Wanted to love this place as it was close by. Unfortunately, upon entering, received weird vibes. The goal was to receive a new set of tips/gel. The technician reccomended a refill. I said that's fine as long as she replaced the tip that fallen off prior to arrival. She said yes..however when she started to do my nails. She would not do a new tip for my thumb. She made it very short to match the thumb nail even when I asked her again to add it as part of the service. I was also planning on getting a pedicure as well, but decided to leave. Walked in on a Wednesday for a spa pedicure & uv gel filling for my nails. Few things caught my eyes. First, establishment was Very Clean and looked very organized. On the wall of nail polishes, they actually had organic nail polishes!! This was awesome for someone like me who's nails are so sensitive. Also, huge selection of vegan scrubs and products they use to do the spa treatments. Got my pedicure first. Really appreciate the fact that they used the disposable liner and vegan products. Definitely a plus factor! Staff is super friendly and attentive. Gave me a small bottled water to relax in the message chair during pedicure. Next, went on to get my nails done. UV gel filling took average amount of time for anyone who's done it before. I'm quite happy with the result of how it turned out. Location is so convenient as it's litterally outside of the parking garage off of DeHart st. Just come up to street level and it's just next door to the Roots Steakhouse. Wish there were more reviews up here before i went. I called to make an appt for a gel mani. Upon walking in the salon is very clean and you could tell it was new. A woman did my manicure and was rushing which was so apparent. I asked her to cut my cuticles and along with her rushing and being very rough she gashed a part of my skin. It really hurt but luckily i didn't bleed. It seems like after that she took her time and slowed down but like really you need to cut me to then give me a quality manicure. So....I wanted to really like this nail place. Initially very happy with my SNS but it only lasted a few days before it started to crack. I decided to give it another try and AGAIN cracks after about 5 days. I've been doing SNS for awhile and previously my SNS nails would last 2-3 weeks without fail. Do NOT go here. Worst manicure I've ever gotten, and I'm not exaggerating. I know it is hard to make short nails look good but they look worse than when I came in. Did not soak my hand, barely cut my cuticles, gel polish was left all over my hand (she blamed that in the brush being too big) and did not wipe it off after. If it was possible to give zero starts I would. I've been here twice, first when they opened to get my eyebrows done and I left with two different shaped brows. Since this is a nail salon I decided to give it another try and came here for a pedicure and manicure. Nails were not shaped properly, I asked for almond shaped nails and had to do it myself. But that wasn't even the main problem, the girl who was giving me a manicure started coughing (everyone including myself was wearing a mask) so another girl came and took her place. She sat there looked at my nails and said my cuticles weren't done properly but she's only doing polish so she won't fix it. The polish was clumpy and I asked her to redo it and she responded saying it's my fingers not the polish.... Customer service was mean and unprofessional. Really liked this place! I dropped in for a gel manicure on a lunch break during Jury Duty and was pleasantly surprised. They did a great job! The staff threw me around from worker to worker and I said I wanted a french manicure about three times in a row and the lady who finally ended up doing my nails didnt do french but just painted my nails pink. It looked horrible and boring and I asked her it she was going to do french and she said its too late now and next time she can. She made me feel like I didnt matter. I spent about $40 on a manicure and she didnt even try to make it right with me. I had to say im very upset and its my birthday for her to actually fix it. Over the past year, I've tried few different services and I am pretty impressed. Being that this place is in the heart of Morristown they are actually quite reasonable on the price. The girls, Sarah and Kim do a great job with the SNS & Gel(on two different occasions). They are friendly and talkative. Recently they have started to provide services for threading and massaging. Though hesitant, I tired threading after a long time. As many know It has been hard to find a good eyebrow person. Bhee did an amazing job, her hands are very light and I felt very comfortable and got many compliments from coworkers. Definitely will recommend this place! This is the first negative review I have ever left for a company in my life. Big day over here folks!! This was possibly the worst manicure I've ever gotten. I do not have one good thing to say about this salon. Ridiculous wait times, insane prices, and extremely poor quality. I was told they could take me for a gel fill 15 mins after I walked in, and it took them over an hour to get started. Many other people in the salon were also frustrated with the wait times. I'm usually not very picky about my nails, but I had to get these redone at a different salon the next day because they were so awful. I had a very unfortunate experience at this nail salon and I wish I turned around after being ignored by Kim once I came in. Our interaction only became more uncomfortable, her attitude adversarial, and demeanor more unpleasant as time went on. This was all witnessed by the spa's owner a few feet away getting her nails done, whom offered no intervention or remedy after I expressed my displeasure with the service and Kim's behavior. From my experience and also the owner telling another Black woman she couldn't be served and didn't care to offer an estimated time to return, I believe I was racially discriminated against. I will never return. Here are more details: From the onset upon entering the salon, I was ignored by Kim, the nail tech, and met without eye contact. I asked about nail organic manicure service. Kim stepped away to attend to another customer while I was asking her a question. Even after she was done ringing the other customer, she stayed behind the counter for another 3 mins at least. I waited patiently for her to return, but she didn't. I said aloud, 'if there was someone who was going to help me?' Kim returned without an apology and when asking questions about non-toxic, organic nail polish options, and how to follow their COVID-19 protocol when selecting the polish, I was met with an angry, rushed tone. It was if she was annoyed by my presence. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable and later communicated this to Kim after she would not respond to a question I had about filling in the visible gaps of polish on my nail. She became increasingly more frustrated, slammed her hand down on the bottle of nail polish remover, squirting it up in the air, and had the nerve to ask me if I ever had my nails done before. Previously, I pointed out to her that the other customer (a white woman whom she left to attend to when I was speaking to her) did not have to pay prior to her service being completed, and her request for me to pay now after she filed my nails was atypical of any experience I have had in a nail salon. The owner later agreed with Kim and asked, 'How could I pay with wet nails?' This is incredibly silly. I have never been treated with such disrespect in a salon before. The owner was sitting at the next station receiving a manicure, and could overhear the entire fraught exchange with Kim, and at no point in time, even after bringing it directly to her attention did she try to ensure the manicure was up to standard. Since Kim did not paint the entire nail the first application, and was reluctant to fill in the gaps per my persistence, Kim asked me, 'if I ever had my nails done before?' She told me not to 'yell' when I never raised my voice. She left a fuzzy string from the cotton pad on the nail and was annoyed and swiped my nail aggressively, saying there was nothing there. Finally after pointing out multiple nails with gaps of polish right before applying the top coat, she tried to convince me my nail was my skin. Kim said, 'fine, you win!' as if I wasn't a paying customer expecting a quality service. The second application was clumsy, rough, and uneven on the nail. At that point, it was clear that Kim refused to offer me quality service, let alone with respect. Both Kim and the owner were close by and watched me as I was drying my nails. As soon as I stood up, they said, 'Goodbye,' and were ready to walk me out of the salon. The owner never followed up with me to see if I was satisfied with the manicure so I approached her expressed my displeasure with the service I received. The owner said, 'oh sorry,' to placate me. I left upset about this unnecessarily stressful experience. I drove to another salon to have the polish removed. This owner ensured the manicure was done properly, and walked around to check on her customers. I paid after my service was completed. read more

I unfortunately had a lukewarm experience here. I asked for a regular mani-pedi and unbeknownst to me I was given "vegan" pedicure that I paid an extra $10. I was not informed that there was a "regular" $30 option pedicure. Both the manicure and pedicure were rushed. The paint job of the pedicure was sloppy, there was still paint left over from my previous pedicure. Upon telling the technician that I still had old paint showing, she seemed aggravated and frustratedly repainted my toes. I left disappointed with a mediocre mani/pedi. I always like my nails after I get them done but they seem to be rushing even though there is barely anyone there when I go. I got the dip powder done and it chipped in 1 day. I have been here three times, first were for pedicures which were awesome. I got the regular pedicure for $30 which included the basics they did try to upsell my service to a "spa/vegan" but I opted out and didn't feel pressured which was appreciated. The most recent time I was in I had regular pedicure and manicure but was a totally different experience. I am not sure if the staff member was new but she seemed extremely nervous and was barely cutting my cuticles or scrubbing my feet it was more of a tickle. I read many reviews and tried a few spots but was unsatisfied. However, when I tried Refresh Nail N Spa I knew this was the right place for me. It's clean, all employees are polite and meticulous. I decided to try this new nail salon in Morristown because I was intrigued by the organic aspect that was advertised. Unfortunately, my nails are not strong enough for this type of manicure, so had my usual UV gel manicure which turned out great. Have been there multiple times for manicures & once for a pedicure. Each time the spa is clean, the technicians are friendly & I had a good experience. Both Sarah & Helen are quite creative & have done different designs for my mani.
