Love the fact they are doing $1 movies on Tuesday and Wednesday for summer time for 10 am films only. My son loved watching paw patrol. The seats were uncomfortable through and they have stadium style seating. I was hoping for some reclining seating. You can buy the movie tickets online for a $1 more surcharge for each ticket so really became $2 each for both of us. The snacks and drinks were pretty expensive. I haven't been to the movies in a while so it was a surprise for me. $10 for small popcorn and $8 or $9 for slurpee. But my son did love the slurpee so I'm glad that it was worth it. The popcorn was not as fresh. The bathrooms were very clean at 10 am movie time. They have plenty of parking and good option to take kids for the movies. After calling four times and going through their maze of extensions, it hung up my call every time. My family and I went to go see Moana 2 . Unfortunately the experience wasn't what I expected . I went into it knowing that it would be busy and there would be a wait but there were many parts that were unacceptable. Starting with options on how to buy tickets . The signed stated use kiosk or concession to buy tickets . 5 out of 5 kiosk were not working . So of course it made concession backed up and because of that we missed our movie time ( we were 30 mins early ). The staff at concession were not kind at all. The only gleaming light was the staff member taking the tickets. He was so kind and as helpful as he could be with the crowd of people . Also the movie theater could use a remodel . The seats were uncomfortable and not suitable for long periods. I most likely will not go back to this theater and will stick with AMC . read more

We came here in a Sunday to watch Sing 2! We purchase our tickets via fandango so this review is just in the movie theater itself. The theatre itself was packed with people ordering food when we came in. Most ordered large popcorns, large cokes and large icees. We got a large popcorn, large coke, 3 water bottles and a tray of pretzels and cheese for $42.00. The they're itself was staffed well and was fairly clean and tidy. The theaters here have reclining chairs and numbered seating. The seats are only equipped with cup holder but hard to put food anywhere. We will be back to watch more movies as we enter into more of the community. read more

I use Regal all the time. Unlimited passes. This theater consistently changes their movie time at the last minute. It has happened to us, 6 times. We go to MOG, it never happens there. I stopped coming here for a reason. This place is horrible. read more

What happened to movie trailers?! I sat in my seat excited to watch trailers for upcoming movies but instead I was inundated with ads I am already plagued with when I watch TV. The movie started a half hour after the shown time. I guess punctuality means noting to Regal and this is the theatre for you if you're usually late. Wish I would have known before I showed up to the theatre nearly an hour before the movie actually started and wasted my time! Everyone go see Gladiator II though, it was great! read more

Fellow Yelper, Bonnie M., hit it right on the nose - Sunday night was a perfect time to come to this theater. I was a little skeptical when I found out there was no reserved seating at this Regal location yet, but then I found out there was no need for it. Absolutely no lines and we only had about 13 other souls watching the Impractical Jokers movie with us in a huge theater with tons of seating. My only wish was that they had recliner seats like many others locations, but my other half and I were still comfortable during our hour and a half long film. The prices here are actually a little more than our Maui Regal back home, which we were surprised at, but being members we at least got our free ticket that we earned through the Crown rewards program. The large drink we got was pretty huge, and the pretzel bites were cooked just right. There's plenty of parking and a pretty big in-theater arcade, if you wanna kill some time before your movie. I like that they didn't make a fuss about me bringing my tote bag in too, unlike some other theaters. Conveniently located near tons of restaurants, a Publix, and a Walmart, you can easily grab food before or after your movie if you're hungry. I must say this was also the cleanest theater I've ever been in - EVER! Lol...Most likely because it's not as busy as some, but I'm glad they take pride in the place and don't get lazy just because there are not as many customers coming through. I have no complaints aside from the lack of recliners. It was a very relaxing atmosphere to come see a movie in. I would definitely come out of my way to see a movie here again. Staff was friendly but theater we went to was gross. Like legitimately gross. Left over food from previous viewings and the landscape maintenance is awful. Tree branches hanging so low they touched the parking lot. Mostly exposed dirt in the beds. Needs to be closed and cleaned and fresh landscaping. I made the mistake of going to a theater! For the first 30 minutes they showed commercials and crappy movie reviews. It is loud as shit and totally unenjoyable. I'll not be back. New name still great theatre(Original name Great Escape) ...they play the latest movies. They use to have some awesome jalepeno salt to add on popcorn/now you can purchase a personal size (updated 9/14) Its never really packed..they give military discounts/student. Prices aren't cheap/never on groupon, but we still choose this theatre because of convenience. Its always clean...staff is sometimes short...(hint) My daughter needs a part time. Husband and I leave the kids to come here and enjoy a movie. Sometimes we are all alone in the movie theatre....just us watching a movie Oh what fun! ; ) read more

Eh. This is a funny movie theater. When you first enter the area, you have to drive around to the side of the building because the main entrance faces the freeway. Um. Yeah. It literally faces trees overlooking 85. On the bright side, there are plenty of parking. :) Now the movie experience. Although the sound and picture were crisp, I felt like the seating arrangement could have been more spacious. The actual seats seemed to be fairly small with the arm rests acting retarded that night. But, the movie 300 (playing last Friday) was great and this cozy theater does the trick. The facility itself was clean and looked new, nothing run down nor lacking maintenance. So far I have just come here for the summer $1 flicks- which is a great offering if you have young kids and need something to beat the heat with at 10am on a Tuesday/Wednesday! There were quite a few kids and daycare/summer camp groups but the line to get tickets moved incredibly fast. Now if we had stopped with just the $1 tickets we would have had a fantastically cheap morning but unfortunately we had to get concessions and for a medium soda and a kids snack pack (a junior icee, kids popcorn and gummies in a tray) it was over $12 with tax. Coming from Macon the concessions are about $1-$2 more expensive per item than what I am used to for sure. All in all though the experience was good, the restrooms were clean and the seats are comfortable in the theatre we were in. I plan on signing up for the Regal Crown Club to see how their rewards program works. We will definitely will be back for a regular movie experience too. read more

As stated below the crowds are sparse, the place is very clean, staff is great, and the seating is comfortable. The Great Escape movie theatre is a wonderful local theatre to escape the maddening crowd of The Mall of Georgia theaters. I've been here many times and have always had a good experience it is rarely overcrowded and very clean, only a couple years old. While it doesn't have all the movies of the mega theaters it's selection is good and current, typically 10 or so movies are shown. Prices of movies are getting out of hand. This theatre offers free showings of older released kids movies weekday mornings during summer. read more

I was standing in line (and I was next in line) waiting for popcorn (I was going to use my points for a free popcorn) and another line opened up. Instead of the cashier asking for the next person in line, she told the girl behind me to come up and order. So, I walked away. I was a little disappointed with the service I had just received, so I casually mentioned the incident to the young lady taking tickets. A man, whom I've never met, asked if I had already paid for the popcorn. I said no, I was going to use my reward points to obtain a free popcorn. The young lady who scanned my ticket apologized for the incident and I walked to my theater. Moments later, that same gentleman appeared in my theater with a bag of popcorn for me! Sometimes only bad customer service experiences are posted, so when something nice happens, I believe we should share those experiences with the world! I've visited this movie theater several times over the years and it's always super clean. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The one thing that I like about it it's tucked away on the side it runs parallel to Interstate 85 it's great if you're passing through and want to watch a movie. The access is easy and there is plenty of parking. Additionally there are great restaurants in the area. Everything is in walking distance. The theater is nestled in the Dacula area. It's a very safe location the parking lot is very well lit. Seating inside the theater is comfortable. The seats are a little larger than average. As the temperature changes they are very accommodating, it's never too cold or to hot usually just right. Whoever is managing this theater is doing a great job. If you're ever on 85 get off on exit 120 and go watch a movie at this theater. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. read more

Huge but awkwardly designed parking lot; it wrapped around the side of the building and we got confused leaving. *shrug* we went to see one of the later showings of Jumanji to close out the 2017 year. Although there were no lines, i liked that there were alternate ways to purchase your tickets, if needed. I didn't buy concession, as we planned to eat at one of the several nearby restaurants afterward. The theater was clean and so were the ladies restrooms. I came to see Alita in 3D on opening night​ but was disappointed​ with the 3D screen. The 3D screen in room 8 does not work properly and was annoying to watch for the whole night. Regal make sure these screens are working properly for your customers. read more

All the employees that we have encountered have provided us with great customer service. We are in love with their rocking chairs.
