I recently went to Wayback Burgers to feed a burger craving and it hit the spot. I got the…read moreimpossible burger, but I have had it before and it never misses. The guy working the register is not really helpful and I think it may be because he doesn't speak english that well and tries to hide it. I asked if my bun could be toasted well and if the burger can be cut in half and he didn't add anything on the register, then when I stared at him waiting for him to add it, he dismissively turned to the cook and said "bun". When I got the burger, the bun wasn't really toasted and it wasn't cut in half, so I sent it back. The cook was very nice about it and brought it back out with no issues. The burger was good, but all of the food was really greasy. While eating the burger, grease began to drip down my hand and the fries/onion rings still looked wet. I ate this for dinner and woke up with the absolute worst headache that lingered for 3 days... Also, just a heads up that it is a la carte, so the drink and sides were an additional cost. The impossible was an upcharge, they don't sell small drinks, then the fronion rings all came to be about $20, which was pretty expensive. The location is tucked in a Kroger parking lot and wasn't busy when I went, which was later in the evening. The inside was very clean, nice and organized. It was also quiet inside, which I liked. Overall, I probably won't come back here because of the headache it gave me, but the burger was decent

My kiddo got the kids burger and fries along with a red velvet milkshake and she loved it. Hubby had the chicken BLT and he was very pleased. They hand breaded his chicken and he said it was perfect and not greasy. This is a small store front but very clean and plenty of seating. Take a look at the photos- reminds one of linch counter of the 50's and 60's - not the feel of the restaurant. Do with that what you will. Worth a stop and great service.

What a find for those who are from out -of- town! Located downtown, in historic building,…read moresandwiched between other eateries. There are several dining areas situated up and down stairs. There's also a balcony for al fresco dining. Cute, cozy brick interior. As for the food....YUM, YUM, YUM. We had the smash burgers. Believe me when I say the Celine Dijon was outstanding!!! Sounds strange but the crispy friend cheese was unique and with bacon jam.....Home run. Would come back just for that. Mr. Egon was good, but didn't compare to Celine. Handcut fries were plentiful but thought were overly seasoned. Dipping sauce was .75 extra. We shared the generous slice of whipped peanut butter pie, drizzled with fudge. Would have preferred whipped cream. My preference. Drinks were not strong. Orders were served with that sweet southern hospitality. Highly recommend reservations for weekend. Public parking provided in back can easily fill up on weekends.

Quality food, good beer selection. Nice seating, pretty private at table. We enjoyed the place/atmosphere more than the food, though the food was a good quality. Nothing grabbed us about this place. I feel bad saying it, service was great, too. Try it, you might enjoy it.

I decided to try it out. I ordered a burger and fries and a shake and OMG my mind was blown. The burger is juicy and delicious and addicting and flavorful and hot and yummy and... I could go on. The fries were delicious. The shake was amazing. The people at the counter were very kind. I saw a review that somebody gave a very poor score and said it was because there was no soap in the bathroom. Well, OK, whatever not sure that has anything to do with the food. I would highly recommend that you try this Burger. I've been back three times and I dream about it so I'll be back again. I got the rodeo burger with onion straws, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, BBQ sauce and 2 patties.... it was good not as good as I expected but oh well the shake made up for it. I would suggest that they have at least one menu that people can hold in their hands in case they have cataracts and can't see the board! It's that too much to ask for? The place is always clean and they have a 100 health score though the floor was sticky
