They consistently got back to my queries immediately and picked up and delivered the chair they upholstered for me promptly, in fact, they had my chair ready and delivered it earlier than expected! The price was fair and certainly more reasonable than the other quotes I received, in addition to being paired with more courtesy and service orientation. Shirley S.

But it seems the company is under new ownership. My more recent job with them was subpar. When I reached out to them, they tried to blame me for misusing the item. The item was a diner booth bench. I was sitting on it! How could I misuse it?! Eventually they agreed to pick up and fix it but not before I had to fight with them to do so. Everyone makes mistakes. It's how you deal with them that makes all the difference. If they had simply apologized and fixed their mistake, I wouldn't have to be writing this bad review.

Not only were Jack and Patricio extremely helpful in sending me initial quotes and pictures of fabric samples, I was delighted that they are a local business right in my neighborhood - meaning I was able to go to their workshop the next day and look at fabric that they had available. (They have a huge range of beautiful fabrics that they can order, but given my rush, I decided that I wanted to go with what they had, especially since I had very simple needs in this case.) After I took my swatches and made my choice a few hours later, they came to pick up the chairs the same day and got them done beautifully and elegantly, well ahead of the deadline that I had requested. I am so happy with my chairs, which refresh the look of my entire kitchen/dining area. And I will definitely be working with HC Reup Design again soon, as I have another project coming up!
