When I compared quotes, Impulse was the most inexpensive by SEVERAL hundreds of dollars. Impulse also quoted an extremely short turnaround time compared to others (literal days vs. weeks and months), which I frankly thought was overly ambitious and probably too good to be true. Nevertheless, I delivered my canvases to their store on Tuesday afternoon and to my absolute shock and delight, I received a call late Thursday morning informing me that my work had been completed. Reader, that was a TWO DAY TURNAROUND. And how was the work? INCREDIBLE. The service? EXPERT. The in-store selection of framing options? VAST. Will I absolutlely be doing business again with Impulse? WITHOUT A DOUBT.

Framecrafters was recommended by our daughter-in-law, an Interior Designer (ASID). We took in a…read morenewly-acquired piece of art which we thought would like fine unframed, but in actuality was too small without a frame. With guidance from Debby and Scott, we were able to get the perfect frame for that piece, along with a frame for a Chagall print that matched one we already had. In that particular case, the framing material had to be ordered from a California supplier, and the supplier shipped the wrong size material. We discovered the error when we brought home the second Chagall, called Scott to tell him of the problem, and took both lithographs back to show him. One week later, we had both prints back, correctly framed, and, as lagniappe, Framecrafters had replaced the glass on the original print with museum glass at no charge because of their original error. They are not "overnight" framers, but do outstanding work, and we would not hesitate to use them again.

On a mission for some faux flowers, I put on my big girl pants, and braved the angsty uncaffinated crowd with the greater mission of finishing my work craft. While Michael's florals are pricey, it's always a treat to find the occasional 99 cent bundle, or seasonal 50% off sale. That being said, there are always items on clearance and always coupons, deals, and sales. Although a bit lacking in their traditional florals department (well, in terms of the selection of reds), this location is calm, organized, and everyone I've encountered has been helpful and friendly. Honestly, what more can you ask for?

They said there might be a defect with whoever made it and so be it but we asked for a refund because we had bought a replacement balloon there and we had to spend an extra $10 on another number balloon and more helium. And then on top of now spending twenty dollars for two balloons, one of which didn't even float, every latex ballon is $2. They never refunded our balloon that didn't float and said next time to buy a balloon directly from them.

We wanted to get some different frames for pictures/paintings and originally went to Hobby Lobby and nothing interested us there. I found this shop on yelp and we decided to check it out. We arrived about 10 minutes before closing so we tried to be quick but the man was very patient with us. They have HUNDREDS of frames to choose from, very good quality ones too! I loved all the different options we had to check out. Additionally, they had tons of different matte color options. We selected a few different frames and the man was helpful in making sure we chose something that looked good! They were ready within 2 weeks and we love them! Will be going here again for sure!

I want to share the amazing experience I had with Lauren at Bradley's Art & Frame yesterday. I had…read morepurchased Kinkaide's Holiday Gathering and it arrived with a black speck on the lining. I called ParkWest and they offered 1) to have me send the painting back to be reframed, or 2) take it to a local framer and they would send them a replacement liner. I opted for option #2 and took it to Bradley's, the only framer I would consider for this special work of art. Lauren inspected the defect and determined that the speck could be easily removed without having to replace it. Out came her razor as she delicately flicked at the spot and removed it without any damage to the lining. No charge. Not only does Bradley's do excellent framing work but they are very, very kind.

We gave them 11 rugs, some curtains, and other things that were damp in our home from a leak in order to restore them. After 3 months of calling them for the return of our items along with a couple of promised but missed appts by them, they finally brought some of our stuff back. Every single rug was damaged or destroyed by them. They admitted to destroying a couple of them but brought the rest of them back in shambles. Most if not all were completely faded and in considerably worse shape than when they left our home. Others had strings coming off of them and frayed endings, while others had holes in them. Another rug had dirt and grass on it somehow when it was unrolled. These were very expensive imported hand crafted rugs that they completely ruined. They are no longer usable. They are now expecting us to pay them for ruining our items and are keeping our rugs as well. Oh and they didn't even bother to show up with the curtains or other items, saying "they are running behind." What does that even mean? That our items are just sitting in a warehouse not being cleaned??? This is the absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with and hope that you take my warning seriously. If you don't want your items destroyed, don't want to be talked to like you're a child or a burden to them, and don't want a huge mess at the end of your already messy situation with the repair of your home, then I would steer clear of this organization.
