This was the nastiest theater I have ever been in. My cup holder was full of nutshells and there was food in my seat and also on the floor in the aisle ways. Good thing I bought my wet wipes. I always stay to the end of the credits. There was no one coming in to clean up for the next showing. Two ladies came in with their popcorn and were totally disgusted. I gave them my last wet wipe to clean off their head rest and arm rest. As I went towards the lobby there was not a worker in sight except for at the counter selling concessions. I was scared to go to the bathroom after seeing the lobby. The popcorn stand was disgusting . The movie 'Bad Boys' was very good. read more

For what it is, it is serviceable. It isn't the cleanest place, it isn't a place I'd take my wife or my mother on a date. But if it's a movie I'd like to see on my own and I don't need a big screen, or dynamic audio? It's perfectly fine. Kind service and if I recall correctly, free refills. read more

Like probably the majority of us, we have not seen a movie at a theater in quite some time. We decided to see Spiderman, which was great. NCG Cinemas is very reasonable in price, the staff was friendly and honestly, there were probably only 10 people inside our Theater. The Popcorn and Nachos are typical, as one would expect. As almost all places decided to use that microwave cheese stuff (yuck), this place still does it the old fashion way (it comes from a plastic bag). Overall, the inside of the Theater lobby is pretty clean, and the supplies seem to be well-stocked. The seats inside the Theater are not very clean and should be cleaned after the movies are let out. I know it is work, but definitely would make your seats last longer and who wants to sit on a seat with old stale popcorn? If you come here, bring some wet wipes or something to clean your seats. Went and saw the If movie. Prices were cheap compared to most theaters. I enjoyed the reclining seats. Service was okay. I will be back.

What you see is what you get. Cheap tickets, inexpensive snacks, smaller theatre rooms and big comfy reclining chairs. I love coming here mid week early in the day because I usually get the entire theatre by myself and then I can leave and do my weekly grocery shopping at the nearby Walmart. read more

This is a very nice cinema, small however nice. I love the the lounge chairs that stretch out so you can kick back relax and watch the movie. Very comfortable little place to watch movies on the big screen. Staff is always friendly, cinema is always clean and comfortable. read more

I like coming here for the following reasons: Cheaper than most - under $10 for regular showing, less for matinee NCG Rewards - earn points towards snacks Leather, reclining seats Free refills on popcorn Free refills on drinks Decent selection of new movies The staff isn't rude, but could be friendlier. The lobby and the auditoriums are not consistently clean. Some days it's great, other days you can see trash piling up in the trash. Unlike the Norcross location, this one does not have a candy bar or a party room. Tickets for new movies sell fast and parking gets packed since it's shared by other businesses. The auditoriums are small compared to SMG, Regal, or AMC. It helps to arrive early on opening day of certain movies. read more

It's a pretty cool place to view movies at overall. The prices are decent and they have plush recliner seats and a push button get your own popcorn machine. The downside of this place tho is for some odd reason the lights in the theatre coming on or not being turned off seems to be a issue. I've seen over 30 films at the NCG Stone Mountain location and I know there's been at least 9 times or so that I've had to go out in the lobby to alert some one about turning the lights out. I just saw A Quiet Place Day One on June 27 and the 2 lights in the theatre mysteriously just turned on midway of the film. Also the men's restroom contuines to be a problem. It smells like urine and is unkept. There are plenty of kids working there at the counter so I'm not sure who's job it is to clean the men's restroom. Other then those two issues, it's a cool place to watch films. read more

Wonderful cinematic experience! It has these HUGE recliner comfy chairs. You sink into them and put your feet up and enjoy the movie with amazing sound system. The place is clean, well managed and tickets are very reasonable. It has six screens if I am not mistaken and I watched the Avengers2 here and it was fantastic. Its a well run place. It clean, the staff is polite and courteous, the seats are the most comfy ever. My wife enjoyed the recliner so much , she said we should go get one. Amazing cinema indeed, I think I will watch all my movies here going forward. read more

I am currently at the movies to see the Little Mermaid. The movie did not start at scheduled time as the employees felt obligated to chase down ppl who they "suspected" might have brought in outside food. The staff was very rude and used profanity as they were dismissed since the person did not bring in food as they had assumed. I would not have written a review if the movie had started as scheduled but there hasnt even been a preview displayed 20 minutes after the scheduled time. Im usually not one to complain but the entire business is unorganized. I had low expectations and those were not even met. It's unfortunate because i came here years ago and i can clearly see a decline in management. read more

Came here to see queen and slim over the weekend after this theater was recommended by a friend. Brought my tickets online in advance thankfully because when we arrived the show was sold out. It is a smaller theater with i believe 5 screening theaters. Make sure you get there early since there is only one line for you to purchase tickets and get concessions and even tho i brought my tickets online i still had to stand in line to get the tickets printed which defeated the convenience of purchasing online and the charges $1 convenience fee online smh. Anywho the seats in the theater are nice and comfy as they recline but you can't reserve your seats so again get there early especially if you're going with a larger group otherwise you'll like have to split up. So since we got into the theater right on time we were stuck with front row seats on the right side of the screen. The price of the popcorn is also decent at $7 for a large with a free refill the drinks are $6. read more

This is one of those movie theaters that no one will ever expect to return to. My brother and I happened across it over a year ago and were surprisingly pleased. This movie theater is on the end of the shopping center off of Hwy 78 in Stone Mountain across the street from Wendy's. It looks kind of run-down (to me), but it's not. When you go inside, the concession stand is on the right and that's also where you buy the movie tickets. Here's a really big tip: FREE REFILLS ON ALL POPCORN AND DRINKS... ALWAYS!!! Not only that, you get to pour your own butter and whatever flavor of popcorn salt you'd like! The self-serve butter and salt is on the left of the concession stand. There are 6 movie rooms and there's no theater seating, but all of the chairs are leather recliners! Adult movie tickets are normally $8, but they always have promotions and discount days. Definitely worth coming back to. BOTTOM LINE: This is my second favorite theater! read more

This theater does justice to merely watch a movie. The theater was dirty and not cleaned at all. There was popcorn all over the seats and sticky floors, which should have been cleaned. The seats are nice enough, but however 3 out of 4 of our seats did not recline (theater #1, second to last row on the left) The customer service here is not a concept, instead of working to reduce the line upcoming to show times, apparently it takes two employees to work a microwave. When a good movie comes out I will wait for it to be showing at this theater. Not only is it conveniently located within 5 miles of my home, they have reclining seats which is so relaxing. Also, the workers are pretty friendly and the popcorn is always fresh. Most importantly, the restrooms are always clean. Tonight we've watched Night School with Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish. Went to see Ticket to Paradise movie. They had the narrative speaking sound on thru the entire show. Staff said they didn't know how to turn it off. This was very irritating to have talking over what was being said in the movie. Suggested they tell those coming to the next showing before they buy tickets. read more

I have always liked this theater, but I'll never go there again. I made the mistake of purchasing a ticket with fandango and leaving my phone at home. The manager told me to call call fandango, I was on hold for 20 minutes. The manager finally took 45 seconds to call and get the confirmation number. I missed part of the movie. I showed the manager my fandango card, he still wouldn't let me and my kids in to see the movie and get him the confirmation number later and I frequent this theater all the time. I guess he has his job to do. And technically he did nothing wrong, but I prefer to go to a theater where I get the benefit of the doubt. We used to come here often. Came on Saturday evening, they were out of popcorn and soda. The employees very clearly didn't care. The bathrooms were flooded, like really dirty and the floor was covered in water. The seats to lean back were broken. This place has become a mess, and it's sad. We won't be coming back. read more

My family and I visited this theatre on Saturday to see the new Star Wars movie. This is one of the best movie theatres that I have been to in a long time!!!....They have the most comfortable reclining seats and the best popcorn. This is a nice theater. We went on a Tuesday night and we paid $5 for a ticket. That is a great price. On this visit we didn't get popcorn but was told we would get $2 off any combo. Nice movie theatre! Staff was pleasant! Seats were a lil squeaky but so what... Free Refills on medium popcorn, can't beat that! I think this will be my new go too theatre beside Studio Movie! I'm so glad the theatre re-opened. It has been completely renovated, digital projectors, great sound, and reclining seats. The aisles are wide, so you don't have to climb over people for a trip to the restroom. The staff were very nice and the audience well-behaved. I noticed that they have a police officer present during the evening. Good idea. In addition to the usual concession stand, they have the elaborate mix it yourself soda vending machines. Refills are free and you can serve yourself - no getting in line. The restrooms are huge. Probably because of the free refills. You shouldn't miss much of the movie while making a pit stop. read more

Great for the price. They have nice drink machines (Coke's latest customizable fountains) and kind staff. Theater interior seemed clean, and those "leather" recliners sure were roomy and comfortable if only a bit squeaky. I was looking forward to the opening of this theater because I normally would go to AMC in Decatur. AMC tried to upgrade the theater but the seating was old and dirty. I would only go Monday through Thursday to get $5 discount. Now at NCG the normal everyday matinee price is only $6 and $5 all day for seniors on Tuesday. Drinks and concessions are cheap. read more
