CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE , I got charged for 3 tickets too a movie that I ordered . I never received a email confirming my purchase, when I called the theater the punk that answered the phone wouldn't get the manager he said he was busy when I told him my issue he refused too do anything and refused too get a manager and hung up on me . Not a bad theater...I like where it's located...plenty of parking...and it's just about away from everything...the inside is fairly clean...and my concession stand food was nice and hot ( chicken tenders and fries)...of course the prices were high...but all movie prices are high...one complaint I have is you can hear the movie that's playing next to the one you're sitting in...I guess the walls are thinner than other theaters...all in all...this is a nice theater to come to...with a friendly staff read more

My husband & I are AMC Club Members, & we go to the movies 3-4 times a month. We have always loved the AMC theaters. That said this is the first AMC we've encountered that we are disappointed in. The staff is not attentive to customers, the theatre is typically messy, they're usually out of stock in supplies (i.e. straws, lids, toilet paper), when we order our food ahead of time it's never made on time & we have to get in line to ask for it which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead of time. It's a shame this is the closest AMC located to us. We're now considering switching to its competitor, Cinemark. We've been to it a few times & have had a much more pleasant experience there than AMC. read more

I've tried to give this theatre the benefit of the doubt but the fact of the matter is that this place is a DUMP - not unlike many other AMC theatres. It is now a 50/50 proposition as to whether the reclining chairs will actually recline. The seats are dirty and sliced up. Floors and bathrooms always dirty. It is obvious that AMC cares much more about expanding their footprint and adding A List members than they do about actually delivering a pleasant movie-going experience. Do yourself a favor and go to either Cinemark theatre in The Woodlands, you will have a much better experience than you at this clown show. Update: -1 Stars! Tonight in my theater 12 year old girls literally ran up and down the aisles and a dude in front of me was vaping. You read that right - did was VAPING! This is my favorite amc theater all over Houston, and in Texas and in whole USA! Iv been to many and all over many states and nobody has comfortable roomy red reclining (almost laying) seats!!!! This AMC always disappoints. Me and my wife have been here three times and every time we are always frustrated. Here is a list of things this establishment needs to fix: - Unfriendly employees - Popcorn machine that doesn't blanket the lobby with smoke - Old water/feet smell in each theater - Cleanliness (bathrooms are disgusting, drink machines are constantly missing lids/straws, trash cans are constantly overflowing in each theater) - Replacing recliners (several of the recliners we have sat in are in serious need of replacement) read more

My movie starts at 11:30am but the doors are locked. Thats really stupid, they said the doors open at 11:15 am.

This theater is the dirtiest theater I have every seen. Drink machines and butter station are always a wreck (took photos once). A smoke tends to fill the air in the lobby from their snack bar. The bathrooms are regularly disgusting. I have actually contacted AMC Corporate about this location. Once the bathroom flooded and stunk all the way into the lobby. The restrooms normally run out of toilet paper or seat covers. The trashcans are overflowing. Once the movie wouldn't play and the left us there forever. Many theater goers went and tried to get assistance. An employee actually said he didn't know where the manager was and that he thought that the manager didn't want to deal with the customers. There is a new theater opening in The Woodlands. I hope it is better managed and has the great seats. The ONLY reason I ever go to the Spring location is because they have very comfortable seating. I'm writing this review in hopes that ownership or management will see it and make the changes necessary to save the theater that I've been coming to my whole life. This theater underwent great renovations and has amazing seating, making it come back as my theater of choice. However, it has become a disgusting mess. I held back from writing a review on my last visit thinking maybe it was just a busy weekend and they were understaffed resulting in a huge mess at the popcorn condiment bar and theater in general's.. But here I am again and it is the same. Please... Someone get this place cleaned up. read more

I went to watch Thor love & thunder Monday July 18th at 10pm and from the moment I stepped into the movie theater the workers were just rude she only scanned one ticket witch was weird when we went to buy snacks the girl working there did not want to sell us anything snacks I asked for a boxed she turned around and said "does it Look like we have boxes" I am an A-list stubs member I pay for a membership to at-least be treated politely not to be told they don't have anything when I can clearly see all the popcorn and nachos behind her. Then when I asked to use my A-list membership for my discount the girl told me her scanner did not work. The worst part is when we walk into the theater there was trash everywhere our seats were covered in soda there was popcorn all over the seats and floor trash everywhere it was disgusting I was in disbelief of how they just don't care I would expect this from any other theater but no an AMC theater. This was once a run down movie theater then was revamped and became the hot spot of the town. After being open for two years with the renovation this place have been run down. Pop corn is all over the floor as you walk to the theater, bath rooms are completely unsanitary with unattended toilets, and the staff is not friendly. My experience getting my tickets was fine in having ease of access to my reward points. I went to the concessions area to receive a drink and snacks when the employee yelled at me to come towards him when I was the only person in line. His coworker came over and puffed his breathe that he seemed to be exhausted and bored. Then walking to my movie (theater 5 for pitch perfect 3) the employees walking around to clean up didn't notice any of the popcorn in the ground to be picked up so customers don't get it under their shoes. The bathroom I walked into and turned back around because the toilets were not attended and trash was all over the floor, not in the trash can. I live in the area and am all for giving money to local business but I will be driving to The Woodlands to watch my movies in the future. If corporate AMC could see this place then the license should be pulled for not presenting the name with a good reputation. He's the worst one. Like, I get you hate your job, but I just want my mobile order to be ready at the time it says on the app so I can go on with my own miserable existence too. The theatre is very clean, I liked the set up in the auditorium that I was in - auditorium 9. Very spacious with the new recliners. Even the men's restroom was clean - now that's an accomplishment! The concessions took a bit of time, but there was only one employee working concessions. I'd return to this AMC. read more

Yesterday was date night and decided to watch "US". We arrived 30 minutes early because we know lines can get long on Tuesday nights. We purchased our tickets for the 7pm showing and the only seats avaliable were in the secound row. We were hesitant but then I reminded my date the seats recline and we wouldnt be straining our necks looking up. To our suprise theather 5, row B seats 9 & 10 do not recline. We also ordered food from the online app. The app told us the food would be ready at 7:10. I went to pick up our order at 7:05 and it was not ready. At 7:10 I asked the young guy at the register about my order and he said they were still making it. At 7:20 I asked again about my order and the same guy told me it was almost done. I then asked him how did he know if he didnt even turn around to check. When he turned to ask the person prepairing the food, this person said it was done just not put together. I was then handed my food which had been sitting for some time as it was cold. I asked the guy at the register why were my hot dogs cold and he simply said "i dont know". I didnt want to make a bigger deal of this as I was already missing my movie at this point. I then walk over to the drink station to get my date her cherry ice-ce, only to find both machines not working. I then went to the condiment station to get the jalapenos my date asked for to put on her hot dog only to find an empty container. I could have went back to the concession stand to ask if they could refill the jalapenos but didnt feel like getting another "I dont know". Image the look I recieved from my date when I return to my seat after the movie started with a cold hot dog, no ice-ce, and no jalapenos. When we were leaving I asked a person sweeping for a manger to go over these complaints but my date didnt want to wait as she was complaining about a stiff neck from looking straight up for the past two hours. read more

Just this year we have watched 14 movies, most visits the place is a mess. Restrooms are nasty, drink and butter bar are wrecked. On the bright side, the popcorn is always fresh, and the service at concessions is consistently good. All the hot treats are made to order so you get it fresh. I'm sad to say my favorite theatre needs lots of attention. The bathrooms are always dirty, and they can't keep toilet paper in all the stalls or soap full at the sinks. No sense of urgency or awareness by management when informed. They need to do a regular shampooing of the rugs in the hall and cleaning of the theaters. Aside from picking up trash, I don't think the staff does much more. I mean, how much would that cost?? In addition, some of the seats are torn and the seat numbers are missing. Been coming here to this theater since they added the reclining seats and assigned seating. However, now the seats are are all torn up, some badly. The screens in some of the theaters are so dirty it's hard to focus on the movie. I have a better picture at home than in-some of these! All that plus the Express-Online snack ordering is hit or miss as to whether it's ready or not. Management needs to step up here. read more

The young people who work at this location are nice, but they lack professionalism. At the concession stand, I have to remind them to scan my AMC stubs card, and I have to ask for my receipts. Tonight, the young man at the concession stand forgot to give me part of my order. The area by the drink machines is dirty. The floor is wet and there's trash and food on the floor and counter. The women's restroom and the family restroom are filthy. The family restroom rarely has soap to wash my hands. Tonight, a soap dispenser was put in, but there are no paper towels except the ones overflowing from the trash bin to the floors. The movie theaters themselves are kept somewhat clean except for the overflowing trash bins near the entrance of the theater. I've never seen anyone who appears to be over the age of 18, so I'm unsure if there is a manager on duty to ensure the theater is kept clean by its employees. read more

Never thought I would feel the need to rate a theatre but this experience was just bad all around. Line for concessions was a mess and very disorganized. Minimal customer service at the register. They were out of water, out of ice, out of lids, out of icees, out of soap and paper towels in the bathroom. Went to go see Lion King! I bought my tickets online through Fandango. My only complaint was that the seating chart on fandango was very different than the actual theater I saw the movie in but didn't stop me from enjoying the theater. I went on a Friday night and the line for concessions was quite long but the employees were able to help the customers very quickly (given that they seemed short staffed for a Friday night) and I was able to make it to my movie on time. I would recommend that if you do go on a busier night, that you arrive a bit early if you plan on getting concessions. Other than that, I've been coming to this location for a while and haven't had any complaints ! read more
