I couldn't be happier, our water is now always hot and our house is consistently an even temperature. Not to mention that our gas bill is always less then half of what it used to be. I researched on the internet and it was quite clear to me that the problem was the "dip tube" The employee that came out simply tested less than 10 gallons of flow through my kitchen faucet and said that there was nothing wrong with my water heater. Never mind the fact that a water heater is designed to run 2/3 of its capacity without significant temperature drop, which would be over 30 gallons for my water heater. He did say that he needed to actually look at the water heater for his "paperwork" I continued to tell him that the first 5 minutes was not the problem. While he was looking at the water heater I ran another 5 gallons or so out of the tub sink in the same room. I asked him to test the temperature and it had dropped 15-20 degrees. He said this didn't matter and my water heater was just "old" and probably didn't work as well. I then pointed out to him that the water heater had just started after 10 minutes and probably 1/3 of the tank being run out. This is a clear symptom of the dip tube being bad since the cold water is not reaching the bottom of the tank and tripping the thermostat to turn on the heater until a significant amount of water hot water had been used. He just told me that there was probably build-up on the bottom of my tank. Of course he didn't take the 5 minutes to open the valve and run a bit into a bucket to check this. Knowing that the dip tube was the problem I ordered and replaced it myself. Sure enough the dip tube was cracked off just below the fitting and was causing all the problems. When I called the company back they refused to stand behind their work. The owner said that a dip tube is "one of those tricky things" and that "it doesn't make sense to open up the water heater to check it" he said he would have done exactly what the person that came out did and refused to stand behind their work in any way. I am not sure if these people are completely inept at what they do, trying to collect the service call fee without actually doing anything, playing some game in hopes you will buy a new water heater from them, or some combination of all three. Bottom line, never use this company!

I got a quote within a range and like all other things, I expected the final price to be at the higher end. I'm always concerned because these guys are on the clock and my cynical self says it doesn't matter how long it takes because it just gets reflected in the bill. It was stifling hot in the room. I told him this is our canfield central AC. We went to the kitchen and he said this is the way it should work in the bedroom. I have had them back twice to fix it and it still isn't working. We have a window unit in our bedroom just so we can sleep. My friend said that Greg Canfield would never have allowed that kind of work to be done. He said get them back out here and have them make it right. Unfortunately Greg Canfield is no longer the owner. Buyer beware, find a company who will fix their work until it is right. I would take any help or advice.

He offered a solution that would require moving a low used circuit on to another one to free up a slot for the double slot 50 Amp breaker. He suggested a certain type of charger that they install frequently. I was able to find a different brand that would work for Consumers Energy rebate. I got great communication from Flat River with a break down of costs. The unit I bought was cheaper (tons to choose from) Flat River installed the products I purchased for a reasonable fee. Quick and easy install, very clean and professional. Would use them again!

There were only 7 reviews on Yelp for Haisma at the time but after reading through each of the reviews, I felt confident the reviews were genuine and decided to give it a go. I'm so glad I did. The two technicians who came to the house were super professional and pleasantly personable. They worked collaboratively and took their time to troubleshoot the problem I was having with my furnace. I find that service companies often times will try to upsell the problem and replace components and parts that don't necessarily need to be replaced. Both technicians were extremely honest and did an excellent job communicating the potential issues with my furnace. They ultimately determined that a tune up of the furnace would be the best solution to address the problem for the time being; and if it continued to act up, they would come back to replace parts, as needed.
