Only complaint: Wish they had bathrooms for both genders on both sides of the theater so I wouldn't have to miss as much of a movie walking to the men's room on the other side of the building.

Their selling point is that you can order food and have it delivered to your seat while you watch a movie. We ordered the most simple order that a movie theater could fulfill - a large popcorn. And it never came. I had to get up and complain to the concession stand operators and the guy never apologized. He gave me attitude. I was so incensed, I asked to talk with the manager, who took forever to hear my complaint. And I'm missing 15 minutes of my movie. Any good theater would comp your movie. All I got was a free popcorn. They fumbled their only selling point. To the managers and owners of Movie Tavern: If you can't do table service right, why not just have a normal concessions stand and just let the customers take their food to their seats themselves?

And they show a spectacular mix of mostly south Asian films, on the cheap. They have a snack bar where you can get a bag of popcorn and a samosa; what else could you want? Is it the joint really flashy and clean? Well, no. A little run-down looking, but good fun? Heck yes! Now, I'm mostly an ITP kinda guy, but this theater is worth heading out for. Between this one, the Tara, and Plaza, I'm pretty much covered for my movie-going for as long as I live in Atlanta.

Told us food would be 3 minutes, ended up being 15-23 minutes. They didn't have hot dogs. Food was mid-par $55 for 2 people.
