The ease of booking online was great and I liked that there were time slots available for my needs. My appointment was with Michele and she made me feel so comfortable from checkin. She has many years of experience and gave me great breathing techniques to get through those moments (ladies you know what I'm talking about!!) she was really easy to talk through and even asked about my prior experience. This is the first time in a long time where my Brazilian was tolerable and I attribute that to the soft wax but also my waxer. I have heard from former employees that management treats them poorly, messes with their schedule and has no respect for keeping customers aligned with the person who you have established a relationship with. To me this demonstrates a disregard both of their employees and their customers. I understand that businesses can choose to make decisions based on a variety of factors. I am not writing this review based on their decision. I am writing this review based on their handling of their decision, which, in my opinion could not have more poorly. Before all of this, I was happy with the establishment for years. i'm sure there are good people that work there who provide great service. The staff is so sweet and friendly and made my shy two year old feel super excited. They have a special bench set up for little kids so my daughter was able to sit next to me in a pedicure chair and get her mani done while I had my pedi done. They did a really great job and even added on sparkles for her, which she loved. They also do it fast, which is key for a little kid. She was done with her mani in like 10-15 minutes. The bottom floor of the salon is where Lourna was stationed. I was promptly greeted by the staff and taken back to meet Lourna. At first I felt a little weird because we were in the men's barber room and secluded so I didn't feel like I was apart of the salon, but I came to quickly enjoy the appointment because of Lourna. She explained all the products she was using on me from start to finish. I liked that this salon has two kinds of products, Bumble and bumble and kerestase. She used the Kerestase products on me and I really liked how it felt on my hair. Her hair washing skills were AMAZING. The scalp massage she gave me was 10/10. Throughout the whole appointment, I didn't even notice I was getting my haircut because she was so gentle, even when blowing out my hair. The haircut came out amazing and I am so happy with the results. Lourna really listened to what I wanted and I can't wait to see her again!

The technician who worked on me completely changed the shape of the two broken nails, but didn't bother to match them to the rest of my nails. When I asked if she could fix the rest so everything looked even, she was dismissive and said she didn't know how much it would cost and that it might ruin the polish--yet the shape was already ruined. There was a clear lack of professionalism and attention to detail. Instead of listening to my request or offering a solution, she made the situation worse. I was charged $16 for a fix that didn't meet my expectations or the basic standard of matching nail shapes. I'm very disappointed and do not recommend this salon based on my experience.
