We went to see "Michael" at Cinemark Cut theater in Cypress. The theater was nice, I bought tickets a week in advance and selected our seats at the next to the top row. We also had the seats that vibrated with the music and also had heat. We didn't need the heat of course. Bar and food service was good, we got snacks and drinks to enjoy during the movie. Still full from lunch so mostly drinks. Servers were attentive. There was a button on the chair if you wanted service. The movie was really good. I got nervous when a group of younger kids filed in and proceeded to sit in the very top row behind us. Not nervous about them being kids but they were a lively bunch, from a birthday party. Great idea to have a party at the movies. Bad idea to have it at this kind of movie. Before the movie started, we heard "hee hee" an unhealthy amount of times. We sat through about half the movie and they got restless. Standing up, talking, moving around. I complained (rang the food buzzer) and the worker said someone already complained and the manager has addressed them. They will address them again. I reported it again when I left and got the nicest email today with points to go see another movie. Thank you Michael with Cinemark guest services!! Underpromised and overdelivered. I will give you another chance. You redeemed yourself. I wasn't looking for anything, I just wanted them to address the issue and acknowledge our experience. The tickets were not cheap and we deserved to see the movie in peace. Maybe they should monitor the theaters periodically and proactively try to avoid these situations where others are being disruptive. read more

DATE NIGHT!! Was so excited to see the Running Man I was there with the proverbial bells on as the wife wanted to watch it as well. --- Insert YAY here!!!--- We purchased our tickets online so walked right in to our seats. Seats...more like the living room furniture I wish I had as they recline fully, are heated, and so big you could take a nap on them. WAKE Up AND WATCH THE MOVIE!!!! Running Man ROCKED BTW...highly recommend. The food...it's a theater...what did you expect? We got the truffle chicken fries which were somewhat edible. I assume the fries were crispy at one point...but soggy, saggy, sad, and cold by the time they reached us. My beer came out promptly. My wife's accompanying glass of wine waited to make a fashionably late appearance 20 minutes later. RUNNING MAN ROCKED!!! Though I do love a theatre experience, I could have had better drinks, better food, and still been just as happy sitting in front of the fireplace wrapped in a blanket and watched it at home on my ridiculously too big TV. Still. Wife was happy to get out of the house having no kids for the night. Tickets were free. Theatre was close. We had a good time overall. Service was pretty prompt. Of course in all the seats available, the 2 gentlemen next to us who ate nothing but chips, burped, and talked throughout the entire movie only exacerbate my love for my quiet couch. No knock on the theatre as they cannot control the mouth breathers that had to sit right next to us in a relatively open theatre...read the room people. Rock solid 4 stars. read more

First time visiting this location. It is a nice clean building. On another note the experience was mediocre to say the most. We weren't let into the movie until 5 minutes before "start time". We ordered pretzels, popcorn, and 2 non alcoholic beverages maybe 5 minutes after we were seated. The theater smelled like feet and it did not feel like the AC was on. We got our pretzels about 10 minutes later but we did not receive our drinks and popcorn until another 30 minutes later. In addition, i understand the concept of having the waiter discuss your order and everything at your seat but i think it is inconsiderate that no server in the theater used a lower voice while the movie was playing and when they are speaking to a guest they obstruct the view for others. There was no attempt at maybe crouching to not block the view. Overall i give it a 2/5. read more

THE DECLINE of a ONCE-GREAT SPOT!!! I've had a love-hate relationship with this place. One visit, the food is hot and delicious; the next, it's cold, mediocre, and disappointing. Unfortunately, my last three visits have been a letdown. First off, the food is extremely overpriced--probably more than it should be. If a business wants to charge absurd prices for comfort food, then it should at least ensure top-quality service and consistently great food. I have no issue paying premium prices, but I expect to get my money's worth. As for my go-to order, I usually get the plain fried wings, which are typically cooked to perfection--crispy, hot, and free of excess fat. Lately, though, they've been serving me cold, undercooked, and soggy wings loaded with fat. It seems like they've switched to a cheaper brand of chicken, and the difference is obvious. Frustrated with the wings, I decided to try something new. I ordered a fried chicken wrap with fries (no salt). The wrap itself was hot and flavorful, but the veggies inside were wilted, limp, and soggy, almost like they had been microwaved. The fries were even worse--stale, cold, and tasting like they'd been fried in old grease. Oddly enough, despite ordering no salt, they had an overwhelmingly salty taste, as if they had been soaked in salt water. My husband and I were equally confused and disappointed. He ordered the Bistro Burger with fries (also no salt) and had the same complaints about the fries--stale, cold, and overly salty. The burger itself was just "meh"--nothing special. The lettuce was wilted, the one tomato on the burger was soggy, and the cheese was hard. Once again, we were served un-fresh ingredients. Adding to the disappointment, the seating experience has also gone downhill. The seats are busted, and most of the seat warmers no longer work. This may not seem like a huge deal, but when you're already frustrated with the food, dealing with broken, uncomfortable seating just adds to the overall dissatisfaction. Sadly, this place has gone downhill. It used to be one of my favorites, with consistently fresh food and a well-maintained atmosphere. Now, the quality, service, and presentation are all over the place. If they're going to keep charging sky-high prices, they need to step up their game. At this point, the only thing worth coming back for is the popcorn and drinks. Next time, we'll eat beforehand and stick to margaritas and popcorn for our movie night. I hadn't realized that Cinemark kitchen and movie theater, so I joined my family to see "The Conjuring" at that location. Although I didn't eat at the kitchen directly, I ordered food from there during the movie. There were about seven of us in our party, and everyone ordered concessions and food. Some of us got wings, pizza, concession popcorn, and seasoned popcorn, along with beverages and milkshakes. The food was really good; the chicken wings were warm, and the pizza was hot and fresh. My partner mentioned that his Oreo milkshake was a 10 out of 10. However, I didn't like that the truffle seasoned popcorn and other seasoned popcorn were served on a smaller tray instead of a larger bag like the regular concession popcorn. Additionally, the seasoned popcorn was overly salty, making it hard for us to finish. I would definitely order everything again but recommend asking for the popcorn seasoning on the side so you can season it to your liking. Since it was a Saturday and breakfast time you would think they would have a breakfast menu as other theaters but they do not. The food we ordered was not worth the pricey bill. Two movies in two days. Went to see Michael and we ordered food right as the movie was about to start. We sat there and noticed everyone else had received food and they ordered after we did. Took us to call a server to ask about our food. All we got was sorry about that. Two days later went to see The Mummy. Same experience. We bought 2 kids pizza and we purchased 2 XL popcorn. The popcorn tasted old and stale. They weren't even warm. So we knew they were old old popcorn. Popcorn also tasted burnt and just disgusting. I've worked in the theaters before and I know that movie theaters use old popcorn sometimes. It's horrible. No one even ate much of it. What a waste !!! I will not ever order anymore popcorn. Something so simple as popping fresh popcorn for consumers is now a thing of the past. The theater tables and seats were wet and seats had trash in it. We don't go on date nights that often, but when we do, I find an excuse to watch a movie here at Cut! I love that I can reserve my seats in advance and chow down on some good food whilst I watch a movie. At first, we were skeptical to order food at a movie theater, but let me tell you - they can go toe to toe with some of the pubs and burger joints out here. The theater is always clean and the service always great. Totally enjoy this place! Save your appetite for a good fresh meal somewhere else. I came to watch FNAF 2 with my family. We ordered the roasted chicken quesadillas with fries, a medium popcorn, a pickle and a side of extra fries. My nephew said the quesadillas were good but we were sad to say that the fries and popcorn weren't really fresh and we came to the theater for the matinee showings. We came to see the new Bad Boys movie on a Sunday night. It was our first time here and it was a great experience! Nice reclining seats, the food was pretty good, and check in was super fast. **Came tonight (Thursday night) to see a Quiet Place & had a completely opposite experience. Our seats literally stunk, the theatre was dirty / sticky & the bathrooms were a mess. This place is too nice to be that dirty!! We ordered an Icee, Mikes Hot Honey boneless wings & the pretzel sticks. The icee & pretzels were good but the wings were dry and way overcooked. While I highly recommend their movie screens and sound!! Their food is subpar at best. Not at any point did I enjoy the food! I got the Hawaiian salad with No chicken and I was told that the dressing came on it...No! Actually it didn't! I didn't taste anything but dry lettuce! My daughter had popcorn and my son had the tenders with fries. The fries felt like they had come straight out of the refrigerator! My husbands food came with fries and his were just as cold. However...he did mention that his grilled chicken wrap was very good. They ended up charging me for two salads and extra everything but the manager took it off. Gladly. While the service was great, there was one guy that came to take our order first and he was rude as hell! I went in to watch TOP GUN: MAVERICK and have been wanting to check this place out after passing it up several months ago. It's super nice and love the ambience of this theater. I know, not something you might hear too often but I can see these dine in movie theaters are upping their game! The seats go all the way back! Super comfy. Only downfall is drinks and food are (of course) so overpriced. I know everything is but if you are going to charge customers $10.50-$13 for a marg.. please give a nice glass cup (atleast). I've been to this theater 4 different times now and I've had a fantastic experience every time. The consistency in service is a stand out for me. I would like to thank everyone at Cut Cypress, TX for the outstanding service. The way everyone works together to get your food and drinks out while not disturbing your movie watching experience is impressive. Let's talk about the food. I went with the chicken tenders. They were pretty good. Nothing fancy but good. The chicken tenders come with fries and your choice of sauce. My husband ordered the Loaded garlic Parmesan fries and OMG!! These were soooo bomb! Fries topped with diced chicken tenders, melted cheddar and Jack cheese, garnished with garlic Parmesan sauce and ranch, shredded Parmesan and green onion. Does it get any better than that??? NOPE!!! My in laws got pizza, it was also very good. You can never go wrong with Pepperoni, sausage and bacon. Lol. I also spotted an elote pizza on the menu. I will definitely try that one next time. The service sucks, both times I ordered a draft beer, the beer was bad, it was soured or something, both times.... maybe it is old maybe they do not clean the serving systems for the beer but it was disgusting..... the first time it happened they apologized and said nobody orders draft Bud Light the second time I did not waste my time telling them and I will never be back, the food is mediocre at very best. I almost don't want to review this theater because I want to keep it a secret. It's right next to the outlet mall, but somehow it is not super busy. It is so clean and still looks new. The seats are either heated or cooled. They also lean back more than other theater chairs. Pretty comfortable. One note: If you get ranch popcorn, it is very salty. Maybe you can ask for the seasoning on the side so you can add a little or as much as you want . read more

I'm so happy this beautiful new movie theatre opened up in Cypress! It's located between the Academy/Marshall's plaza and the outlet mall behind the rooms to go. We bought tickets online, and checked in the booth. The seats were super plush, you can choose cool or warm seats. You can call your server from the button on the front face of the seat near your feet. The food and concessions came out quickly with fresh, buttery popcorn and a bottomless pit of peanut M&M's. There's also a little light on the tray to help you eat your food without disturbing anyone around you. So happy with this place! read more

Was on this side of town recently to do some shopping and took advantage of the ideal seat availability to watch Top Gun: Maverick with my family. It was busy! I assume for the long awaited release of this movie and that it was opening weekend, so nothing less than to be expected for such a highly anticipated film... 30 years to say the least!!! First - the theater is nice. The seating is ample and soft - my kids immediately took to the seat heaters and got cozy. Fantastic amenity! I personally loved how the seats "sank" and were super plush! The restrooms were clean, the parking was in abundance, even with it being as crowded as it was... The issue came with the food. One - no refills on popcorn. Two - the cost and menu options were just not there, considering it's touted as a "luxury theater." Last - the service was HORRIBLE. We ordered WELL before the movie began and didn't receive anything until nearly halfway through and only after I buzzed the staff for an update. Not to mention, my kids' food came out cold and incorrect. The funny part - they brought out our order again - literally a second version of the order towards the end of the movie! No apology, no correction, nada. Not even a credit towards the mess up they made and still took back the food that was wrong! Overall, not a good first impression - I'd heard some decent remarks regarding the theater and was looking forward to checking it out. I certainly won't make a special trip to catch a movie here, but may consider it again on the off-chance we're in the area and want to see a movie. I've been coming to see movies at this location ever since it first opened up, every time I come here I always have an amazing movie experience with the most comfortable seats and amazing audio. The servers here are also incredible always super friendly and always courteous to never get in the way of your movie. Even though we were at the first showing, the theater seats and trays we had were dirty. It looked like the whole theater hadn't been cleaned because we looked at the other seats around us in other rows, and they were dirty, too. My mother had to use the bathroom, and when she came back, she reported that there was old feces stuck on one of the toilets. A nice new theater conveniently located near the 290 Outlets. This was my first movie-going experience since the pandemic and they set the bar pretty high. Seats were spacious and comfortable leather recliners (they have heating/cooling, but mine didn't appear to work). Aisles are large so you don't have to worry about tripping over anyone if you get up mid-movie. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable and the food and drinks were of good quality. We got the classic movie popcorn (how can you not) and a frozen Jack & coke - yum! I saw a different review mention this, it was a bit toasty in the theater...usually you have to worry about being too cold, but not here! read more

My last visit to cut by Cinemark was for Father's Day. I will never be going back ever again. It took them over an hour to bring a soda. That's absolutely ridiculous. Not only that while watching the movie, the lights got flicked on then off and then on for about 10 minutes till I had to go and find an employee to tell them to tell their manager to turn the lights back off. worst movie experience I have ever had in my entire lifetime 10 out of 10 would never recommend. Biggest complaint is not having Clean restrooms!!!! The restrooms are not your regular style. They are the unisex/family style. Every time we go I avoid the restrooms because they are disgusting. It's a nice theater and has great comfort options to enjoy watching a movie, but the dirty restrooms that are not cleaned up completely kill the vibe. Management needs to do a better job on keeping the restrooms clean at all times. Especially when there's staff standing around, not doing anything and just talking.
