neat fashion. The scheduling and transaction was very smooth and we were kept informed throughout the entire process. Chris deserves kudos for an excellent job and taking are of any issues in a timely fashion. oh my goodness!! So I'm not crazy! He never shows up when he says he'll show up and he never calls when he says he'll call. And now after a handful of no-shows and bouts of radio silence, I see other reviews on Yelp that are saying the same thing! I should have done my homework! Our terrace designer used him for our outdoor kitchen granite -- the leathering has come off already and the gluework for the waterfall effect has turned yellow (it's been 2 months). He is either sick or going through personal issues. Which we can understand, but the no shows for set appointments has happened one too many times. So Yelp removed my review "because it didn't contain enough detail". My review was the honest truth. And therefore here comes the detail for 'yelp' and my original review for others to decide whehter or not it contained detail or not. 1. In the summer of 2016 and into 2017, I paid Paul Romano over $200,000 for materials and work. Some of it was for marble some of it was other stones and slabs and fabrication. 2. winter of 2016 - he kept the money and did not order ANY of the products that I needed. 3. he goes radio silent - every time we speak he is 'dying' in the hospital 3. early 2017 - after pushing and pushing he delivers a fraction of the product - i got a few thousand worth of what i ordered and random products that I didn not order 'in place' of my order. He still owes me everything. 4. I go to the Lodi police department to complain. THEY laugh at me. They tell me to grab a number because there are countless people and businesses with similar complaints. I would recommend Yelp and anyone else to call or go to the LODI NJ Police Dept and just inquire about Paul Romano and Sons and they will see just how factual this post is. 5. Roman and Sons shuts down around the same time - late '17 early '18. 6. Unbelievalby he reopens a month ago to rip more people off. Stay away. So many other REAL legit places in Northern NJ to go to. Got my kitchen done, and our tops came out beautiful. The job was well done and Paul is great to work with!!

Paul did a great job. Went there for a kitchen counter top and ended up with a new kitchen and new bathroom. Slightly under staffed but he got the job done on time and my wife and I love it. He new exactly what we wanted before we did. Can't wait for next project! read more

Poor customer service. I contacted them and asked if they could send someone to repair the granite I purchased from them and to seal it. I took photos of the chip as requested. I was told I would receive a call back with price. Never received one. I called again. I gave them the information one more time. Never received a call back. This is the second time I have had to ask them to repair this granite. The first time they were even worse. They gave my husband and me such a difficult time. The granite had been installed approximately 2 years earlier and was already needing repair. Very unpleasant experience. read more
