I brought my little kids here during winter break, we were excited when we looked up the menu online and saw all the various things to choose from. They DO NOT HAVE IN SEAT ORDERING! When we got there, the concession line was really long. I didn't see the restaurant located to the right. I started ordering from just the few items in the concession menu, and I just happened to ask the girl about a burger and she said those were restaurant items, but I could order with her. We ordered wings, hot dogs, fries, and icees. It took the food about 20 minutes to come out plus the 10 minutes I spent in line. We missed 30 minutes of the movie. They need to get with the times and provide in seat ordering and , not only will they get more revenue, but people won't waste time ordering and waiting for food. Well the movie started right on time -- or i should say the trailers, but all the movies have trailers. There wasn't a crowd in my movie. The sound system was amazing. I saw the new "Tron" and they had some great music. The parking out front was pretty decent. I didn't have to walk a long way to get to the theater. There wasn't a line for popcorn and drinks this time, but it could have been because I went at 5:15pm on a Tuesday. I need to make sure my rewards credits don't expire before I use them. Also they currently have a promotion going on til Christmas where if you buy $50 in gift cards, you get $10 card for the concession stand (not sure when u can use this $10 card). read more

Regal offered a free screening for Sarah's Oil, so I figured why not--and I'm so glad we went! This movie theater has been here for years and has gone through a few changes but it has always been fairly maintained and stays clean. This theater is also huge!!! It even has a second floor so you can easily exit at the top from the theaters. Lots of cozy seats and options with regular seating which have reclining cushy seats and trays that swivel for convenience. 2d, 3d, and 4d theaters. They also have a game room and offer party events. Food can get pricey but if you sign up for their rewards you can get some good discounts and free screenings which this is the first I've caught and it was worth it! I ordered the buffalo wrap with fries and they subbed the fried chicken with grilled for me and that thing was packed full and actually pretty good for theater food but the fries were cold, old, and salty. I enjoy Regal cinemas and this one has managed to maintain its "Lone Star" Texas Ranch style look to it, which makes it unique in that way. Stopped by on a Saturday evening where surprisingly it wasn't too busy. Bring a jacket or blanket as it does get cold. Ambiance: 3/5 While I enjoy the decor and the change from the standard model of what Regal cinemas has updated it's other 3 theaters to, the one thing it needs is upgrade on it's seats. I like that they recline, but some of them are broken or the leather is worn out. The screening room I was in had reclining seats with a table, which the 3 new ones only offer it to the VIP screening movies. There is a "restaurant" area that allows you to purchase food aside from nachos or popcorn and a bar. Service: 5/5 The staff was friendly and attentive unlike other branded theatres where the employees are too caught up on their cell phones. The cashier wasn't sure on a question I had and went to the extent of asking a manager, rather than just saying they don't know. The screen for my movie wasn't working so I spoke to an usher and he immediately called someone and within less than 10 minutes, our screen had visuals. Food: 4/5 I got a water and Tostitos nachos. Jalapeños is an extra charge, I remember when jalapeños were self serve and free. But now everything comes at a cost. The nachos were basic, just cheese and jalapeños. I asked for cheese on the side because when the cheese is put on, the chips get soggy and I prefer a crunchy nacho than a soggy one. I do like that the fountain drinks are self serve, so you can refill when you need and not limited to one fill. The one thing that always gets me is people going to see a movie and then talk through out it all. Some whisper and from time to time that's fine, but throughout the whole film is insane to me. It's been many years since I've been to this theater, and I was thoroughly impressed by our recent visit! The establishment was very well-kept, especially considering its age. The auditoriums were clean, the reclining seats were fully functioning and quite comfortable. The concessions areas were fully-stocked and pristine. Even the restrooms were in good condition. I really like that this theater has reclining seats but they're pretty bad quality. I think they're just old because the leather will usually be super cracked and sometimes the springs are broken so the cushion droops to one side. My husband and I came here to watch an IMAX movie and it was overall an okay experience. Average movie theater when it comes to the actual theater itself. They have a little bar/restaurant to the right when you first walk in but we don't see the point in it because you can't take your meal into the theater with you. The employees were all nice and friendly which was appreciated! Tip: the popcorn butter is located in the "drink area" that's near the theaters themselves. We spent about 5 minutes roaming around the concession area trying to find it and turns out it was hidden near the icee and coke machines! read more

Tried out this movie theatre instead of my usual CUT theatres. Worst decision ever. First off, my matinee ticket was $3 more. I skipped lunch to fully enjoy the experience--big mistake. They were out of chicken tenders, out of pretzels... fine. I let it slide. Went to find my seat and settle in, but I started getting really hungry. Left the movie to grab something else and stood in line for 15 minutes--just to get to the front and be told they were also out of nachos. No sign, no heads-up, nothing. Every line was packed, and I know I wasn't the only one waiting for food that didn't exist. To top it off, the restrooms were disgusting. Unflushed toilets, mess in the stalls--just gross. I left before the movie was even halfway through. Never again. read more

Best thing about this theater is the seats! They have comfortable reclining seats. There is a moveable armrest to create a love seat. Don't forget to sign up for their unlimited movie member program. If you watch more than 1 movie a month, it pays for itself. Well worth the price! read more

Sunday night, I decided to check out Regal Lone Star for the first time to catch Homestead (excellent movie btw). I purchased my ticket online, so I skipped the box office. My first stop was the concession stand because I was starving. I grabbed a cheeseburger meal with fries and a small drink for about $21. A little steep, but hey, theater food is rarely a bargain. The wait for food was around 10 minutes--not bad--and while I was waiting, I tried to grab my drink, but I couldn't figure out where to go. Someone finally told me the drink refill stations are down the hall. That threw me off at first, but I ended up liking the setup. It's convenient to refill your drink closer to your theater instead of trekking all the way back to the lobby mid-movie. I filled up before the show and again on my way out, and the small size was perfectly fine. The theater itself is massive, and parking was plentiful. The theater itself is dark....Like, really dark. I couldn't even see my food and ended up using my phone screen (no flashlight). Maybe not a big deal for everyone, but something to note if you're planning to eat more than popcorn. Luckily, the crowd was sparse, so I wasn't worried about distracting anyone. On the upside, the bathrooms were clean, and I saw employees cleaning the drink stations regularly. Overall, I'd definitely come back. The food was okay, the theater was clean, and the experience was chill. read more

Came here for the first time. We wanted to experience our first 4D experience and watched the Quiet Place movie. The building looks a bit old. The chairs looked new and clean enough. The 4D feature had air water shoot at you and the rows of chairs would aggressively bounce around almost making us slip off our chair lol. Definitely an experience, but that was it for me. It cost almost $50 to get 3 movie tickets to a kids cartoon movie...Then you pay $25 for 1 Soda and 1 popcorn...That is $75 for 3 people (one is an 8 year old) to go to the movies. and 3 people share a drink and 3 share a popcorn...Then everything is self service...You have to pay $2 per ticket for processing fee (absolute horse s&%t) Then you scan yourself in. The movie started on time. The theatre was cool but dirty and old. The seats were not clean and torn. The restroom was cleaned with a cheap fragrance cleanser so it was too strong and hard to breathe. It was clean though so I won't complain. Went to see Holdovers. EXCELLENT film. This theater isn't my favorite because the recliners are small and stiff. I just don't see how teens can afford a date these days. For us Seniors it was $22 for tickets and a medium popcorn was $8. They no longer are able to check purses I learned after I asked it I could use my Yeti of water in due Sjogren's Disease and I would show them it was water only. That when they told me they can't check anything. Women complained because men weren't checked. They didn't even check the tickets. We live in a world of entitlement and when businesses let them people away with it, something may just happen...a shooting, perhaps. We will go to the other theater next time. My family spent $140 on this outing - at a matinee! We made sure to come fed so that it didn't go up from there with overpriced snacks. We were initially OK with that, but then they kept us captive for a full 30 minutes, making extra $$$ off of us by showing us ads and trailers. Clearly they figure they've got our money already and can do anything they want. BTW, if you think you can hack this by pre-paying for tickets then arrive 30 minutes late - we asked. Solid four stars. My son and I went to go see a couple of movies here recently and we really enjoyed the experience. The seats are very comfy, the theaters were pretty clean. You can buy everything online through the app which makes it very easy. You simply walk in scan a barcode and get your tickets. I like the automation in the ease of doing that versus waiting in some long line to pay for a ticket. They definitely have this part down right. Like all movie theaters they have extremely high price snacks that are terrible for you. What can you do I guess. That's all movie theaters so they don't lose any stars for that. Regal was running a really good deal I think it was like 150 bucks for unlimited movies for an entire year. We jumped all over that. If you see one or two movies per year it pays for itself. You also get a ton of points at sign up so it's really worth it. I suggest getting that deal when it becomes available at a discount like we got it. I will definitely be back. read more

It's the best movie theater in Cypress, maybe in whole Houston area as well. The seats are comfortable and services are adequate and not crowded. It's sad to see traffics are reduced these days in any movie theater so I encourage people go to nearby theaters to support and stop complaining nonsenses. **UNFORTUNATELY, I can't give ZERO stars. If I could, I most definitely would.** My husband and I just had THE WORST experience ever!!! We purchased tickets at 2:48 pm to see Civil War at 7:50 pm. Our tickets were scanned with no problem when we arrived at 7:30. We were directed to Theater 16. We sat there through several ads when we noticed a large group of very young children come in. It seemed odd that they were there to watch a rated R movie, but no judgement, I guess. Then, the previews started. They were 100% kid-friendly movie previews. That's when we started wondering if we were in the wrong theater! We weren't the only ones wondering this. Another couple went out to ask and they were told Civil War is playing in that theater. Just before the movie started, my husband went to inquire about the movie and was initially told it is Civil War. That worker started to inform the parents with all the kids that they are not in the right movie theater to see Garfield when all of a sudden, the movie started. It was Garfield. Oh my Lord, I was livid! We sat through 40 minutes of ads and previews for Garfield!?! Uhm..nope. We went out to see management (along with 3 other couples) about this mix up. Apparently, Civil War was cancelled "because not enough tickets were sold" and replaced with Garfield, but no one told all the people who actually purchased tickets to Civil War!!! Not cool! To make things worse--the manager REFUSED to comp us movie passes for our time even though it was their error! She offered to refund us and that's it. What about the gas it took for us to get there? What about our time spent sitting in a theater clearly labeled 'Civil War' but not showing Civil War? What about providing good customer service?? Nope. There was none of that. Just, "we'll refund you but that's all I can do." Wow! At the very least they could have refunded us BEFORE we sat there for 30-40 minutes of our valuable time! They could have notified us via our email address before we drove out there. Something. Anything would have been better than the most terrible customer service we have EVER received. I typically don't prefer to see movies on opening weekend because the general public is very rowdy, rude, and loud, making it difficult to enjoy the premiere experience. However, tonight, one of the very kind employees started our experience off the right way being more than accommodating. Miss Jasmine came to row L of theater 9 (wicked 9:10p) and took extra time to clean our seat trays and offer kind words. She had such a pleasant demeanor. First of all, the A/C was not working outside of any of the theaters. I went with my family to watch two separate movies. During our second movie (which we paid for) a bunch of teenagers came in after the movie had started, they were loud, disruptive and constantly on their cell phones, their tablets on 100 bright mode. I asked the teenagers to please silence their phones and to please turn off their tablet and they just laughed. I then went to complain to the staff and was told they'd send someone to assess the problem. My family and I were not able to fully see the second movie, we had also bought several combos at the concessions. We wasted money on both movies (mainly the second one as well as the food we bought at the concessions) for an unpleasant experience. Regal can do better! read more

They had not had the chance to place out the new Wicked merch and they went to the back and got all of it out for me. They were so helpful and chatted with me. Not pleased... At all. Ever since the Regal takeover, things have literally gone down the hill. The menu has shrunk, the food is mediocre at best - half the time condiments and meal items are unavailable, the service is questionable, and the staff ever-changing. Not to mention - the theater itself seems to be lacking in regular maintenance and care. Half of the drink machines are out and the drink variety is long-gone since the switch to Pepsi. My family isn't soda consumers, so the options are QUITE limited. The bathrooms are NEVER clean and the concession...well - it's lacking as well. The last visit was a thorn when my boys went to get a refill on the popcorn at 6:30 in the evening and was told the popcorn wouldn't be refilled because the machines were shut down. Ugh. We used to really enjoy this theater - back when even the second story was open and popping and constantly collected a slew of free perks (movies, food, etc)... Now, it's like a ghost town riddled with disgruntled employees who would prefer to spend their time searching random movie-goers in the middle of the day. But I digress. I genuinely hope they read these reviews and make a wholehearted attempt at turning this theater around - restoring it BACK to what it was when it was a Santikos. :-/ In the meantime, I'll likely choose elsewhere to kick back and catch a flick instead. read more

Not an absolutely terrible theater... I have had the Regal Unlimited pass for quite a few months now, and it's definitely worth. It pays for itself in just two visits a month. I saw Top Gun Maverick here at least five times when it was showing. The theater could definitely use more cleaning. There was one instance where I came to see Barbarian, and there was someone sitting in my seat. It was clear they did not have a ticket. Super loud throughout the movie and had to be asked out of the second seat they moved to. The employees never used to check to see if anyone actually had a ticket or not, but it seems like they are trying to be better about it lately. read more

This place used to be nice but went to a movie for the first time since everything shut down last year. First, ticket prices for a mid day show were wild. Ended up nearly $50 for two adults. Drinks are now all Pepsi machines and there was no option for non soda drinkers i could find other than lemonade or $6 waters. And when we got in the theater it was just sad and worn. I went to the Regal Lone Star Theater in Tomball today and the movie I was seeing was showing in a theater that they were having an issue with the heating. The manager came in and announced that the movie was being moved across the hall. After reseating in that theater he again came in and apologized for us having to move and proceeded to give us free tickets to future movie of our choice with no restrictions on 3D, IMAX, etc. On top of that he also said that the concessions were open to whatever we wanted (free of charge) plus they would go get them for us. He came back twice more to check if anyone needed anything els. The movie started a few minutes late but without the trailers before. This is why I don't go to any other theater for many many years. Regal on Tomball is a disappointment. Ice dispenser was not dispensing ice we in for med manager and she insisted machines had ice. She Never got the its not DISPENSING, and the floors are in need of a good mopping. Floor in the drink area are sticky. Def not returning. read more

This place has changed a lot. The butter has only One dispenser when they used to have two. Every time I've gone I've had to ask them to refill it. They no longer sell Coke it's nothing but Pepsi but a very limited amount of Pepsi products. Also the Slurpee machine is always broken every time I've gone. I asked for red vines the other day because I saw the display and he told me they don't have them anymore. Please remove them if you do not sell them. When I went and sat on the chair there was popcorn on my seat so it was never cleaned. So it has gone down a little bit. But still a good place to see a movie read more
