Great venue! We went for the beer / Girl Scout pairing event. It was really well done! The service was great and the ambiance was perfect. I haven't been to a concert here, but I can see where it would be pretty enjoyable.

Pulled pork tacos and street corn. Delicious!

Came here to hang out with friends, and it turned out that they were cooperating with Satterfield's BBQ, which was providing food. I ordered a pint of Tropicalia, a crisp, light IPA whose taste is redolent of grapefruit juice. To eat, I got two carnitas tacos and some Mexican-style street corn. The food came to the table super-quickly, and service at the bar was likewise swift. My beer got more than an inch of head, so the bartender gave me another glass with a little more beer in it. The tacos were delicious, although I must be honest that they were pulled pork rather than true carnitas. Still quite delicious. So too was the street corn. Outstanding food, outstanding service. Definitely recommend.

7.17.21 Society Garden is a fun, hippy, hodgepodge of exterior & interior spaces: the big courtyard overflowing w/ kids, families & couples, where they feature live music...& then little seating areas so you can have a romantic moment or catch up on the dirt with an old friend. Lots of chill energy & good vibes, as others have mentioned. On the Saturday night I went, The Merry Steel performed + a chick on the gi-tar rocking out when Merry took a long assssss break - perfect for a Saturday night! Every other table was scarfing down pizza from next door's Ingleside Village Pizza. And now SG hosts Satterfields BBQ inside so you can chow on their delishness. As far as what to drink? It's marketed as a beer garden so every beer under the sun + their alcoholic slushies + top shelf whiskies from around the globe. I indulged in a yummy Pina Colada Slushee. Fortunately, a local brought me up to speed on the fascinating back story of this spot: it was actually "Society Gardener" for 40+ years! Maconites bought all their plants, gardening tools/accessories, fountains, etc. from this family-owned business. So to have it now be transformed into another community gathering place is super special for many who grew up shopping here with their Memaws. Can't wait to go back!

a christmas tree and decorations

This place is super cute. Had a great selection of beers and wine to choose from. The heaters/fire set up make sitting outside even when it's cold pleasant. The inside was decorated so nicely for Christmas! However, i am BEGGING for someone who works there to clean the bathrooms. They smell horrible, they are not at all clean, and it gives the overall feeling of crack house. Which is such a shame because the rest of the place is really great.

Pretty dope vibe. Live music. Unique Festivals. Could be so much better if there weren't kids running around EVERYWHERE. According to the sign children can be there until 9pm, however it was after 9pm and there were still quite a few there....running around. They've recently partnered with Satterfields BBQ for on site food options or you can always walk next door and grab a slice of pizza from Ingleside Village Pizza.

Very casual, eclectic and hip local beer garden. Enjoyable both inside and outside settings.

Verde chicken taco for $5.

Don't go here for the food, super expensive for super small portions. $15 for the nachos and $5-7 for the tacos and the margarita was $10.80 (after tax) which was basically a plastic solo cup of ice. The bartender inside was not friendly and the setup of the place was confusing for first time guests, as the food and drinks were in different areas.

Very much enjoyed Society Garden of Macon. Such a beautiful and welcoming feel the moment you walk down. The drinks are great, the people are always friendly and the music is always good! Only negative I have is that I live too far away so I can't come and hang everyday like I would! LOL! 100% recommend! Bring your pup and enjoy a refresher, the views, and the music.

Wonderful place for date nights. Love the atmosphere and live music. Not to mention the amazing drinks and fun people. I day dream about this place with my boyfriend. They have exotic drinks that are hard to find anywhere else. Would go here every week if I could.

My wife and I enjoy wine tastings and visiting wineries, so we were excited to finally have a night…read moreto check out this local wine market. Unfortunately, the service brought your score down. We had a reservation for dinner and the young lady who initially met us, did not even ask us this. She greeted us with, "we have an event going on, so seating is tight." OK - Well I have reservation. That seemed to help her find us a table. When she sat us, she handed us one menu for my wife and I. No wine list, (at a wine market) and no introduction. After 5-6 minutes, our server came out and said hello, but did not bring water or the wine list still. But, she did inform us again about the event going on. WE know restaurants are busy on weekends and even more so in the holiday season, but the constant reminders of "The event" does two things, one the servers are creating an excuse to say, you are going to receive slow service, and two, it felt like, how dare we show up during an event night. Finally on our servers 2nd visit, we were able to receive a second menu and the wine list. We ordered the 6 piece charcuterie and two glasses of wine. The server who made the charcuterie board, was very pleasant and proud of her creation, and rightfully so, the board was beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed our wine choice and decided to buy a bottle, our server, had zero wine experience. She did not present the bottle to me, (I have the wrong bottles brought out on a few occasions, and this is just a common courtesy) she uncorked the bottle, did not present the cork, she poured from the bottle into glasses that already had wine, granted we ordered the same wine, but at a wine market with a big event, maybe two new glasses should have been brought out, just in case. Then after she poured our glasses, she DROPPED the cork on the floor, picks it up and sticks in our bottle. Do your servers do that with silverware? Then she began to walk away with our bottle, I asked her to please leave the bottle on the table. She was seemed like that was an odd request. Overall, if we could give half stars, I would say 3.5 for the review, it was saved by your charcuterie server, as well as the taste and quality of the meats and cheeses, as well as the wonderful selection of wines. We will be back and hopefully, you take these comments constructively, and have your servers trained up a little more to be assets to your establishment.

Not a lot of wine spots in this area, but it did not disappoint!…read more AMBIANCE (3/5): It's an old house, turned into a wine bar/dessert place. I'd say it's not great for big groups, but the owner VIRGIL made it happen with our group of 12! We had trouble finding a spot that could keep us altogether, but he allowed us to sit in the wine cellar which was an awesome experience! SERVICE (5/5): The owners VIRGIL & CAROLINE are an amazing duo. Virgil's knowledge of wine and Caroline's pastry skills make for a deadly combination. Virgil also gives a tour of the house and history lesson which makes everything feel so personal. Hard not to love the place when they are so friendly. FOOD (4/5): They only serve light bites, desserts & drinks. Hands down the BEST CRACKERS I've ever eaten in my life. $8 CRACKERS (large size): trust me, you will want more! These are HOMEMADE and the best thing I've ever eaten. $8 PRETZEL BITES: perfect pairing while drinking! These are soft and served with a side of cheese. $15 SMOKED SALMON DIP: amazing dip and served with those delicious homemade crackers & some fresh grapes. A perfect paring. BROWNIE: best brownie I've had in a long time! She wouldn't disclose her secret ingredient, but it was a MINT brownie. I died! OVERALL (4/5): I love supporting this local business. The owners are wonderful, they only buy wine from women or minority owners and they have a great selection of wine and delectable food. This place is a hidden gem! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
