If there was more transparency about the membership price and other relevant information, my star rating would have been higher. This isn't good business practice. Also, if Nate had just apologized to me for his mistake instead of just stating facts without remorse after I gently confronted him or anytime during that visit, he would have gotten a better review. It takes a person of "great" character and integrity to tell the truth and own up to things and apologize if there was any wrongdoing. A few phone calls later, they told me they found my account and confirmed finance had issued my refund yesterday and I'll be getting my refund 3-5 business days from June 18. Getting a refund issued shouldn't have to be complicated. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GREEDY COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING SCREWED OVER!!! Also, if you are desperate to tell people to write a yelp review about you, the associate is love bombing you on the sales floor, and it's difficult to get a refund issued back to you, red flags should be going off. They recommended going to a local Vans store and have them remove the security tag. The local store was not able to remove the tag and could not return the item as it was purchased at an outlet store. In calling the NJ Vans store again and further explaining the issue to Mitchel and his supervisor Kyle they said it was an honest mistake on there end and they can not issue a refund and there is nothing else they could do.
