While I did not choose them for my project, I can tell you they will treat you and your property with care and respect. while no one wants to be the second choice, the fact they made it on the list as a strong possibility for my documents is not a small feat. I had a large canvas (50x17) that needed stretched. Many shops in Houston wanted to charge me $300+ for this, but Pictures Plus did it for a fraction of this as they also take aspect ratio into consideration (much more fair for the customer). I came here for The Gum Ball, A Willy Wonka themed gala on May 15, 2015 that benefited The Fresh Arts. As soon as I saw the event on Facebook, I immediately bought my individual ticket for $100 and began planning my costume! While I don't regularly support the arts, after attending this event, I realize that I want to! We rolled up that night to the visions of amazing costumes getting out of their cars at the valet line. Wigs, enormously fabulous candy costumes and lots of bright colors! I am usually feeling shy when I get to a costume party, but not this time! My Veruca Salt costume seemed demure compared to some these fabulously makeup'd, boisterous costumes. What a feast for the eyes! When we walked in, a friendly table greeted us to check us and and even sell tickets. The gallery is spacious and was decked out in oversized decorations, cocktail tables and various rooms containing tables of Wonka candy-filled havens! The event itself was well laid out in this gallery. The lighting and art on the walls were perfectly lit and spaced. I would definitely return. read more

I took a shot in the dark with this place.Since there are many other places to go to. However, I'm happy and lucky my chance paid off. I had 3 vietnamese silk paintings framed. Wow. I phoned Pictures Plus to find out if they were closing at a hard 5:00pm. You see, I was rushing to get there before they closed because I was traveling down I-45 (where anything could happen) and I left my house at 4:30 When I called I spoke to Lauren, She was very kind after explained the above and I posed the question and she was willing to stay open and wait for me if I arrived after 5. I was quite surprised when I arrived in 20 mins coming from Inwood. I exited Quitman (49-A), hung a left at the T, and practically found myself at their front door one block south off Quitman on Main. A very convenient location from my direction. Down to brass tacks. I brought in a poster and an old framed poster I had framed some years ago. I was quoted what I thought was a fair price just to swap posters old for new. Because Pictures Plus was reasonably priced, I asked to have the new poster put in a new frame, mat, etc. The cost was double but still it cost me the same price as I paid when I had the old poster framed long ago. So I put down my deposit (half required). As I waited for the framer to work up a quote on second job I may have done at Pictures Plus, I nosed around the shop and it was a very clean, displayed, lit, and organized well too. There are also a few extra accessories if your interested. I am very pleased over all. I will post a photo once I receive my newly framed poster. I can hardly wait. Once I got there, I received expert assistance in selecting a floating mount for a relatively unconventional piece of artwork on cardboard that I wanted framed. I have been coming to Pictures Plus for I don't actually remember how long. My mum was an interior designer and I used to come with her. She taught me what good quality framing was, and I know that every time I will get it at Pictures Plus. These guys are life savers. They have helped me with framing before, but this weekend they really came through for me. It was my father in laws funeral and i was asked to have his picture reframed at the last minute. I tried buying pre made frames at other places but his picture is and odd size and nothing worked. I then took the picture to Pictures Plus and Andrew said that he could rebuild the frame I have, change the glass and matt all in an hour's time. They did it and it looked great!
