We ended…read moreup staying here and thought that the lounge attached to the hotel would be a nice place to hang out . Well, it has much to be desired. We went on 3 nights (Saturday,Sunday & Monday). Saturday night it was basically empty. We ordered 1 drink a piece which were pretty good actually, but there were only maybe 10 people including the bartender. There was NO entertainment, DJ, not even the Jukebox was playing so we left. Sunday night was karaoke and there were approx 25 people there with a DJ and it was decent until the hefty birthday girl and her buddies started twerking and acting silly on the stripper pole before they left. Sunday night we returned after hanging out downtown and realized that Robert Lee Coleman would be there, so we decided to check it out. His performance was wonderful. It is nice to see that he continues to play and enjoy his craft in his later years. I pray that the band of misfits he plays with are taking care of him and not using this elderly man for their financial benefit however meager it may be. The one young guitar player to his back left by the speaker appeared to be high/drunk not able to see or walk and had to be helped off stage. Once he sat down at a table he seemed to nod off several times before he was removed just to reappear a few minutes later full of energy and vitality. What did they do to him or give him I am not sure. But, a certain medication that will remain nameless, can be given to offset the bad effects I suspect he may have been given. Overall, I believe this place truly has potential it just needs the right owners, management, and staff to turn this place around.

They paced back and forth behind us all night talking. They were trying to catch someone taking pictures or videotaping so aggressively that they had no regard for us. They stood between us and the stage over and over and over all night!!! One kept leaning on the back of the seat right beside me despite the fact that the row was empty and they could have moved down, it wasn't necessary to stand over my left shoulder...but you did anyway!!! With what we paid for tickets and the $5.00 bottles of water we should atleast be allowed to watch the show!!!!! That was BS!

Drove around for about 10 minutes, like many others, to finally find parking directly across from the Auditorium for $20 that only took cash. I looked at the Auditorium to see it was a chaotic scene. At about 720 there was a long line still waiting to get in. The Line extended from the Auditorium down the stairs onto the sidewalk. This told me that the show would be delayed as well, as people were looking for parking like me while others were waiting to get in. Afterwards, I drove around a few more blocks for about 10-20 more minutes then at 745 I gave up and drove the 1.5 hours back home. I called the box office to voice my disappointment. If you're not familiar with the area you wouldn't know where else to seek parking but I tried by following the crowd as they continued to look for parking. I won't be coming back to this location. Sorry that I missed his performance I was really looking forward to it.

This was my first time here and we went for the Tequila & Tacos event. The entire space is massive. I didn't realize that outside wasn't the only space, there's a "hidden room" behind a bookshelf as well as an indoor bar / seating area and another outside seating area. I really enjoyed the environment with the live music & food trucks giving a variety of options to choose from. We ordered the tequila tasting & also the margarita tower. 10/10 for both of those. The bartender we spoke to was very helpful in explaining the drink deals and helping us choose what to get. Our drinks were made quickly and we found a nice seat by the stage to listen to the music. The band was great, really enjoyed them. We also decided to try out 3 of the food options. We ordered chips, salsa & queso from the stand by the bar. When the woman packed the sauces into the bag the tops weren't secure and the queso spilled to the bottom of the bag. I asked my fiancé to go back up and ask for it to be replaced but when he did the woman wasn't up there. So we made the best of that & just ripped the bag open & ate them how they were. Next, we ordered a chicken quesadilla from a tent on the side and asada tacos from a different truck. The tacos took about 10 minutes while the quesadilla took about 45, honestly maybe longer. The tacos were alright, nothing spectacular but they weren't nasty. For the size of the meat they could've used more cilantro and onions on top. But taste I'd give a 6/10. We noticed a line of people waiting for food forming at the quesadilla tent and since we still hadn't received ours I asked my fiance to go ask about it. About 10minutes late ours came out. I can't give a rating on food because we left shortly after that & just took the quesadilla home. Overall we had a great experience here with the drinks & music. And will definitely be returning for date night.

hmm. is this macon's best? pretty locale..at least the courtyard. inside was a bit stable like,…read morebut still good times. i was here for a holiday party...and the food was a weird combo of island-ish and traditional. wild rice, some sort of baked chicken thighs, some beef in brown gravy, scallops in a mild curry sauce, fried plantains, a tofu, chickpea and kale dish and mixed veggies. the vegetarian dish was actually my favorite, followed by the plantains and the weird scallops. one of my classmates said she thought she had food poisoning after eating though...but my stomach of steel was fine. oh...they also had a dessert table set up with huge triple layer cakes of all types: chocolate, red velvet, coconut, and one other, looked like cookies and cream or something. cake makes me very happy in general, and these were yummy. so...bad things. they quickly ran out of dinner plates, so if you wanted to get seconds, you had to belly up to the buffet with dirty plates. yuck. plated appetizers either looked dry or smelled very much like hot grease. i didn't try any of them because they looked like sam's club specials, and they didn't have any toothpicks, so you basically just used your napkin like a glove and picked up what you wanted. um, no thanks. it was very generous of the waiter to assure me that the seared tuna didn't taste like tuna from a can (thanks for the tip). for some reason, they also had a bad shortage of glassware at the bar....i guess they need to head to ikea and stock up on plates and glasses. all in all, this place is cute, the bartenders were talented and the jazz band was pretty awesome. the food was a bit meh....but i give them points for being somewhat creative, esp in the vegetarian department.
