The movie had all the elements to impress! The lighting, the cinematography, the acting were on par. One unbelievable fact is that the music was all original! It was an awesome event! Phillip Serafin is a writer that really deserves recognition for all of the hard work he put into writing and making this film production happen! The coolest thing was the actors in the movie all showed up for this premiere showing! We were able to mill around in the lobby and meet the actors which was super cool! This was a sold out event! It was an excellent evening, that I won't forget!

This theater reminds me of the old school theaters from back in the day. The seats don't recline,…read moreand all they offer is the regular concessions popcorn, candy, nachos, soda, frozen pizza, and water. The only thing up to date about this theater is that the seats are numbered, so you get to choose your seat when buying your ticket. The website mentions they have a GTX theater that stands for Grand Theater Experience. I have yet to see that offered with any of the movies I've gone to see, but I would love to check it out. When ordering online, you have the option to order tickets through Fandango or Georgia Theater Company. Both options offer rewards, but I prefer fandango since I can use my rewards at any theater across the country who uses them. The ticket booth is a riot. There is one young man who usually manages the booth as you walk in, and he is hilarious. Great personality, and he will tell you all the important things to look out for like sneak peaks after the credits. GTC Houston Lakes is by far the best theater in a 20-mile radius.

Went there on 11Apr to see Jo Koy. He was very funny as was the gentleman who opened for him…read more Seats are tight, no knee room but I could deal with that. My issue was the ushers! They paced back and forth behind us all night talking. They were trying to catch someone taking pictures or videotaping so aggressively that they had no regard for us. They stood between us and the stage over and over and over all night!!! One kept leaning on the back of the seat right beside me despite the fact that the row was empty and they could have moved down, it wasn't necessary to stand over my left shoulder...but you did anyway!!! With what we paid for tickets and the $5.00 bottles of water we should atleast be allowed to watch the show!!!!! That was BS!

Drove around for about 10 minutes, like many others, to finally find parking directly across from the Auditorium for $20 that only took cash. I looked at the Auditorium to see it was a chaotic scene. At about 720 there was a long line still waiting to get in. The Line extended from the Auditorium down the stairs onto the sidewalk. This told me that the show would be delayed as well, as people were looking for parking like me while others were waiting to get in. Afterwards, I drove around a few more blocks for about 10-20 more minutes then at 745 I gave up and drove the 1.5 hours back home. I called the box office to voice my disappointment. If you're not familiar with the area you wouldn't know where else to seek parking but I tried by following the crowd as they continued to look for parking. I won't be coming back to this location. Sorry that I missed his performance I was really looking forward to it.

Macon City Auditorium - Worst venue I've ever. Steep dark stairs with zero markers to get to awful balcony seats. I'm 5'7" and this is how tight the seats are.

If you know what it's a small world smells like at Disney World, then expect that same smell here…read more Sorta damp 1960's smell. Pick your seats strategically. If you sit in the back there will be poles in the way of your view of the screen if you sit in the wrong spot The concession stand workers were super slow the lines lasted until well after the movie started. The popcorn tasted like cardboard and the cokes were flat. Don't expect a giant screen like a high end movie theater but it was still plenty big enough. With all of that being said this place has an endearing quality. It has a box office out front that gives you actual tickets which is super nostalgic. I assume one of the owners was the one selling tickets and she was super nice. The interior feels like it transports you back to days gone by. Lots of gold fixtures and nostalgic ceiling tiles. The seats while old were very cushiony and had an old timey feel. The projector and sound seem to be upgraded to digital. Unfortunately it was super hot in there and I wish the AC was colder. Overall I had a decent time and it's cool to have a theater in a small town. This theater is the same distance away from me as a multiplex. I'll probably just keep going to the newer theater.
